Love how this restaurant is cafeteria-style. You are basically given a tray with a bowl for sandwich/salad, and a bowl for sandwich/soup. Servings come in halves and whole, meaning that you can order ½ sandwich, ½ salad, for an order. There is a good selection of soups, that includes anything from tomato soup to clam chowder. There is also a good selection of sandwiches, that includes anything from the turkey bacon sandwich to the grilled cheese sandwich. Last, but not least, there is a good selection of salads, that includes anything from the Caesar salad to the cobb salad. I, myself, ordered the ½ tomato soup with the ½ turkey bacon sandwich. Would like to pair the tomato soup with the grilled cheese, the next time I go, given that it’s a very natural pairing. Had I known that there was a grilled cheese, I would have had that, and the tomato soup. The tomato soup, like at most American places, is very salty. I would also order the tomato soup with bread, instead of the apple, to sop up the soup, the next time I go.

I’ve been frequenting to this particular Panera’s location, mostly during weekend afternoons. In short, Decent Food and Slow Service but Appreciably Non-Interrupted. Their order taking is very simple. You’l be given a token number soon after you make your order. Like I mentioned earlier, their service is slow even during non-busy times, so I suggest people get seated comfortably instead of waiting at their order-delivery area. Your food will be served at the table by the staff. Of all my visits so far, YOUPICK2 is the best choice in my opinion. You can combine any two items between ½ Salad/1 Flatbread/½ Sandwich/Cup of Soup/½ Mac & Cheese with a side of Potato Chips or French Baguette. Not only this meal is great on a good appetite, it is also satisfyingly filling. However, they charge you separately for soups($ 4.09) and the rest of You Pick 2 menu items($ 4.29). FOOD — FAVORITES, # Cup of Soup — ‘Creamy Tomato’ with bread crumbs is always YUM! When you’ve French Baguette as a side, dip it in the hot soup and have it, trust me, it’s Amazing! Then comes the ‘Summer Corn Chowder’. It’s creamy, delectable and appetizing. In fact this is new on their menu(may be seasonal and available only during summer time every year). Liked the coriander dressing, which added great flavor and gave a good finishing touch to the dish. # Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich — Surely, this is a true delight to all vegetarians. Comes in perfect size with fresh veggies like tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, green leaf lettuce topped with feta cheese. And, the hidden flavor bomb to this sandwich is the Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus. I’m sure you’l enjoy this richness and get some very tasty bites. # Tomato Mozzarella Flat Bread — Wonderful for anyone who loves Basil(like me & hubby). Had it first time here and already got added to my Panera Hit list. Besides fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, Basil leaf gives you an unforgettable tasty impression. # Classic Grilled Cheese — It’s sliced American cheese grilled on classic white Bread. Good & worthy. #Bakery Menu — Their pastries are not to be expected fresh. So, try them only if you’re ok with it. Thus far have grabbed Triple Berry Scone($ 2.99) & Cherry Pastry($ 0.99). Looks like their scones are popular, but we liked Cherry pastry more. # Beverages, Hazelnut flavored Coffee($ 2.29) — Strong Hazelnut flavor yet a non-compromising black coffee. I definitely recommend this! # Sides — French Baguettes are good not sure whether they’re pretty good. Potato Chips is a standard ready-to-eat Panera package. STORE’S SETTING Nice and calm ambience. The facility has got ample seats indoors and a few outside. It also has a spacious conference/group room(Not sure whether it’s open to public and whether it needs a prior reservation). During all my visits, I’ve seen the place either reasonably crowded or with a minimal crowd only, but it appears to be people friendly. You can see visitors reading/studying/working/watching movies, basically people can be in their own space for how much ever time they need without being asked to leave. My Hubby says he used to be a regular here and has stayed for a longer time during the day without any problem. So, this sums up that their free Wi-Fi connectivity is good and reliable. TIPS, — Their BROCCOLICHEDDAR is NOTVEG. It has chicken broth. Glad one of the associates, Trevor pointed it out correctly. — They accept Coffee Refills. — Parking, this is located in the North Park Plaza which has a big private parking lot with plenty of parking spots.

I like this Panera Bread location. It’s a great place for breakfast! There are plenty of tables in this roomy restaurant. The free wifi is major plus! The place looks relatively clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. Parking can be difficult during the peak hours during lunch. It is also a very popular location so it can get busy. I do recommend Panera Bread if you need a pastry or a light lunch.

In no mood for this shit. Ordered rapid pickup online for 11:56. Came here and they don’t have my order ready. «Somebody picked it up from the shelf». Bullshit. They need to secure their shelf then.

Update: things haven’t improved at all here. Made a rapid pick up order. Arrived in 20 mins and nothing there to pickup. Waited again. Asked about my missing order and they gave no explanation or apology. REQUEST: When customers order for rapid-pick-up and you don’t have something in stock, please just call us or at the least leave a note at the pick-up location telling us to talk to you guys. I was in a rush so I ordered online for a rapid-pick-up. As I got to this location 10 minutes later, the food wasn’t ready so patiently waited. After all the customers that were waiting in line picked up their food and the restaurant cleared out, I finally asked what happened with my order. The worker then told me that they weren’t able to make my sandwich because they were out of ingredients. I asked if I’m supposed to pick another sandwich and the worker said yes. I made another order, 2 minutes later, with no apology, my food was smacked onto the counter. — In general, I haven’t had the best experience at this Panera compared to others. The internet is usually slow to the point that it’s useless and ingredients for food or smoothies are often out. On a positive note, there are a lot of spaces for you to sit so it’s a great place to meet and chat. If you can, the one on Coleman is a lot better.

