The front girls are great. Always greeting with a smile. The pharmacy hustles and there’s a lot that goes on back there so please be patient and kind to them. :)

I usually get decent customer service, but this evening was different. When I got inside there was some mopping going on. I went over towards the ice cream where Ashley decided to tell me that they were mopping. I wasn’t sure why she was telling me that so I went to look at the ice cream. Ashley asked me if I wanted to go look for other things in the store because the floor behind the ice cream area was wet. I explained to her that I was only there for ice cream. Again she told me the floor was wet. I told her ok and then she started complaining to her associates that she should be able to close down the ice cream area early. This complaining went on for a while. I asked her«is it that big of an issue?» she replied she just mopped and continued huffing and puffing. I was inclined to leave, but then I remember that I am a customer. She was extremely inappropriate. I don’t think I will return because I don’t want to feel like a burden.

I love this place! Always greeted by friendly faces, always helpful, Walgreens is across the street but the vibe there isnt as nice as it is at Rite Aid, for a drug store anyway.

San Jacinto and Hemet are the poor man’s Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Driving through San Jacinto and Hemet, all you see is medical buildings, doctors, hospitals, scooter/walker supplies, etc. The only people who live here are retired seniors and those who serve retired seniors. Take Rite Aid for example. It is right across the street from Walgreens. Both are brand new in this strip mall area on State street, near Stater Brothers groceries. This Rite Aid is pretty large, and very clean. There are hardly any customers. Large aisle of Depends adult diaper pads, and Ensure vitamin drinks. There was even a mobility scooter for sale, $ 899. I came in to get some vitamins that I had run out. When I had picked them out and walk toward the counter, two young women asked me, are you ready? I had to choose who would ring me up. I noticed this Rite Aid serves Ice Cream by the scoop just like all the other Rite Aids. It used to be $ 1 per scoop! Now it is raised to $ 1.19 per scoop! That is a 19 percent increase! Hey, these seniors are on a fixed income with at best COLA increases from SSA. A 19% increase in Ice Cream prices in one year is almost as high as health care costs and prescription drug increases! Give them a break!

Came here because they had a sell on beer. I was lucky because there were 2 cases left. So I snag it up. I had to hurry home so I can watch the Dodger game. Overall, this is fairly brand new so its still clean. The employees do not look like they are the sharpest knife in the drawer. But I guess if you can operate a register they will hire you. 2 stars because I bought beer that was a month old from the better beer date expiration.
