I am with a 50 employee + company here in San Carlos, we have been using Darcom Computers for more then 6 years, though we use them mostly for larger issues such as Exchange conversion and multi level networking issues, I have on occasion used them for Citrix and termianal services as well as printer issues. There staff is extremly helpful and kind. Andrew one of there tech and Michelle there sales person are two extremly helpful and wonderful people that once you come incontact with, you will not want to change. My laptop broke down, wasn’t sure if it was a virus or some other meltdown. I called Sony and they said bring it to one of their stores or send it in, but would take approx. 4 – 6 weeks turnaround time. Well I can’t live without my laptop for that long, so I looked online for computer repair places in my area. Darcom came up on the search and I spoke to owner Peter Lutus on the phone. He told me to bring it down and he can see what he can do.
For a rush rate of $ 85, he took it in and had it back to me in 2 days good as new. He told me he backed up my data on DVD before he went in and fixed the issues. Turned out I had a few viruses as well as a bad batch of memory that was causing it to shut down and not restart properly. They stayed within the quoted estimate and time frame so a big plus there. I remember other places in the past that always added on things I didn’t need or went over the quote by at least 10 – 20 bucks. I would recommend Darcom to anyone needing computer repair or parts.
