His name in Unilocal is Alan «alan» W. I don’t know why he had to created that name. And check out his profile is nothing other than bad mouthing other businesses. He likes to receive 5 stars, but never gave a single one to others. All he gave is just minimum stars possible. More like just go to Unilocal and write complaints about something. My hope is he changed and become better in the future and I may going to delete this review. For now, my friends and family «paused» coming to Kit for their hair make up and being going to other hair dresser who has more genuine heart.

Today’s my first time at Kit, and it was absolutely amazing. He’s quite personable and professional, and takes time to get to know what I want. Definitely will be back. He speaks English too which is a plus. My Chinese is sub-​par but I was able to communicate with him without problem.

This is a long overdue review for Kit. I have been going to him for about 10 years now. He took my hair from blond, to red, and then back to black. There is a mutual understanding between my hair and him that i couldn’t replicate with another stylist.
The previous reviewer was correct in saying that Kit’s reviews are written by his family and friends. After years of trusting him with our appearances + hair, what else can his clients and him become.
My entire family goes to him including my kids. He is really good with both adults and kids hair. Listens and respects what i want to look like.

Kit listens to his clients and is highly professional. You can tell he is skilled at cutting hair by the way he cuts and studies your hair. He makes sure you’ll look good. I have baby fine hair; yet, he still managed to make me look current, and my hair look full. I always come out feeling good when I leave his salon. Isn’t that what a good haircut and stylist are all about?

Kit is the man! He knows exactly what you want and delivers. I would definitely recommend Kit Wong to anyone!

Kit has serious talent for cutting hair! I wasn’t 100% certain about what I wanted to do to spice up my back-​to-​front asymmetrical cut. Kit went a lot shorter than I had intended, but he is so amazing at his craft that I still loved the cut! I was terrified when I heard the sound of the clippers behind my head, but Kit’s technique ended in a really cool shaved look in the back that I never thought I’d like until he spun my chair around to face the mirror. When you examine his lines and textures, it’s clear — this guy really understands the art and technique of hair cuts.

Um, now I’m «fake»?! Seriously, «Kit», that’s so lame. How does that even make sense. I have better things to do than create fabricated reviews. You know’s what is REALLY FAKE? All of the 5 star reviews that are from his friends and family! Who says «he has over 15 years experience blah blah blah» when they are giving a review of someone?! Nobody talks like that! He also harassed me incessantly and even offered to refund my money if I would take down my review. That’s sneaky and I will not be bought. This guy is shady. AVOID!

Today was my first time coming to Kit as I moved to Temple City and would love to find a good salon nearby.
I was really satisfied by his haircut and EVERYone I met simply loved my new hair! :) Thanks a lot Kit, I am definitely going back next year!
Pricewise, it was very reasonable, considering how meticulous he is. He definitely gave his best and I could see it through my new hair.

He cuts to a reasonable length based on how often you get haircuts. I really appreciate Kit’s pure scissor-​cut technique. He does not take shortcuts by using a razor, and pays attention to details ranging from the shape of your head to using the proper type of shampoo.

I’ve been searching for the right hair stylist for many years. Each stylist I went through was like a boss stage in a video game. Finally Unilocaled directed me to Kit a few months back. Kit really knows how to take care of his customers. Feedback is very important to him and it goes a long way. Not many stylist I had before worked with me what I wanted and what is trendy these days. Kit has been my stylist for many years, and I’m very happy with the new location in Temple City. It is fashionably organized, clean and classy; free refreshment is offered. The waiting area is quite comfortable, but I never have to wait long. The Appointment is always on-​time, which is important to me.
He’s talented, genuine, sensitive, and funny; we can talk about anything, and I enjoy the friendship. Tried many stylists before and Kit Wong is definitely the best of them all. He’s a celebrity stylist. Several asian tv stars hired him when they visited the state. He is modest and doesn’t brag about himself. His unassuming attitude is why I drove all the way from OC to see him, and it is well worth it.
If you are in the area, you owe it to yourself to see this amazing stylist. With Unilocal coupons, the service would probably be the best deal in town. Tho I never have to use them, he still charges me the same old price from years ago, the best way to treat his loyal customers!

I have never trusted any hair stylist in the U.S. since I heard too many bad experiences… Kit is originally from Hong Kong, and is the first hair stylist I tried in the U.S. because my friends highly recommended him. Kit asked me, «how would you like your hair cut?» I told kit that, «I want it to look good when I let it down or tie them up. Also, I want it to be short in a way that I can just make a ponytail. Plus, I want it thin.» Kit also gave me a few suggestions that match the current trend~~~ I was totally satisfied with the service, and I will come back for sure! Kit is the only hair stylist I trust in the U. S!!!

I was new to LA and I needed a great place to get my haircut. I thought I would do some research and went to 2 highly known places and in both cases were severely disappointed. I was frustrated and decided to ask a dear friend where to go and her hair always looked immaculate. She told me to go to Kit Wong. I went in and still go to this days. I was completely blown away. Without me telling him what I wanted. He just looked at me and knew EXACTLY the cut I need that would compliment the texture of my hair and my face. I have never gone to anyone else ever since. The price is totally reasonable and the vibe of the new salon is electric. I love it so much that I told all my friends and when my families in LA. They always go to him. I will never go to any other place as long as I m in LA.

I seldom write reviews but when I do its always for a place that truly deserves recognition. Kit has been in the hair scene for years. He paid his dues early in his career at the best hair salons in Beverly hills and I believe that is where he honed his bowl cuts. Kit also does concert shows. Hes a real talented hair stylus and prior to finding Kit I went from place to place. He has been my friend and hair stylus for the past 3 years.
He is excellent with guy and gals you should be confident with him as he is always seeking new techniques and attending seminars to broaden his knowledge on new techniques and products.
