Christine left so I am not going to this salon anymore, I haven’t used anyone else there, so I am leaving three stars for an average rating, the place was clean and the front desk person was usually very nice, and they do offer a lot of services, but I left when my stylist did.

Irene Irene Irene!!! She is AMAZING! I’ve been going to Irene for a couple years now and she does it right EVERY time! I would not trust anyone else but her with my hair. She goes above and beyond and will never let you leave until it’s perfect!

Just wanted to say again how happy I still with every haircut I get from Carlos. He can make my hair naturally curl better than I ever can. Always a great cut!

A very long over-​due review that I have been meaning to write! 5 stars for my girl Irene! I have extremely thick and corse hair that I think automatically gives me the right to feel protective of my mane. On that note, after my share is mishaps, I now only trust Irene with my hair. She always is willing to work with what I want, and suggest what she feels would be a good look. Trust me when I say this, she knows what she is doing! Prices are reasonable as you are definitely paying for expertise and satisfaction with your end result. I personally go to Irene for cut and color, and I have not been let down by her. In fact, after having my hair poorly chopped by another stylist, she managed to bring life back to my hair. In addition to her expertise, Irene is such an absolute sweetheart. Her warm, friendly, and caring nature as made me one of her loyal customers, for sure! Take my word for it! She’s a gem!

Been going to Ari for the last couple of years, and love coming here. She does a great job on my hair and I always receive compliements on my color for weeks. I definitely recommemd her, she gives you what you and makes the best recommendations if you dont have a clue what to do.

Talk about getting your hair did! These people do hair right. The price is about right for all that they do. Carlos or Cesar are two of the greatest stylists there!

I went there for facial. BAd quality. she did not do steaming/​exfoliation or anything. I hated the facial. not even worth the discount on groupon. Go to other spa if you need facial.

Wow what rude people. They don’t even bother trying to greet you when you walk in and you can forget about even trying to use the Unilocal offer.

I loved my facial by Ana on ⁷⁄₁₄!
I purchased the Groupon deal and I gave Avalon a try. Ana used products that worked with my skin type. I have cystic acne and a small flare up. Ana used products that would not cause my face to act up.
I enjoyed my facial, my skin looks great, and the huge pimple that looked bad before I got there looks much better this morning.
If you happen to run across a 3 package deal take it. It’s so worth it. Lastly, remember to tip your service for the full value.

Second time going to this Salon! First time I went for a meni/​pedi, Ana (Anahit) was very pleasant and did a great job on my nails. I had made an appt for a facial and massage she is wonderful, felt refreshed and definitely less tense on my shoulder. Highly recommend her facials, she seems knowledgeable about skincare.

NEVER GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE! Besides doing a terrible job and being slow this woman is dishonest.

Christine has been cutting my hair for 15+ years. I’ve gone to other salons in San Francisco who are Vidal Sassoon trained and she is 100 x better. She truly listens to what you want and takes her time.

Been coming to Ariana Ogas for over 15 years. She knows her highlights and colors.

I love the fact that everybody specialize in different profession there. You have hair stylists, facials, nail tech and a waxer, you can get all the services you need in one day, Awesome! I will definitely recommend.

I came to Avalon to see Christine for a haircut. I’m not one to get excited about haircuts (my hair is pretty impossible), but I thought Christine did a wonderful job. And she’s interesting to talk to, too.

My stylist is Kay. She did my wedding hair oh-​so-​many years ago, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. She’s current on styles & coloring techniques. I still get lots of compliments on my cuts & color, this for a person with really extra-​fine straight hair. Until my daughters moved away, she also did their hair (a couple of 20-​somethings). I get reminder calls on my appointments, which is great. A friendly salon that’s easy to get to.

I have been having my hair cut by Christine for about 15 years, I don’t like getting my hair cut by someone I don’t know. Christine is a wonderful professional and she gives me a scalp massage when she’s washing my hair which feels great! I am so glad I found her!

I have been getting my hair cut by Kay for 6 years now. She is very nice, easy to talk to and does a great job with my hair. I’m one of those crazy people that have an image in mind and when it comes to me telling her what I want, all I bet she hears is blah blah blah (because I have such a hard time really communicating what I want) and then BAM! She actually does what I am thinking — color and cut!

My hair stylist, Debbie Dreger, is an excellent stylist! I’ve been going to her for too many years to count. Debbie keeps abreast of all the styles and trends and makes sure I don’t ask for something that won’t be flattering for my skin color and body type! Folks always compliment me on my hair color and that’s due to Debbie’s help.
The other hair stylists here are great as well. Chaz, the owner, is a real delight! He is friendly, professional and funny.
The salon also offers skin care and manicures as well. Checks and cash are accepted only for all services and product purchases. The only downside to this place is the parking especially since a new housing development opened up next door. Otherwise, go here to be pampered!
