I’ve been able to rely on Brooke to cut my hair for years. I got tired of going to chain salons and run of the mill locations around the corner. I couldn’t stand having my hair grow out like a bush in 2 weeks time. Brooke takes the time to understand my hair type and give you a cut that fits my lifestyle. On top of that she’s also a great listener!

Brooke has literally transformed my hair. I HAVE to color my hair every 2 weeks, I started going completely grey at 20, do you know how hard that is? It’s not that pretty silver grey either. It’s that hard to cover, awful wirey, thick, dry grey. Brooke changed my life. She fits me in her schedule… ready for this??? EVERY 2 WEEKS. The woman is my savior. There were so many salons to choose from when I first moved here from Fremont, I live right next to Lincoln, and it was totally overwhelming. She had so many great reviews on Unilocal,I knew I had to try her. 3 years later, and I have never looked back, I will never leave you Brooke, I have seen you transform other client’s hair, from curly to purple to men, kids, extensions… you literally can do it all. You are the BEST!!!

Where do I even begin with Brooke? I met her four years ago when I moved to the bay area for college and needed a new stylist. I couldn’t have been more fortunate to find her! She has been doing an incredible job on my hair for years and has become a good friend. In a stylist it’s not only important to be happy with your hair, but also feel comfortable hanging out with them for hours, and Brooke does both perfectly. This past month I was privileged enough to have my hair cut, colored and done up by her for my wedding, and she styled my bridesmaids’ hair as well. Brooke is the only person I trust to cut my hair! When I moved to the Bay Area from NYC, I spent a ridiculous amount of time and money trying to find a reliable hair stylist. I tried all the popular and expensive salons in SF, and was always disappointed with the mediocre results. After over two years of searching, I decided to take my chances with someone in the South Bay and found Brooke. Although our first appointment together was over three years ago, I still remember how impressed I was. She actually took the time BEFORE the cut to understand what I wanted. We discussed my vision and she provided thoughtful follow up questions and provided her thoughts based on my hair type. It was so refreshing to have an actual discussion instead of just getting a «yeah I got it.» The results were great and continued to be so each time I went back. You rock Brooke!

I’m very picky about who touches my hair. I think in my 23 years of living I’ve only had 5 people handle my hair. I can say with confidence that I trust Brooke fully and am very happy with her work. I always leave her salon feeling pretty and receive many comments on my hairstyle and my hair color. I will definitely will continue to go her and will be spreading the word about her work!

I’ve been going to a different hairstylist for over 10 years. As of late I felt like the hair cuts were not coming out the way I wanted to. Moreover it was really difficult to get an appointment that was convenient for me. I have really long straight dark brown hair and I love my hair very much. It’s hard for me to trust stylists with my hair!
After seeing on my friend’s fb some info on Brooke, I thought I’d give her a try. I am never ever ever ever going back to my old stylist!!! She cut my hair EXACTLY how I wanted! I asked her to keep the length (it goes down to the top of my pants) but I wanted my hair to have volume and thickness at the same time and for the layers to be long enough to go Into a ponytail for when I go to the gym. She did exactly all those things.
My hair looked soo good when she was done with it, it seriously looked like it had to be fake because it was perfect. Now my niece can’t wait for her haircut with Brooke either.

I love Brooke! I’m so happy she decide to do what was right for her and found a new spot that fits her. Her new spot is cozy and inviting. There is plenty of parking and it’s easy to find.
I’ve been going to Brooke for about 9 years now. I’ve never been disappointed with her work and I pretty much give her free range on my hair. For 6 years or so we were changing my look up almost every time I saw her. For the past 2 years I’ve stopped dying my hair that didn’t stop her creativity at all and my hair always comes out looking fresh.
I’m mixed, my hair is thick and curly. I love going to Brooke because she treats my hair right and knows how to work with it. She also teaches you how to take care of your hair, so you don’t damage it. I always leave her salon looking amazing and feeling confident.

I started seeing Brooke when she worked at a Salon I had been going to and jumping between stylists., but after Brooke took me under her wing I was hooked! When she opened her own salon in Campbell, I was stoked for her and dutifully followed her to the new location. Friends asked me for the number of the person who did my hair, and I made the recommendations without reservation. Fast forward several years, and I moved up to Sacramento for nursing school. I tried out a few places in Sacramento with less than favorable results, and always ended up making the two hour drive back to the Bay Area to visit Brooke to fix the mess. When you find a gem like Brooke, you stick with her. Brooke is great at cuts and has a really good eye for color; I never had to tell Brooke what to do, I just let her do what she thought would look good and she was always right!!! But if you give her a photo or describe something specific, she’ll take the time to understand what you are asking for and make sure you’re on the same page. On top of her ability, she’s got a relaxed and open personality and is a pleasure to spend a couple hours catching up with while primping. Oh, and she’s fast! My schedule isn’t as open so I’ve had to give up my trips to the Bay Area for my touch-​ups and it sucks. I can’t believe how long my appointments take compared to the amount of time it took at Avenue B. I’m forced to settle for distant runners-​up with my cut and color needs, and while I’ve found someone up here who doesn’t make me want to wear a bag over my head after every salon visit, I still find myself thinking, «man I miss Brooke!!!»
