Heard about this place from my fiancé. Thought I should try it myself. I got the bagel sandwich with egg and chicken sausage. Haven’t had a great bagel sandwich in a long time. I’ve been in a couple of times now and plan to keep on coming here.

As a bagel sandwich connoisseur, this is hands down the Best bagel sandwich I’ve had in Silicon Valley. Pick the way you want ur eggs done too? SOLD! Cragels are real good here too. Don’t go anywhere else if this is an option, you won’t be disappointed.

I’m new to San Jose area, so I’ve been trying out new places. The breakfast bagel was good. I ordered half a dozen bagels and I was very unhappy with the flavor. I bought a nutella cragel and a sticky caramel bun those were good.

I was jazzed to check this place out, but was kind of disappointed. Given– I went in asking for a gluten free bagel. I knew options would be limited. I went in thinking I’d do some computer work while there… but the place is small and not a great atmosphere for that. That and the lack of fancy coffees made me end up at the Starbucks around the corner. I know GF has its issues, but I ordered a veggie sandwich. I was kind of surprised I was charged the full cost of the bagel for subbing bread, instead of just an upgrade fee or something… and I was also pretty disappointed in the sandwich. I couldn’t really taste the pesto sauce. It was messy, the bell peppers dripped and fell off, and generally it was kind of dry. Points for OFFERINGGF bagels, but. not worth going out of the way for.

If I ever start a restaurant, I want the kids menu to be MORE expensive. This place was crawling with them… We ordered a breakfast bagel, fried egg, jack cheese crispy bacon and hash browns on an everything bagel. People rave about their breakfast bagels, but for me it was better than average, but no NYC bagel. I did love the Nutella cradle served with Strawberry cream cheese on the side, I had asked for it heated, but it was not noticeably warm. However it was quite good. I loved their selection of sodas, very unique. Thee serve fresh OJ here, I wish it had been COLD, not room temp. Service was quicker than expected.

I needed some pastries for work this morning and when I got to Dick’s it was closed due to a fire… not having much time. i found the Bagel guy close by. i grabbed a box of pastries and then I noticed he jalepeno crogul. I mean there is a cronut and then there is a crogul. Now im the kind of girl that puts topics at the bottom of the cup and top of the cup so I can get my oppings right till thevery end… this crogul seems to do that. every bite had cheese and jalepeno. It was soft and buttery and crunchy all at the same time. Im sure the nutella one is heavenly… ill drive back here just for this. Friendly staff, quick service, and good coffee

Recently tried this place and have been here almost every week since then. It does get a bit pricey if you build the bagel sandwich but still worth it for me! I usually get the cheese or everything bagel with eggs, bacon, and cheese, or the jalapeño cragel with cream cheese, depending on what I’m in the mood for.

This place was ok… For being in a better side of town the quality was no bueno. I asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese and I got a slightly warmed bagel with watery cream cheese. I must admit… I am a FAN of bagel houses, this one can use some help, has potential but need to step their game up!

What a great find! I can’t seem to get enough of their jalapeño Cragel! Buttery, creamy, cheesy and perfect union of a croissant and bagel… ah! I want more of these and I will be back for more. I was in the neighborhood and just ran into this place by accident, ordered a jalapeño Cragel and the Nutella one and couldn’t wait to post a review. There is more to this post once I have tried the Nutella one and the owner I think was super sweet and offered us a jalapeño bagel to try, the bagel seems soft to touch and not like the usual dense bagel. This review is incomplete… More to come! But, the jalapeño Cragel is a must try!

The coolest thing about the Bagel Guys is that you can choose how you want your eggs prepared on your breakfast sandwich. The second coolest thing is that they’ll slap a HASHBROWN patty on top; mind-blowing! The EVERYTHING bagel is damn good, mostly because there are no fennel seeds and there’s salt on it. The CREAMCHEESE here is totally lacking. It seeps into the bagel and is melted away by the time you unwrap the paper. That’s pretty lame. The first time I came here, I ordered the LOX sandwich which came with tomatoes and basil. I would never have paired these together, but it was a lovely twist. The second time, I had a BREAKFASTBAGEL with scrambled eggs, pepper jack cheese, bacon, and hash brown. The cheese perfectly melted, the bacon thick and delicious, and the eggs fluffy. The hash brown on top was game changing and a total treat. They were out of the everything bagel, so I had it on an onion bagel which was alright. The bagels themselves aren’t my favorite, but they’re better than Noah’s.

These guys, gals too, know how to do bagels. And fill them with delicious stuff. Maybe a bit much if your sensibilities are of the delicate variety. But if not, have the BLT on the cheddar jalapeño cragel. #thankmelater Pass on Noah’s. Pass on the others. Bagel Guys is the only option so far as I’m concerned.

