Close to my house, food was made fresh. Will eat here again.

some of my friends are obsessed with the com ga hai nam here, so the other weekend we stopped in for a sunday lunch. the four of us were greeted and seated promptly and the service remained attentive throughout the meal. i was the only one out of the group that opted for the com tam suong plate while everyone else got the usually. i figured this way i could sample off my boyfriend’s plate while still having my own. we all ordered two portions of nem nuong rolls to share. the food didn’t take long to serve and turned out delicious just as my friends had promised! this place is literally just a few minutes away from my house, so it’s a good alternative to com tam dat thanh which is a little further. sometimes well just stop in for the fresh nuoc mia, because it’s the most convenient location. the only real issue is the once again ‘cash only’ deal.

3.5 stars I wanted to try a new Com Tam joint and this place is just around the corner from me. The broken rice with grilled pork was just alright. It had flavor but the meat was a bit dry and chewy. I am not a big fan of those traits since I have braces. Service was fine and I do like the presentation of the food on the plates. The Hainanese chicken was alright. I’m not a fan of steamed chicken unless it blow my mind away and this dish didn’t do any of that. Overall, a simple place to eat but nothing to run home and tell your mom about.

This place is good. I’ve only eaten here once but once but ordered plenty of to go stuff here. My mother and I LOVE the thit nuong and ga nuong here(grilled pork and chicken). It’s so good! Great flavors, tender, never dry. It’s amazing. Besides that, our usuals are the phở ap chao, and com ga hai nan. The phở ap chao is a deeped fried phở noodles with a yummy stir fry saucy mixture that you eat with it. It had tons of veggies and tender beef. It was not as flavorful as i’d like it to be but nothing a little sirachi couldn’t help. Com ga hai nam for those who do not know is the free ranged chicken with rice eaten with some fish sauce. Very light and very good. Not the best but still very good. Overall the meals here have always been good. It’s not amazing but what makes it nice is that it’s all reasonably price and great portions. What makes me come back for sure is the grilled stuff though. awesome.

their hu tieu kho thao an(dry rice noodle with jumbo shrimp, pork, fried chicken, etc.) is pretty damn good. filling too! a regular bowl compares to large bowls of many other vietnamese restaurants.

This vietnamese joint is awesome, not for the phở, but for the filet mignon over tomato rice. It’s super good, plenty of food, and super cheap. Besides the great food, the place is pretty clean, service is pretty good, the only thing that sorta bothered me was there was the owner’s little kids playing around you and stuff, other than that, i would’ve given it 5 stars. over all i love this place for it’s good rice plates, but for Phở or vietnamese noodles, i would go else where to get that 5 star taste. I recommend people to come here and try their filet mignon steak rice.

4.5 stars! Everything on the menu has been great so far, one of the better mom and pop viet restaurants around, a hidden gem that not many people know about.

This place is decent. Their hu tieu kho comes with a choice of 2 sauces – red or brown. The red has a more tomato-y taast, and the brown is more soy-sauce/hoisin like. I like the red more, but I think it’s just a matter of taste. It’s not for those of you who like liver and all that hard core stuff in your hu tieu. But they’re pretty generous with their portions. The fried chicken adds a nice touch to the dish, that I don’t recall having at other restaurants. Their bo luc lac(shaking beef) is pretty good. The beef is quite tender. The staff are nice. I like to call ahead to order something for dinner. It’s usually waiting for me when I arrive.

The workers here are really nice and the food is really affordable. However I am fairly sensitive to salty foods and usually have to drink a liter of water after eating here. Other than that the food is pretty good.

4.5 The key to some of these Vietnamese restaurant is what you order. Thank goodness I went with a friend who knows what to order. Stars are given solely based on food — service is what you expect at typical asian type places like these. What I really liked — #32 — Hu Tiu Thao An(Tom Lon) — Rice noodle topped w/Jumbo Shrimp, shrimp cake, squid, fried chicken… in a flavorful broth. The dish is served with the broth on the side, and then you pour it over the noodles and stuff.

there were 2 tables occupied when we came in at around 8pm. the servers were very courteous in a choppy way. he introduced the popular dishes which is quite strange for a Vietnamese restaurant to have an interaction with its customers but the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. i had com ga hai nam. i have to say the dish was made perfect to my taste. the fish sauce that accompanied the dish was just right, though it left a strong garlic after taste in my mouth which needed half a box of mint to drown out. we had also phở ap chao, and various dishes of com tam. they were all very satisfied with their dishes. overall, the restaurant have a friendly ambiance and great food. i take a star off for the meat labels on the walls advertising their special dishes.

This place is new but I eat here like everyday. There are other similar places around but I still have to come here at least once or twice a week because their rice plates are sooooooooo delicious. The service is friendly and the place is always nice and clean. I usually eat their have their Com Chien Bo Luc Lac(Cube steaks over some kind of fried rice) or Hai Nam chicken over rice. Another dish I like here when rice isn’t on my mind is Noodles(the dried version).
