Bon Petits

I had tasted Joanne’s cupcakes at a wedding that I attended and loved the presentation. They were beautifully decorated. Joanne was easy to work with, I told her what I was looking for in colors and decoration and she gave me plenty of examples. The bridal shower cupcakes were a hit and my guess love them.

My first ever Unilocal review goes to Joanne at Bön Petits for her above-​and-​beyond professionalism and amazingly delicious mini cupcakes.
Professionalism: We reached out to Bön Petits a few years back to cater the baked goods for our high school reunion. Working with Joanne was easy and seamless as she made sure all the details were communicated well in advance. She checked back with us every so often to confirm all the logistics, and she was super nice and flexible when when we had to adjust the order on her last minute. The night of the event, Joanne was early to setup and took care of everything herself. I don’t recall even seeing her until the end of the night when she came back to clean up. Considering we had a nightmare of a time dealing with the other caterers, it was a thing of beauty working with Joanne.
Amazing cupcakes: Throughout the night, it was obvious that Joanne’s cupcakes were the food of choice. Maybe it was because the cupcakes were easy to grab ‘n go while catching up with old friends, or possibly because stuffing mouths full of cupcakes made it easy to avoid all the awkwardness, but either way, Joanne’s cupcakes were clearly everyone’s favorite. The vanilla and red velvet were my favorite. incredibly moist and flavorful but not over-​the-​top sweet. At the end of the night, when people were grabbing handfuls of the last cupcakes on their way out, I’m so glad that Joanne saved us a container of them to take home. Amazing :)
Bottom line, I recommend Bön Petits and Joanne without any hesitation. Her professionalism and kindness will make your life much easier for any catered event, and the baked goods speak for themselves.

I am absolutely addicted to Bön Petits!
Our high school’s graduating class hosted their 10-​year reunion recently, and we were referred to Joanne at Bön Petits to help provide some dessert options. We couldn’t have been more pleased! The customer service was above and beyond, and Joanne knew exactly what we needed. The mini red velvet cupcakes were super moist and surprisingly NOT too sweet — even those who don’t usually like dessert were loving the spread. They were very well-​decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. We couldn’t help but crowd around the dessert table.

I have had the chance to try Joanne’s deliciously baked treats on two separate occasions and I want to say she’s got the hands of God when it comes to baking.

I tried her mini mango macarons (which btw, are perfect for baby showers because they’re mini) and the mango cream filling was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s probably because she uses real fruit and high quality ingredients.
I have also tried her red velvet cupcakes. They were moist and ugh, the chocolate chips inside each bite made them even more perfect, if possible. Just thinking about these makes my mouth water as I’m writing this review.

Joanne works very hard at making sure her customers are happy with their order, even working well into the morning hours to make sure each and every item is perfect.
Everything is professionally done with a touch of homemade goodness, which gives it that unique flare that lets other people know the pastries weren’t ordered en mass at a pastry shop down the street, but done by a professional baker.
Her baking skills are very versatile. If you can imagine it, she can bake it.
If I ever get married one day, I know who I will be contacting to bake for my wedding.

Joanne is so much fun to work with! My husband and I ordered mini macarons from Bön Petits a few years ago to give away as holiday gifts for his coworkers. They were such a huge hit that Joanne started getting more orders from my husbands company!
She’s done everything from cupcakes to truffles and cookies, you name it!
I also hired her to make my cupcakes and cake pops for my wedding. They turned better than anything I had imagined! She really is a perfectionist not only in taste but also execution. You will not go wrong with Joanne! She puts 110% into everything she does! I can’t wait to work on our next project together!
