I discovered Tian Na a week or two ago and I’m so happy I did! Last week I got a manicure done with Apple and today I got a facial with Michelle. I had never gotten a facial before up until today and it was such a great experience! It was a great place to go for my first time. I felt so relaxed and pampered. Michelle also cleaned up my eyebrows a bit which I wasn’t expecting. It might have been a part of the package I purchased but I’m not sure since their facial services are listed in Chinese. Speaking of which, the staff is not very fluent in English but don’t let that scare you away. They did a great job. They offer many other services as well and i can’t wait to try them. The only reason why I took a star off is because it’s a little irritating how the ladies at the front desk try to sell everything to you. But if you just stand your ground and ignore all the sales pitches they throw at you, you’ll be fine.

They recently remodeled a while ago. Raina no longer works here. Owner/manager might push you to buy membership. It’s an okay place to get your nails done. They use nice quality Japanese gel nail polish but it’s a bit pricy.

Mom and daughter nail day with dad getting a massage. Quiet on a Tuesday afternoon with 2 manicurists working. Professional, meticulous.

It was ok. I had a deep tissue massage for 1 hour and with the 50% off Unilocal deal it was $ 79+ tip. I would say it was a bit pricey for what it was. It was not the usual relaxing deep tissue which is ok, but the massage therapist was all over the place as far as massage goes. I feel that for the price it was not worth it.

my experience here could not haven been more amazing until the very end, so let me walk you through my day here. oh and if you don’t want to read this, know that if you have a living social/groupon deal, youre only entitled to the lowest grade of gel polish so dont be surprised when it falls off after a week. And they treat you very differently when they know you have a deal. I called a couple days early to make an appointment and informed them I had a living social deal. they took my number and name and everything went great. I got here right on time, the receptionist checked me in and they started on my mani right away. I have been on a mission to find the perfect nail salon in sgv since i’m not from the area and thought i have found just the place. this salon is so clean, new, friendly, and their nail artists are so so so talented. they really take their time and the attention to detail here blew me away. and no loud middle age ladies yelling/chatting with eachother, everyone is soft spoken. my whole mani and pedi took 3 hrs and dare I say this was THEBEST nail spa experience I have EVER had. until i went to pay. When i got to the front desk to pay and took out my living social deal, everything changed. the receptionist was there as well as the owner of the place. the first thing the owner said after finding out I’m trying to use the deal was ‘oh, can you just pay the difference then?’ My bill was $ 90 and she was trying to make me pay the rest that wasn’t covered with the deal. um, i dont think so. The deal is a deal for a reason, if i just pay you the difference then what’s the point of my buying the deal? at the very least you should cover the services promised on the deal. I told her I was not going to just pay the difference and she got allll kinds of attitude after that. ‘oh you were supposed to give us the voucher number’ um, excuse me? it says on the computer screen under my name ‘living social’. if your front desk failed to inform the one doing my nail, then it’s not my responsibility. Then she starts this whole ‘ok so you get $ 20 off your mani and.$ 20 off you pedi???” then she goes on to inform me that they used the best quality gel with me and the living social deal is only entitled to the lowest quality. again, um how’s that my responsibility. at then end I was so fed up with this place’s attitude, I decided to just pay the $ 41(however they came up with that number) and got out of there. total with the living social deal i paid $ 70+tips. I will say I am really sad i will never return to this place because they were SO amazing with my nails but if the owner of the place handles a mistake from one of her employees not by an apology but by trying to make me pay the difference and the cost of the mistake, then I don’t want to be a repeat customer of this kind of business. I feel really bad for Angel, the girl who did my nails because she was amazing and I felt like she probably got in trouble for the mix up along with the receptionist. If the owner ever reads this: when you offer a deal online, do not EVER tell the customer they are only entitled to the lowest quality of work and don’t treat customers differently just because they have the deal. I agree, a lot of people buy the deal to save money, but a lot of us buy to try you out for the first time. While your employee’s service blew me away and made me seriously consider getting a $ 500 membership card with you, your attitude when you faced a mix up made me never want to return again.

located at the popular super market off of del mar. Hidden on the second flood where all the facialist is located hides this Nail salon. Very clean with massaging chairs and friendly owner. I found this little spot via living social and got a pretty good deal– its usually about $ 60 just to get gel nails done but because of living social i was able to get a great back massage and very detailed work done by the manicurist. They also do lashes but not sure how great it is .nail job is def a A plus!

My girlfriends and I came here for a livingsocial deal to checkout a new nail spa. We came here to get gel nails and pedicure for our 10 day trip hoping to having polish stay on for the duration of the trip. The technician said gel nails stay on for 3WEEKS. GREAT! Boy were we surprised when the nail polish started peeling off after 2 days. For all of us… Wth??? Another thing is that they don’t cut the cuticles very well and the Polish job is very messy. Would not Come back to this place. Stay away.

My friend and I were looking for a place to get a mani/pedi and saw a living social deal for Tian Na Spa and decided to give it a try. Boy do I regret it. We had an appointment at 2pm but our pedicure didn’t start until 2:30pm. You can blame this on poor planning and scheduling on their part. At first I didn’t mind because I understand these things can happen and it’s possible that they are just trying to take their time and do a quality job. Sadly, it doesn’t end there. During my pedicure another customer comes in and says they had an appointment at 3pm. Carrie, the lady who was doing my pedicure starts to wrap up what she was doing and told me I have to wait for my nails to dry. At first I thought she meant she won’t move me to the manicure station because my toe nails needed to dry. I ended up sitting there for 45 minutes watching Carrie attend to another customer whos’ appointment was after me. Not only did I feel disrespected, she didn’t even do my nails correctly!!! I asked for a French tip with clear/translucent glitter. She gave me a French tip with silver glitter. Winnie was the one who ended up doing my manicure which I am grateful for because she was the only one who seemed to care about customer service. I didn’t sit down to do my manicure until after 3:30pm. She was very tentative and it is the only reason why I am giving this place two stars. During this horrible experience I did not complain or throw a fit because I am not the type of person to do those kinds of things. However, you can bet that I will never go back there ever again even if it was free.

Emma is great! Came here with a living social deal to try it out because I’ve never heard of the place and for the price I paid, the quality was excellent. Had a gel mani and regular pedi and the colors turned out vibrant & still looks good after 1.5 weeks! I believe their regular gel nail manicures are $ 29 which is a little bit more than the surrounding places but is certainly a very reasonable price still. Definitely will be coming back here in the future!

Beautiful salon, and even better nails! I went in with a Living Social Deal, and got the best gel Manicure I’ve ever had. the edges are nice and thin, and the color perfectly even. Carrie did wonders for my fingers and toes! Pro tip: it’s not the easiest place to find. they are on the top floor by the Veggie Palace in the 99 Ranch shopping center…

4 stars for the facility, clean and new massage chairs. Didn’t expect to have a sauna & steam room there, along with a couple massage room. I purchased a groupon for mani/pedi. The overall mani/pedi was ok, didnt get any soothing massages on my calves and hands like other places I go to. All the staff members are very courteous and accommodating. Maybe will come back again to try their massages.

How come no one has found this great place yet?! I made an appointment day of and came in today with a groupon for $ 20 mani/pedi(valued at $ 45). The place is super new, clean, comfy massage chairs, spacious, and really friendly manicurist. None of those yapping Vietnamese women, trust me, I’m Vietnamese and 90% of the time, their talking about their customers. Along with the manicure and pedicure, two women will give you a very nice and relaxing massage on your hands, arms, legs, and feet. It actually felt better than the foot massage I got last night! All in all, I really like this place and will return soon. Thanks Tian Na!
