I visited this truck last week on grand ave in DoLA. I saw it in the street a couple of days before and I thought I would give it a shot. They had some pretty cool menu items, I wanted to try the tater tots but they were all out. So I tried the truffle fries and the spicy pork plate. I enjoyed the spicy pork but it was not as spicy as I was going for. The fries were pretty tasty, I was pretty full from the pork, I probably could have done without. I left the extra fries in my desk and ate a couple the next day and they still tasted delicious.

I had this a few months back and it was perhaps the worst food I ever had from a food truck. It tasted so bad that I had to dump it to trash, which is something I rarely do. The meal was an eel with rice, something simple but cost alot and taste horrible. I never got around to write the review at the time but I still remember freshly in my mind how bad it was that I am writing this review months after it happened

25 minute wait for Teriyaki Chicken. The plate had an odd smell to it. Teriyaki sauce was odd and fishy? Chicken was fatty and unappetizing. I ate a couple bites and threw the rest away. Stay away.

A must-go Japanese food truck run by Hong Kong people. They come to Ocean Park Ave/31th St in Santa Monica every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch time.

The worst food I’ve ever had. Also the longest wait for food. We took one bite of the Yaki udon and had to spit it back out. I think there was something like mayo placed in between the meat and the noodles? Just please heed the warning if you do want to try this place out do not eat the Yaki udon.

They stopped in DTLA on Grand and I just had their yakisoba with spicy pork. Wow it was good! The wait was longer than I expected but well worth it. Great flavors and generous portion.

This truck is new to the USC area. I ordered the EELPLATE, im not sure why because im not a big fan of eel, once I realized what I had just ordered it was too late to cancell. I also ordered the Cajun fries and and they gave me a sample of the egg rolls. To my surprise, the eel tasted pretty good and had lots of flavor, it was soft and the sauce was good. The cajun fries are the best !! spicy and lots of flavor. The egg rolls had a different twist, instead of the traditional vegetable they had something like maybe thick mashed pototoe consistency, not sure what it was but they had a good taste. The only thing i hope they change is the food pictures on the outside of the truck, some of the items on the pictures dont look to appettizing.

I love food trucks!!! The noir is new to the food truck business. Very friendly guys inside. We caught them after leaving T-bay and wanted to try it out. I believe they’re always parked in front of the supermarket. I got the haha shrimp stuffed in squid ink bread and Cajun fries. It was delicious and the bread was soft and chewy. Very unique taste. The Cajun fries were crispy and cooked perfectly, the seasoning was delicious. Wish they were open after a night of drinking. It would be perfect for late night food runs!

The sign claimed the special was the squid ink sandwich, but we couldn’t find the price for it on the menu. Just a lot of seaweed covered sandwiches on the menu. Puzzling! Turns out ALL the sandwiches are squid ink. This truck specializes in squid ink bread. Facepam. Poor execution. Anyway, got the Go Ham and Cheese as recommended(since the tuna wasabi ran out). It was cooked fairly well. The flavor wasn’t as unique as you would think for a location called: The Noir. Barely noticed the crab inside. The boif went as far as saying he could duplicate it at home. but I disgress. The cook on the egg was quite nommy. All in all, not bad. A OK. I’m gonna come back and try the other things these other random 5 star Unilocalers highly recommend. You’ll hear back from me soon.

I had the Ham and Cheese with Egg sandwich. I shared it with a friend and we both agreed that we had to return. The sandwich was delicious and the people were very friendly. If you see this food truck in your neighborhood, I recommend you get their food. YUM!!!