Props to Bagel Guys for offering a gluten free bagel, making it possible for my wife and I to enjoy a casual breakfast together. Unfortunately, BG’s seems to have outgrown itself already. In a sleepy corner of Willow Glen, the neighborhood seems to head here on a Saturday/Sunday, making it crowded quickly. With what looks like only 1 toaster, the staff gets backed up quickly, leaving you waiting 10 – 20 minutes for 2 toasted bagels. Another note about their 1 toaster. Offering a gluten free bagel is great. But if you are running all of your products through the same toaster and allowing them to pile up on each other, you have effectively lost the point. Luckily the wife’s intolerance is relatively mild, but others could be adversely affected by this practice. Their breakfast sandwiches are actually really good, with fresh eggs, but after the likley add ons, you’re walking out with an 8 $ breakfast sandwich. A little steep for me. sidenote: BG is blowing it by not investing in an espresso machine. Waiting in line here and Starbucks is pretty silly.

Lox bagel: on a jalapeño bagel. Not the best lox I’ve had, but it was good and comparable. Loved that it had basil and no onions. Nutella cragel: Warm it up at home and let the nutella ooooze out. Loved this! Jalapeño cheddar cragel: When I think jalapeño, I think mild. This was not mild. Had a great spice to it! Again, warm it up before eating. Lots of parking. Located in the Starbucks plaza. They take card. Not much seating indoor, but they do have outdoor seating. Clean!!! Friendly service & they’re quick.

Large and delicious bagels. Friendly and easy atmosphere. Definitely a great spot. I had to scramble for breakfast for my work and they easily handled my order of 30+ sliced bagels within 5 minutes.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The Basil BLT is the tastiest BLT I’ve ever had and EVERYTHING here always tastes so fresh! I buy their cream cheese, by the(small) tub, and stock up on their bagels. Never disappoints! I’m not a HUGE fan of the cragels because they tend to be a bit too tough to chew, but I do enjoy the other pastries. The fruit in the fruit bowls always looks amazing and they have a few varieties. Really, all you need to know is everything here is always tasty and freshly made :)

Bagel Guys was definitely delicious. It’s a cute mom and pop shop with a modern and simplistic décor. Their bagels are definitely fresh and the right consistency. We ordered a few things to have a good overview on the quality and taste. The Bagel Guy with bacon on jalapeño: delish! The scrambled egg was hot and fresh and the bacon was cooked perfectly. Lox on jalapeño: they definitely don’t skimp on the lox. I like their addition of basil because it definitely brought out the flavors and basil is just refreshing. BLT with basil on onion: as much as I LOVE lox, this would probably be my favorite of the three. It was a light and fresh combination that just paired well with their bagels I also got a Nutella cragel, but have yet to try it. Will update once it’s been consumed! The only thing that can probably improve my experience was the hospitality of the employees here. They were nice, but too quiet. I feel like this place needs a great personality of a person, someone engaging and personable. But overall, it was a great experience!

Cragel. Came here for the hype and left so sad and unsatisfied. I agree with the other reviewers. Something about the nutella cragel is dry… Even when I asked for it be heated it came out quite bland. The nutella flavor didn’t come through and it just became quite bready. I will possibly come back to try their bagel sandwiches though.

Wanted a chocolate chip bagel. Got a nutella CRAGEL instead! It’s a mix of a croissant and a bagel, hence the name. First time every seeing one of those. It’s pretty unique and definitely a lot better than a cronut. It was not too sweet, tasted like a chocolate chip bagel, and had the somewhat flakey texture of a croissaint and the thickness of a bagel combined. not sure how to explain that. It had some powdered sugar on top of it as well. My boyfriend got one of their bagels with meat. He got bacon, sausage, and egg on a garlic bagel. It was really good and seemed like a healthier version of the one at City Bagels minus the greasiness from the butter on the croissant. They offer sandwiches and other pastries as well. Lunch is only served after 11am! Stop by if you wanna try something a little different than your typical bagel!

I was so excited to see gluten free bagels available at this shop! Finally! I was excited to try it, but was a little disappointed in the taste. I am hoping that it will get better over time. I look forward to that day! I ordered a gluten free bagel and a side of white egg whites. I spent almost $ 6 and I’m not sure that was worth it. I could have bought an entire bag of Udi’s gluten free bagels for that same price, and perhaps cream cheese too. Then again, coffee can sometimes be $ 3 – 4 a cup and people hardly blink at that price tag. I am not sure it’s fair to compare pricing for these items. People are addicted to coffee.

Noelle’s Unilocal Notebook 2015 Bagel Guys Bakery is still my favorite spot to pick up bagels and bakery items in the 95125. I remember meeting the two owners of this establishment when they first opened nearly ten months ago– really nice guys :) Came here today and picked up two morning buns and two sesame seed bagels. I inquired with the girl behind the counter as to where they get their bagels and morning buns and she said they get them delivered from ‘House of Bagels’ in San Francisco. I knew the bagels and morning buns tasted familiar as they are coming from the original House of Bagels in the City, meaning they get the dough from HOB, steam them and bake these delicious bagels on site. Arrived early and there was one person ahead of me, the girl behind the counter and Eric(I believe it was him, one of the owners sitting down reading the paper). The shop is clean and well organized. The display case of bakery items are delicious and tempting. The different variety of bagels are in wire bins behind the counter just waiting to be taken home. Great bagels, awesome bakery items and decent customer service make this a favorite in my Unilocal Notebook!!! Noelle’s Notes Fantastic bagels Great morning buns Skip the cragel Get the frequent buyer card
