Just got off the phone with Steve Simon. I told him, and what I’ll say here, is that this is the best Pharmacy I have used in over 30 years!
Their ability to work with, and execute large and complicated orders, have them sent on time, initiate follow up calls, etc. Unheard of in today’s marketplace. So affirming to feel and know someone is on your side out there. Cheers!

Very attentive and worked very hard to fill my difficult order. Attempted to track down the prescription elsewhere. In particular Steve Simon, Pharm D. went the extra mile to make sure I had my medication in a timely manner. Best service I’ve had at a pharmacy in a long long time.

When I moved to Diamond Heights I switched pharmacies for convenience and Walgreens was the closest. I had never used Walgreens for my medications and boy have I been thrilled with the service. The main reason is because of Steve Simon, PharmD. Dr. Simon is a class act. Super friendly, professional, genuinely caring and he goes out of his way to provide excellent service to his customers. After reviewing my prescriptions and insurance plan, Dr. Simon was able to set me up with financial assistance programs that have saved me thousands of dollars. He and his wonderful staff always greet me with warm smiles and are consistently eager to patiently answer questions and ensure that all of my medication and sundry shopping needs are met. Dr. Simon is now at the 45 Castro location at Davies Hospital. Walgreens is very lucky to have Dr. Simon work for them in San Francisco, and customers are equally fortunate to be able to visit his new location that he represents. Thank you Dr. Simon for your admirable work ethic and shining personality, I really appreciate all that you have done for me!

This may be a great pharmacy for prescriptions, however for items such as contact lens solution it is subpar. It is a hospital pharmacy. I looked it up on Unilocal & assumed it would be a typical walgreens… I was wrong. If you go to this hospital it may be fine, but avoid it for non prescription pharmacy goods.

Great pharmacists and technicians who CARE! HIV specialty pharmacy. Fast wait times — way under 10 – 15 minutes. They also have a delivery service and medi-​set service for patients that have loads of medications. Small selection for over the counter, but enough to get by. Open only M-​F from 9 – 6.
