Terrible place, it’s over priced and the people who work there are incredibly rude. That’s the last time I stop by there place for a six pack.

PROS: Like the location CONS: While waiting in line, I thought maybe I’d like to try my hand in a game of the Super Lottery… Well, «once» I got up to the counter, the clerk points me to go around to another side of it and then, makes me wait until he helps the other people behind me! Not too thrilled about that! Will not return… maybe a good thing too, if I ever(haha) when the lottery, it won’t be there!

I’ve come here for liquor and for lottery tickets. It is strange how there are cash registers and different sides of the counter for each purchase. Saves time when there are lines, but always strikes me as odd. Today I purchased both. First booze(Jack) and a 6-pack of soda. Then I wanted lottery tickets and had to switch sides of the counter. One, two cans slipped out of the plastic holders(no bag because I forgot my own and I thought I could handle 2 things without a bag). One can just rolled, but the other exploded and sprayed all over the front of the counter, hitting me/my skirt and some poor guys shoes. How embarrassing, but the cashiers were really nice and even replaced the slipped cans for me. Unnecessary but totally nice.

Liquor store, liquor store, liquor store! The cashiers are always nice, they have a good selection of beer, wine and liquor with good sales from time to time. There is a few parking spots out front which are dedicated to the store, so I can always find parking!

Cherry Liquors doesn’t carry a lot of microbrews, 6 paks or big bottles. what they have is priced cheaper than the big boys. every item is priced too. pours: –labatt(24 oz, 5%?, 1.68+) from canada, think molson/bud, light smooth drink, little buzz, all piss. 2 stars –flat tire(22 oz, 5.2%, 2.99+) smooth amber ale, slight kick, slight buzz, 3 stars on draught– –lots of parking –burger place and fresh & easy in same complex if you need food to accompanies the drinks. –friendly chitchat by clerk –family runned?

What should I pour in my flask when I’m off to the mountains to go skiing? I’m heading up tomorrow to make first tracks in the fresh powder! Cherry Liquors always has Hot Damn in supply(in the 30&100 proof!) Hot Damn is Cinnamon Schnapps and the only time I drink it is when I make an Apple Pie shot(it’s a crucial ingredient) or when I’m taking a swig on the ski lift.(Note: if you’re not skiing – this syrupy crap tastes awful. It magically transforms in your flask to the perfect warm-up beverage.) I feel a bit like riff raff when I’m shopping here, but otherwise it’s your basic liquor store. But since Fresh & Easy opened in the same plaza – it somehow feels«safe» and not so sketchy. Note: I recommend wearing zebra pants if you shop here.

This is a great conveniently placed liquor store that carries a huge selection of beers, inexpensive wines(even expensive — two or three vintages of Opus One). Much more convenient that the BevMo in Willow Glen. I’ve had to come in here for emergency party supplies like ice and plastic plates(and beer) and they have always carried whatever I was looking for.

3 stars, really only because of it’s location and because of all the various and sundry jokes one can come up with in response to its name. they have a pretty good selection of micro brews and decent pricing as well. they could use to upgrade the hard liquor section, i think i’ve transcended drinking smirnoff and the best they can do is absolut. i think this place is pretty much for hardcore alcoholics, but in a pinch it will do. i guess thats because mr. t’s liquor locker is about our only other option after 10 pm and we all know how scary that place is. if the dogs are lucky i might bring them a slim jim and if my man is lucky i might bring him an it’s-it.
