This place is awesome! Me and my bestfriend visited this crowded place to watch Sharks’ Game and we totally had so much fun! Shoutout to all bartenders! They are the assets for this bar! Keep it up!

Definitely a great pub! They have quite the selection of beers and they don’t mind letting you taste a few. It can get crowded at times, but usually isn’t too bad.

The bartender was awesome! The bartender made the experience! He went above snd beyond… even when he was the only one serving the patrons! He originally told us, «bar service only». My husband got up to order our drinks, he met him half way and said,” I will wait on you, it is all good.” Incredible… the place wasn’t empty either! Well worth your stop…,

I don’t go here often. I’ll occasionally stop off here before Sharks games, but it’s a great place. A little crowded before and after sporting events, but everyone from the bouncers to the bartender are friendly. Service at the bar is usually really fast, and the drinks are reasonably priced. I do wish they’d do more in the way of specials though.

Great bar near San Pedro square. It is relatively small, so if its a night like St Pattys day, it is going to be packed. Plenty of beers on tap and has a good selection of hard alcohol as well. Not always my first place to visit, but still love it when its on a slower night.

Downtown SJ never disappoints with the different pubs, bars, lounges they’ve got. If you’re bar hopping, make sure to stop by O’Flaherty’s. Huge bar, bartenders are fast with making your drinks, affordable prices. The raspberry cider was muy bueno!

This is by far my favorite bar(pub) in San Jose, and even in the South Bay. From the great location, the low key ambiance, to the personable and professional waitstaff and bar staff, it’s one of the best places around to have a quiet pint with buddies earlier in the evening, pre-game for the Sharks, watch sports(local and international alike), party weekend nights, and even sing karaōke /play pub trivia once a week. O’Flaherty’s also has a solid weekly and monthly event schedule, including tap takeovers and special events with sponsors, which add to the typical pub experience. 5 stars to the pub itself and another 5 for the staff. Slainte!

Good vibe. But the host and servers have no patience and are disrespectful. Went to see a ufc fight which they posted online. They did not state a cover which their other events do… Then they decided to take a $ 10 cover all of a sudden. Don’t mind paying a cover but deciding on the fly to charge isn’t cool and not professional. Just a heads up that they do shady shit like this. So be prepared to spare some change.

There’s always something fun going on when I stop by O’Flats. They have an amazing selection of beers and ciders and I have never complained about my tequila pineapples. Service is spot on everytime, even through the crazy rushes. Shout out to my favorite long-haired bartender, Atsushi, he’s always a good time!

Came here on a Tuesday, Sharks game night, SF beer week cider event, and I had a great time! The service was quick and great! Our waitress was quick taking our orders and bring back our drinks. The only complaint is on a few refills of flights she never told us which was which and we couldn’t figure out what we were tasting. Bummer because the ones I thought I loved actually weren’t when I bought them at the store later.

If you’re a big fan of beer or pubs, I’m sure you’ll love this place! One of my friend was a big fan of going to pubs as he loves beer. Knowing this, we looked up a place nearby and found this. We stopped by here and sat down at a table. Immediately following, we were greeted and helped. The bartender was really friendly. As we were being helped, half the group didn’t know what they liked as they didn’t really drink beer. With this, we asked lots and lots of questions and she was more than happy to answer all of them. She was there to help us find the drink that we’ll enjoy, not to just simply sell beer. Knowing that she’s there to help, we took our time and found the drink that we’ll enjoy. She gave us small samples of the ones we were interested in. The atmosphere wasn’t really my thing as I’m not a big fan of pubs but that didn’t matter. We enjoyed our time there hanging out and catching up. The bartender was also a huge help in finding us a drink that we’ll like. The service was definitely one of the reason for such a high rating. As for the beer, they’re all different and everyone has their own tastes. You’ll just have to find the one that was meant for you. My drink was to my liking.

I am a cider and craft beer lover. There are so many ciders and beer on tap it’s ridiculous(but awesome!). Place fills up quickly, especially if there is a Sharks game that day. The waitresses are very nice and brings your drinks in a timely manner. Do not be like me and order chips and salsa from an irish pub(my bad). The worst pico de gallo I have ever had and not spicy at all. This is what I get for ordering salsa at a pub(I know, I know). We also ordered pretzels, bread sticks with butter, and an Asian stir fry(not good). Everything was decent, but again, we are at a pub and it is bar food. The food comes from somewhere outside(nearby restaurant). Waiters come in from outside to drop off food since the pub does not have a kitchen. Bathrooms are clean. The bartenders are nice. Stop by and check out!

I love this place! Your Irish pub to go to for a pre-game fix. The beer selection is humongo and rotating so seasonal brews pop up here and there. All their milky stouts are perfect pours(prices are just a little tad high for them though). It gets pretty crowded in there though there is indoor and outdoor seating. People are always looking for a seat during gameday. The food menu is decently priced and tastes great. If you want some game munchies, go for the sliders and fries. Perfect with your beer :)

The only bar that was still open in downtown past midnight on a Sunday. Not a fan of this kind of pub and not really me scene/vibe but I was thirsty. I am not being fair. Because it was cool because people were singing karaōke. It was overall a chill environment. I guess just personal taste kind of too dive bar feel? Simplify, not hipster and outdated. Service is lacking as well.

Wanted to get a quick drink and happened to be passing by this place. Upon entering, I was really impressed with their beer selection. The ambience is your typical Irish pub — it’s spacious, inviting, and filled with cheery people. Right next to San Pedro Square, so you go and grab a bite to each right after.

Wow i am shocked at all the positive reviews. I don’t know if we came at an off time, but the bartender was SO rude and glared at us for NO reason when i simply asked for a parking validation. We were told by afk gamer lounge to go there for a validation and the front guy also told us happily to go in and get it. If you really don’t want to give it to me, just be polite about it, damn. First thing that hit me was the SMELL. It smells like B.O. and alcohol throw up. I almost threw up myself. I had to breathe through my mouth the entire time. Now i feel sick from the smell and the customer service.

Haven’t had this much fun in an Irish bar since my backpacking experience in Dublin! O’Flaherty’s has this kind of musky, old, yet nice selections of beers on tap-type of a bar. You cannot go to any Irish bar without having a nice pint of Guinness. Hell, have two or three while you are at it! Now, I haven’t tried the food there, but with all the beers that they have, who has room for food right!?! Besides, I always pack a handful a peanuts to munch on. I have taken pictures of the 50 different types of beer that they have, and I have tried 6 of them in one night! I plan to try the other ones when I come back… Experience: a nice Pint of Guinness, or any Irish brand type of beer… if you’re in an Irish bar, you gotta try an Irish beer!

Love the old Irish pub theme of this bar. If nothing else come to enjoy the awesome atmosphere this place provides and meet some friendly locals while you’re at it. Unfortunately I’ve never tried the food from here because every time I go my friends are looking to get drunk and we always eat out later in the night. The fish and chips did look really good though, saw someone with a plate of it and the smell alone made my mouth water. Prices for drinks are about average depending on where you usually go. It’s about $ 5 – 8 for a pint of beer and the mixed drinks vary depending on what you order. On a side note, I’m not really a big soccer(football) fan, but obviously being an Irish pub they have the major games playing all the time. I’m sure a lot of dudes will appreciate that.

GOSHARKS! My pregame stop for every home game at the Shark Tank. Great selection of Stouts and Porters(I recommend the Old Rasputin or Coffee Milk Stout). The sliders are great too– although I usually ask for the blu cheese on the side. It gets a bit intense for my taste. Before games it gets pretty crowded, so make sure to get there early or be ready to wait around.
