I am so happy I found Kim! After so many hair stylist I’ve been too, she actually listens and gives great advice and tips to have the best looking hair! Kim is very knowledgeable, sweet, and amazing at what she does. She fixed the errors I once had from a previous stylist I went too, I couldn’t be any happier with Kim’s work. I definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone. Thanks Kim for always making my REPUNZEL hair FABULOUS! Haha

Kim is my go to for all things hair. I don’t have pin straight, stereotypical Asian hair. My hair is really thick, frizzy, and seemingly has a mind of its own because it gets wavy and out of control when I do nothing to tame it. Growing up I went to a lot of «budget» salons and I noticed that a lot of hair stylists didn’t quite know how to tackle my mane.
With Kim, I feel confident because she understands that everyone’s hair is different and works with that instead of churning out the same cut to every client. She addresses my concerns, makes suggestions, and is really good about educating you on how to take care of your hair. She also recommends styling products, which I appreciate because there are so many out there to choose from and it’s always easier to see what is tried and true in a salon. We’ve experimented with color a lot, but even if you’re just in need of a trim I would definitely recommend her!

Kim’s at it again! If you haven’t already seen her, you are truly missing out. She is always so enthusiastic and has such a natural talent for making you feel at ease in her chair — not to mention she can turn any sad head of hair into a damn dream, a skill to which I can testify wholeheartedly.
I had never seen her for a haircut before my last session in her seat and I’m always really worried when I get even the slightest trim because my hair is curly to the point where I have lived most of my life as a triangle-​head. Kim gave me incredibly valuable feedback and I would say my new cut is a really healthy compromise between what she knew was best for my hair and what I was willing to do with it daily, being someone who appreciates the fine art of being low-​maintenance.

Kim is amazing!!! Every time I need a fresh cut and coloring done, I love going to Kim. I am a very indecisive person when it comes to picking out a color or style. But Kim helps me narrow down my options based on the texture of my hair and the shape of my face. Kim has a great attention to detail and she makes she I leave her chair loving my hair!!!

Kim is the best! I have very dark wavy hair naturally, and Kim did an amazing job getting it down from a dark brown almost black shade to a lovely ash brown color. Best of all, no brassiness whatsoever! I also had a few purple streaks put in my hair for added spark, and the shade was vibrant but perfect. Thank you so much Kim! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Kim is hands down THE BEST.
When I first started seeing her, I had box dyed hair and was so overdue for a haircut. After our first appointment, I left with a great cut and amazing color. I haven’t seen anyone since that first appointment.
Every time I leave the salon my hair looks amazing! We’ve done a bunch of different colors and I always love what she does. I always get compliments on my hair, thanks to Kim.

I usually have my hair done with blond highlights but Kim recommended a new style (balayage) to make it look more natural when my hair grows out. She was able to get rid of the blond brassy look Asians usually get with highlights and make my hair look more natural. I think the whole process went by fast for me since Kim talked to me the whole time. She’s super friendly and knowledgeable about the products and colors. Every time she puts something in my hair she explained what it does and why she’s putting it. She’s definitely my go to person for my hair now

Omg Kim is the best!!! She takes her time and she is so much fun. Being in her chair is not only a good laugh and a good time, but my hair was on point. I will defiantly be back.

I was more than satisfied with my balayage after the second session. Kim took the time to explain everything that she was doing and why. I liked how she told me why she was doing this and that to my hair. I feel like not too many stylists do that. She knows what’s she’s doing and has definitely had much experience with Asian hair!

Kim is the ONLY person I will let do my hair! And it’s because she does an amazing job every time. She delivers exactly what I imagine and it’s because she truly listens and has the talent & knowledge to execute it. I like to change my hair color and Kim allows me to, while always making sure to take good care of my hair. I flew all the way from the East Coast to have Kim cut my hair! She did an amazing job. She made suggestions on the style I wanted for my specific facial structure, but always let me make the final decision. I ended up w the perfect long bob! I received so many compliments and absolutely loved how my hair looked. If I didn’t live so far away I’d be one of Kim’s regulars for sure. I definitely recommend her for all hair and beauty needs!

I have very thick and long hair. It’s the reason I have such strong shoulders, biceps, and triceps.
I’m also low maintenance and don’t want to spend longer than ten minutes on my hair every morning. A good haircut is essential in allowing me to deal with my hair. A bad haircut is disastrous.

Kim’s the only one I’d ever trust with my hair. I only started getting my hair done professionally in the last year and have seen one other stylist, which didn’t go too well. Kim was able to fix this and I’ve only seen her since then! She’s also super sweet and gets to know her clients really well — you can come in with a specific request in mind, but she’ll have her own spin on the color/​style based on your personality and lifestyle. I love my hair every time I see Kim and will definitely keep coming back.

Kim has been doing my hair for about two years now. I started to see her when she was still at The Salon Professional Academy and I still only see her today. I started out with two tiny purple peekaboo highlights and a trim every once in a while and now I have almost a full head of purple hair. Kim is so passionate about her work and it definitely shows. She is knowledgable and always lets me know what she is doing, why she is doing it, and explains any questions I have for her. I regularly see her every 6 – 8 weeks for color deposits and trims. Every time I come out loving my hair more than I did before. She is confident about doing different custom color formulas for me every time so my hair is always a little bit different when I leave. I usually see Kim for 3 – 6 hours when I see her for color so it’s usually a good half a day I spend with her. She is fun to talk to and luckily she hasn’t gotten sick of me. I always look forward to my visits with Kim. Long story short– if you want a passionate and talented person that will exceed your expectations for your hair, go see Kim!

I have been following Kim since she was in school. She has done a fabulous job with my ombré which is now a rose gold colour. I would highly recommend her for colour or cut.

Kim has done my hair numerous times. Starting from when she was at The Salon Professional Academy to now. She’s amazing with hair! I’ve had cuts, highlights, dyes, and even had makeup done by her for special occasions! And guess what?! I’ve loved the results every time.
