Every time I come to the pharmacy here I have to wait seemingly forever in line. Sometimes there are no other pharmacy clerks around other than the one at the counter, and sometimes there are clerks standing around behind the counter just chatting with the pharmacist. I’m not sure if the problem is that the pharmacy is under-staffed or the employees are just lazy, but after four or five incidents of waiting 10+ minutes in line for a prescription that was already ready, I’ve given up on this pharmacy.

Best service at Walgreens! From the time I walked in I was offered assistance to help me find what I was on the hunt for. Appreciate the genuine customer service!

I am happy to be updating my prior review and upgrading my ratingvto 5 stars. The pharmacy has significantly improved the quality of its customer service over the past year. The pharmacists and staff are friendly, responsive and timely in filling prescriptions. They are now my primary pharmacy. I hope they continue their current level of service.

Terrible service at the Pharmacy at the Noe Valley Walgreen’s. Very rude and unhappy staff and long wait times. The Pharmacist was very unprofessional and she was so condescending to the staff there.

Great walgreens! The lady at the cosmetics counter(wish I caught her name) went above and beyond to help me pick out some makeup and even gave me coupons which saved me $ 3(and every penny counts these days). It’s also clean and bright inside. Outstanding walgreens.

In general I don’t like frequenting this ‘big box’ chain. But, since it’s basically omnipresent in SF, it’s unavoidable. I’ve been to almost all of the stores in the Noe/Mission area of the City and this one is by far the best. After the initial nasal-assault-by-laundry-detergent smell and über fluorescent/artificial light as I walk in(all stores share this experience) I can at least typically get the staff to help if I need it at this store and never have to stand in line long(so the sensory assault is brief).

Nice of this Walgreen’s to have a parking lot. Really helps with the parking situation here in Noe Valley. Shame that they were out of Key Lime sparkling water. Had to stick with peach instead. Parking is only accessible on the street adjacent to the front door and there’s only one way to enter and exit. This can be a problem as people just enter and exit wherever there’s an opening. In fact, I almost got into an accident when someone decided to exit at the only entrance. Yikes!

Great place and really no complaints. This is a «Baby Walgreens» in Noe Valley. Has everything you need and just a walk away from 24th. Everyone here is really nice and this location is not super crazy. Pro tip: There is a Castro Walgreen down the street — I recommend to get any medicine at this Walgreens as there is always parking and very little to no wait.

Walgreens has a new«membership rewards» program. Not sure what it gets you, but I don’t want to be a «member» of Walgreens. Today I went in to get a bunch of things, and because I am not a member, they disallowed all the price discounts on my items. I spoke to the manager and he said he’d «make an exception» for my purchases. That is not the point. The information gathering is too pervasive especially since they already have all my prescription info. The advertising pricing is deceptive — it’s a neighborhood store– and only members get discounts? There’s something creepy about that. And that the manager could«make an exception»? What’s that all about? I don’t want to be an exception. I just don’t want to be a member.
