I got my wedding ao daïs made here. This is a small, in home business run by a Vietnamese woman. I believe that my mom originally found her information through a Vietnamese newspaper. Anyway, the one key difference about this place is that you are measured for your ao dai, and then it’s made in Vietnam and shipped over here. There is a lag time of 6+ weeks to get your ao dai. The shop does not carry a huge assortment of printed fabric as compared to other ao dai shops, but they do carry a lot of swatches of fabric if you are looking for solid color ones. They can also pretty much replicate any ao dai you want if you bring in pictures. I brought in pictures of bridal ao daïs that I wanted and they were able to replicate anything that I wanted. One cool thing is that you can also do custom beading and designs here. The cost here is not necessarily cheaper than any other ao dai shop, a fully customized ao dai can definitely cost you 200+. I thought my experience here was good. This is the place for you if you’re not super picky, not in a rush, and have an idea of what you want. Once your dress arrives, the woman will do any alternations needed on the spot. She doesn’t speak a lot of English so definitely come with someone fluent in Vietnamese. Call ahead, appointments only.
