If I could give this a ZERO rating I would. Dogs get fed better and bathed better in a kennel than your elderly loved one will get taken care of here. I have to say… they put a lot of effort into their brochure touting assistance with bathing and hygeine as well as «3 enticing, nutritious daily meals» plus a «full calendar of social activities»…LOLYEAHRIGHT! ONLYPLACEYOURLOVEDONEHEREIFYOUCONSIDER A. 3 frozen chicken nuggets with 7 frozen steak fries or thin spread tuna on white bread with again 7 frozen steak fries or Top Ramen… nutricous my hind end! EVERYTHINGISFROZENORPROCESSEDNOTHINGFRESH… YUCK! B. Our loved one didn’t like to bathe so when it came to shower time, they asked if it was refused they didn’t bother to insist or encourage. C. Once we told them they had to insist on showering. One half of the head was getting shampooed. the other half was greasy. D. Activities… WHATACTIVITIES? Television stations with Filipino speaking actors? Gimme a break! E. Care staff, ENGLISH is not their first language and disregard instructions. Depression is in the air the moment you walk into the place with residents and staff. Everyone knows nutrition is critical to maintaining physical and mental well being, and hygiene is critical for keeping away UTI, celulitis and bed sores for the elderly, but they Dont give a hoot here. If you care about your loved one DONOT move them in. If you have a family member here get the name of the Ombudsman — this is a state appointed person you direct your complaints to. They will come out and investigate! Please leave feedback here as well AFTER you have moved your loved one out!
