I moved into this apartment in November, when the management said that all amenities are close to being completed and will mostly be done early december. The date then changed to end of december, and then to January and now its the end of feb. The response from the management has been the same for the past 3 months that they have been trying and working hard to get permits and speed things up. Whatever the reason might be for delay in permits, when I am paying rent for a luxury style living community, the least I would expect is a provision of some form of alternate options for a gym/pool etc from the management and periodic updates as to what the current status is(without having to keep waiting and constantly go to the office and check with them and hear the exact same thing every time).

Rude staff. They have a feeling that the residents would move here no matter what because of the prices they have the apartments for. The management would charge an extra deposit of $ 400 even if we want to move to a different apartment in 251 Brandon. I was about to move in but did not move only because of the rude staff.

Brand new apartment community in North San Jose. It’s plenty of new place in the neighborhood but what makes the difference are people. From the moment I walked through the door of leasing office I felt welcomed. The atmosphere generated by staff make 251 Brandon a pleasant living environment. Lam was awesome. He was helpful with the entire process as I moved to San Jose. I would recommend 251 Brandon to anyone.

It has been a month since I wrote my last review. Pool/clubroom/gym still remain closed. Residents still don’t have their own mailbox while paying $ 3000+ rent per month. Management keeps giving excuses over excuses for the delay, with no incentives for the residents whatsoever. How can all neighboring communities manage to pass city checks on time but not 251 Brandon? Hugely disappointed. The community itself is very pretty and can be a great place to live in, if only the management treated the residents better and gave them some reason to be happy about living at 251 Brandon.

Pros: The community is in very prime location and they are offering good concession right now. The management is very friendly and accommodating. Initially we showed up with appointment and were greeted nicely. We did later visits without appointments but the experience didn’t change. Tasha(leasing consultant) was very friendly and found time to help us. The community nicely located near huge newly constructed park. Cons: — This community seems to be suffering from some bad reviews from earlier on. Things seem to have changed. — All amenities are fully constructed and open except swimming pool area. Manager Jake, took time to explain us the delay. The delay is due to pending safety checks with city. They hope to have it open in few weeks.

theft in parking lot just within 3weeks of moving in to this Apartment. No security camera installed in parking lot. multiple car breaking in a 1 night. Car door glasses are broken to steal. It’s a gated community but parking/garage gate is not working. Not sure whether any Security camera will be installed in near future. It’s a newly built community but not a secure place.

We’re in town for a week searching for lease options in San Jose. Brandon 251 was the second out of six apartment communities we looked at. The apartment unit and community(still in construction) exceeded our expectations. However, the location we felt was poor for our needs. With that said, they built a beautiful park with tennis courts and lots of green space, which we loved. Additionally, they had an awesome special of two months free. We definitely recommend taking the time to take a look!
