Had the rio grande. Tasted good but quite expensive considering there are so many options so close by. I would only go here if I wanted something plain and simple. Not the friendliest service but that’s probably because we came close to closing time.

WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER! And let me tell you it was my first time coming in, so I came in with my sister and her husband at 9:20 on a Friday night. Once we came in, wasn’t greeted at all but of course they were able to tell us that they close soon(@10pm) ok totally fine we eat fast anyways so once we were ordering everything was ok, my brother in law orders a couple things and the cashier named HECTOR was super irritated and kept sighing, so my brother in law asked him if he was ok and he said«yeah we just close in 20 minutes», now get this it’s only 9:25 by this time to be exact so technically we have 35 minutes left. So we are already irritated by his attitude, So we ate and left. Once we left, I realized in my pocket I only had $ 1, I totally remembered he gave me the wrong change! I had given him a $ 20 bill and my order was $ 10 and something so he messed up probably because he was irritated for whatever reason.(Idk how I didn’t realize it, my fault as well) so I call back and he said to come in the next day. Which I did and talked to the manager on the phone and everything seemed cool but she had to check the cashier to see if there was extra, so I left back home since she said she would call me and never received a phone call. It is Tuesday today and I finally called them and HECTOR picked up, I told him who I was and was just waiting on the manager(while on the phone I was super nice and not mad at all) but he was very rude, told me just to come in and he can give me what he owes, so I thanked him and before I could finish he hung up on me! Only gave this place a star because I was finally able to get my money back. NEVERAGAIN

The potato salad I order was actually really watery, and way overpriced. Probably won’t be ordering that one again. However, the staff is really patient and friendly. TIP: ASKFORSAMPLES!!!

The best sandwich I had in a long time. I had the Pilgrim’s Progress, really good! The Bread is what made the sandwich even better.

As you can see, she is very happy with her Pot belly sandwich that Hector and his co worker made for her. He greeted us with a smile and asked what we wanted. We will be back often because our pot belly is making our belly growling for more! Five stars for costumer service!

Food is good. I agree with meg that it is to expensive. However if you are an Erik’s enthusiast this one is good. The management and staff do a great job.

So I never ate here before and my fiancé had. After my doctor appointment we decided to order n pick up our food so my fiancé called them n ask if they can bring our order out because he is an amputee n I have a traech which they said that was fine. We called when we arrived n someone said that they will be coming out so 15 min passed. We called again they said they r having shift change and our order hasn’t been started yet. Another 15 min pass I went inside they had no order but yet they repeated my fiancé number on their caller ID and said oh yeah someone called from this number but didn’t say anything. We left I was really disappointed 2 hours passed they called and ask if we were going to pick up our order. AREYOUFORREAL? WORSTSERVICE

«Respect the pickle»? Respect my sandwich, first! First of all, the meal wasn’t cheap. Almost $ 20 for 2 sandwiches, 1 drink and 1 bag of chips. We ordered two of the veggie options, del monte special and natural high, and they both tasted like cardboard with sprouts on top. When I asked the cashier what the«secret goo» was(because let’s be honest, I’m not just gonna shove secret goo into my mouth without asking) she responded with an annoyed voice«mayonnaise and mustard…». Well, that’s some secret you got there, Erik. The del monte was pretty boring and tasted like something I could easily make at home, but the natural high was inedible. It honestly smelled like microwaved urine and the pita was like chewing rubber. My husband tried to get me to split it with him but I couldn’t even choke it down. Will not be going back here… ever. I’ve had better sandwiches served to me on an airplane.

My family was looking to get a sandwich and go. We put our order in. They had trouble giving us our«reward» money. The owner keeps telling the woman to tell us we can’t have it. The registers were not working. They said the system was down. Who knows? Then I asked what happen to Which Which. The girls answered in a snotty tone«I don’t know.» Never treat your costumes rudely. I was just asking. You got my money, be nice! I will make sure to never go back to the store. I’m not your competition; I’m your costumer.

Worst thing that’s happened to me. Was trying to go to the boiling crab, but there was like a 3 hour wait so we settled to grab something from this place before we headed back on the road. The kid working immediately told us they were closing in 15 minutes and asked if we could sit outside in the cold or take it to go. Haha! Which ok, I totally understand we came a little late and that can be irritating, but basically demanding we sit outside or that we need to go is just blatantly rude. Other than that, the tuna sandwich was disgusting and soggy.

