The guy that works here (Drew) is a sad sack. Likes to play God in the upstairs office and switch off the coin machine so you’ll have to ask every time you need quarters. Lame.

Nicest laundromat I’ve ever been to! And I’ve been to plenty. Super clean, all new machines, spacious, well-​lit, and tons of machines so no waiting. The owner are super friendly and will show you the best settings on the machines your first time there. Love this place!

Best laundromat experience I’ve had so far! The facility is extremely clean and the are machines great (they all look brand new). Wash and dry offered at good prices. On top of that, the owner Mark is SUPER friendly and helpful! Thanks Mark! Highly recommended.

This place is great — nice and very clean, brand new machines, and a VERY helpful owner who walks you through everything, explains what the different machines use and why you might want to use each one, and keeps you entertained while you wait for your clothes. Free wifi is a huge plus too! Highly recommended!

I have lived here for over 15 years now, this was my go to laundry mat, so you can see how sad I was when I found that it was closed.
A couple month later, they reopened with everything brand new! New washers/​dryers, new tables, and more sitting space. There are 4 sizes of washers available which are a pleasant option to have. I notice that the dryers are doubled panel. which keep the heat in, AND the drum changes rotation every 3 mins, dries out evenly!
There is free wifi, this should be a must, just need to ask the staff on duty.
Someone is always here during business hours, which mean people can’t just walk in and grab your stuff! Security, Security!
$ 0.25 = 3mins.
$ 5.50 = 5 loads
$ 3.00 = 1 top load
$ 4.00 = 1 front load
The only negative I came upon was that I needed to use the 5+ load washer. I am an almost 5ft tall chick. I could not see nor have access to insert the detergent. But Drew was there to help me, he lent me a stool, and recommended how to use the washers/​dryers to its fullest potential. It is not often that I see staff at laundry mats, therefore I felt that Washboard deserves a 5-​stars and a review.

So fresh, bright, and clean! The new dryers dry everything so fast and the washers are reasonably priced! Drew, the owner, always seems to be onsite, so it also feels secure. I’m happy that that it’s reopened, we missed having a laundromat in the neighborhood. Street parking is super easy in the evenings. Sometimes a little tight during the day when Kaiser is busy, but you can sometimes park in the church lot for a few minutes while you unload.

I am SO excited to have a laundromat near my apt again. the past year without one was pretty tough but it was was worth the wait because this place has state of the art everything. I’ve never seen such a clean upgraded laundromat before!

I have always been nervous about bringing my laundry to a laundromat. Most places are dirty, cold, and uninviting. My experience at Washboard Blues was the complete opposite! It was clean, very bright, and had all new machines! I even had an extremely pleasant conversation with the owner who was more than willing to answer any and all of my questions. I can say (without a doubt) that I have found my new go-​to place. It’s definitely worth checking out!

This is by far the nicest laundromat on the Divisadero strip. After being closed for approximately a year, this place has 23 dryers ranging in size and 21 washers. Everything is brand new and it is clean, spacious and bright. Not a lot of people know that this place is open yet so it is mostly quiet (but I’m sure this will change). This is a family owned and operated business with the son, Drew, being particularly friendly. When my roommate and I first came to check the place out, he let us in even though they were about to close and waited for us to finish our wash and dry. It is clear that he is very committed and passionate about this business and pleasing his customers.

What an improvement! Everything is brand new (new washers, dryers, furniture, etc). The owners genuinely want to provide a great service and to be part of the community. There are even have 50 lbs washers for large blankets and comforters! I’m so happy this place is open again and even better than ever.
