A great location for prescriptions IMHO & a clean little store (not full-​sized, but more than adequately stocked). Nice people, too :).

So, why review a Walgreen’s? After all, it’s not as though they are hurting for any local business from the many office workers within a block radius of this Walgreen.
It’s so I can share with you their chocolate secret. They sell these great Joseph Schmidt chocolate bars for $ 2 each. A bar will last me roughly 2 days (that’s because I need 2 squares in the morning and 2 squares in the afternoon).
What kind of Joseph Schmidt chocolate bars are there:
Dark chocolate: my standard
Milk chocolate with lemon
Milk chocolate with peanut butter
Dark chocolate with raspberry
Milk chocolate with hazelnut
Milk chocolate with caramel
It must be confessed that I’ve only had the dark chocolate and the dark chocolate with raspberry. I am not a huge fan of milk chocolate. And since I can’t afford to spend all my money on Fog City News chocolates, these economical but delicious chocolate bars are good to tide me over until my next Fog City shopping spree or until my mega order from Zotter chocolates arrives (12 bars for myself; a total of 58 bars between several co-workers…it’s good to work with chocoholics).
And for some distribution reason, the chocolates available at different Walgreens are not the same. It’s probably a good thing for me that they don’t sell these chocolate bars at the Walgreens near my home. In a review about a different Walgreens, I will tell you where to get the Lindt bar with the lemon filling… so good that I am willing to eat it even though it’s milk chocolate.
Oh, if you decide to buy your cigarettes here, they automatically card everyone.

Update:
My friend and co-​worker just informed me that only I get carded, that she’s never been carded, and that I look all of 12. Sigh.

A good Walgreens that isn’t dingy and doesn’t have homeless guys outside making you feel guilty you don’t carry change.

This is your neighborhood go-​to store if you work in the area. I’ve found myself here on several occasions, and they usually have what I need. It’s also a convenient place to get cash back. Oh! Random, but they surprisingly have the best selection of Quadratini Wafters I’ve seen yet.