Today, I came back and tried the Turkey Walnut Pesto. While it lacked a little in the presence of pesto, the sandwich was great nonetheless. Additionally, I tried the Tomato Basil Bisque, and it was a relaxing dish to go along the meal as well, though like most sandwich shop soups, I can’t tell if it’s made-to-order or not. Overall, worth coming back to on a regular basis!

Came here for a sandwich today during lunch and found a plastic glove that was cut off in my sandwich. The whole finger was cut off in my sandwich. How do you not see that part of your glove is missing. This is unsanitary and disgusting.

I’ve always enjoyed the sandwiches from Erik’s. Though I’m not always in a sandwich mood, it does hit the spot when I am. I like the freshness of the meats, cheeses and produce(I love me some sprouts and pickles). It’s nice that this location is directly across from the office I work at at The Plant shopping center. I’ve never gone in and have it be busy, but that just makes it quicker for me.

Their chicken pesto is SOSO good. I’ve never had sprouts in a sandwich before and I was kinda nervous about it, but the sandwich was so well made… one of my coworkers tried to steal it from me! I couldn’t let that happen. 10⁄10 would order again

I have never been so insulted in all my life. I work at a business at the Plant so I had been going to Erik’s frequently. On 4th of July after my shift, it was one of the only places open. Guy at the counter seemed friendly but ready to close. I ordered ½ pilgrim’s progress and macaroni salad. Took one bite into my sandwich when I immediately realized something was missing — the turkey! After my next shift, I returned to Erik’s and displayed a photo of my sandwich without the turkey and Victor(or Hector or something) practically accused me of begging for a new sandwich. Told me he would do it for me this one time… What?! Insinuating I had done this before or that I intend to do it again?! Unbelievable. I hadn’t even asked for anything but merely pointed out his error. I walked out and will never go back. You shouldn’t either. What a total jerk.

Usually super fast service and this time I discovered that they have gluten free bread! That was awesome! So I got the turkey and Avacado sandwich on g.f. bread! It was just what I needed right before work!

Minus 1 star for the hasty way they make their sandwiches. I would rather wait 5 more minutes so my sandwiches are actually made properly than receive it fast and sloppy. I only discovered Erik’s DeliCafe a couple months ago. The staff here are quite friendly and efficient. The place itself has a wonderful décor, especially for brunch or lunch. I love the cute little cups they give you when you choose to dine in. It’s also nice that they bring your food to you once it’s made. I have had the R.E.O. Speedwagon, Rio Grande Club, Chicken Pesto, and Sea Dog. All are great sandwiches and I would get each and every one of them again. I signed up for the email club and received a BOGO for New Years and they also sent me a free soup or dessert for my birthday.

I love coming to Erik’s deli! It’s healthy and it has gluten free bread. The staff at this particular location are all very nice and accommodating. The place is also very clean. I usually order the farmer’s market. I love my vegetables and be able to have a sandwich once in awhile is nice because I can’t have regular bread. My co-workers and I tend to come here as a default lunch place. Its also affordable. There isn’t much to say but I love coming here: o)

My boyfriend and I were so excited to come here since we loved the location at the Gilroy outlets. Unfortunately this location came up short. We walked in on a Saturday at around 3ish for a late lunch. There weren’t any other customers in the place, so we were immediately greeted by the employees and given plenty of time to make our selection. I ended up with the clam chowder bread bowl and my boyfriend got the Erik’s «Berger.» He got an Arizona ice tea too… All for about 16 dollars. Food came up pretty quick. Immediately we both noticed that his sandwich was unusually small and not really heated like it was advertised to be. My clam chowder wasn’t the greatest either — bland to the max. I wish I could say that I’ll be back, but that just doesn’t seem likely.

I love Eriks! I love the half sandwich and half salad or soup combo. I always get the ruben and opt for the salad. The salad portion is huge! Its like getting a «regular sized» salad. I love how there’s tomatoes, pasta salad and sprouts in there, gives it some variety! Yum! Everytime I go here I am reminded of a good friend who needs to make sure everything gluten free. Its nice to eat a sandwich next to her and not feel bad cause she can enjoy the gluten free bread they serve here! Score! :D LOL Workers have always been nice and friendly and being that this location is in Plant, you can do your shopping and come here for a bite to eat! Good luck parking on the weekends tho! :)

During my younger days at Stanford, the Erik’s Deli in Mountain View provided me with many inexpensive, relatively healthy meals for my power studying sessions. Happy to say that this Erik’s Deli at The Plant follows in the same vein of offering up a good selection of soups and sandwiches. Restaurant space was clean and well-maintained. Staff was really friendly and nice. Great addition to The Plant.