I really love the ‘steak&egg’ on breakfast menu, the one with bacon is also worth trying.

I’m not sure if this is normal for restaurants in the area, but this Panera was wrecked on a Sunday afternoon. They removed the dark roast coffee entirely, the whole canister of lemons was gone by the water and there were not one but THREE empty squeeze bottles of honey laying next to the coffee. Only the honey was replaced properly by closing. Everything else remained wrecked. None of the empty tables had been bussed and though I assumed Panera was self-service(bus your own tables) ½ the patrons left dirty dishes on the tables. It took staff *at least* 3 hours to check on and bus tables. The food looked like it was running out too. I had a very sad salad and sandwich with probably the very last of the chicken in the kitchen. Tiny sandwich filling so it was 80% bread. I was shocked and can’t imagine such little quantity and quality of portions is the norm. I remember eating at a different location last year and didn’t experience this. When staff cleaned the bathrooms they used coffee filters instead of paper towels??? What happened to this place? Did it get ravaged? Is it in a war zone? Also I kinda regretted coming due to the other clientele. Not only not bussing tables, 1 girl walked around talking on her cell all the way in and out of the bathroom, 1 guy took up one of the few large tables(meant for 4) by sleeping for 1 hour with his head on the table, and a couple actually walked in WITHTHEIROWNCOFFEEMAKER and didn’t buy sh*t. I left so confused. Also the wi-fi is weak. Too many jokers trying to watch YouTube(and not buying anything!!) so it’s hard for a simple web page to load. I would NOT recommend as a serious work station.

I just came back to work from here, first time customer and probably last. First of all they didn’t have any avocado and secondly they messed up my entire order I only wanted a bacon avocado turkey sandwich on wheat with one bag of chips and I ended up getting a Turkey bacon sandwich on white bread and a grilled cheese sandwich with two bags of chips??? I did not check my receipt but I swear all I asked for what a bacon turkey sandwich. $ 17 for a messed up order on my lunch break. Smh.

They got rid of the chipotle chicken panini awhile ago which is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to deal with and is something I struggle with on a daily basis. Besides that, there’s literally nothing wrong with this location. It’s like every panera bread you’ve ever been to. I eat overpriced and delicious mac and cheese here probably twice a month. If I don’t, my body begins to withdrawal. Definitely worth it.

Food is great and definitely guilt-free healthy. I come here occasionally and only to study but the wifi always kicks me out if I refresh the page. It’s absolutely annoying. So, I end up relocating to another panera place or just the library. It does get busy during lunch because most businesses are on lunch break and this is a popular spot for locals. I would recommend the half/half option and especially the chicken noodle soup. The lattes are too pricey for me.

I come here sometimes on my lunch break from work. It can get quite crowded during the lunch rush, but I like that you can order ahead and just do pick up when you arrive. The staff is friendly and the food is usually really yummy.

Panera Bread seems to always be consistent no matter which location I go to. I like the selection choices. The food always seems fresh. Fast service and clean, open areas to sit. I like the booth options or table by open windows. The ambience is great for getting a quick bite to eat with a friend or opening the laptop to get some work done. The food I ordered tasted perfect. They have great advertised combinations. It makes ordering simple when I can just read of the ad. I got the half flatbread Turkey pest sandwich with cup of Chili and apple. The food was quickly sent out, was warm and tasty. Great portion as I ate everything and was sufficiently satisfied. Plus the coffee at the end — the Hazelnut, tasted flavorful and was hot. TL;DR This chain is very consistent– offers great tasting, fresh options for a quick bite or sit-down study location.

Excellent service, the smell of fresh coffee, and a bag of bagels at 7AM? Count me in! The pumpkin pie bagels at this location seem smaller than the ones in Alabama. Maybe the bagels are proportionate to the size of their customers within their region? The French toast bagel looked the same and tasted just as great. Don’t forget that hazelnut cream cheese to make your breakfast more rich and calorific than it already is.

When I first walked into the Panera Bread, I was greeted warmly by the cashier, Jia. She was very quick with making my order and took the time to explain the«You Pick Two» on the menu for me. The atmosphere in this establishment is calm and peaceful. The Chicken, Ham and Swiss Flatbread with the Broccoli Cheddar Soup was flavorful and the Flatbread was toasted nicely with the Swiss cheese infusing well into the sandwich. I would recommend this Panera Bread to my friends and family for the great customer survice and delicious food!

Moderate-sized bakery & café chain offering baked goods(cookies, muffins), sandwiches, soups, and salads. They are located on the corner of a shopping plaza off along E Brokaw Rd/Murphy Ave next to Ono Hawaiian BBQ. The plaza is busy, especially during the weekday lunch hours, but this Panera is tucked away in the corner and is generally less crowded than the other nearby eateries. They don’t have a lot of parking space, but we have always been able to find a spot. Their portions/prices were reasonable, service was quick, and food was tasty & filling. They offer indoor/outdoor seating & this location sometimes has pockets of quiet seating areas(they have a back room with a small number of seating that not many are aware of), which is nice in case you need to work, study, and/or de-stress.

I’m a Panera fan every Day. Living in South San Jose I go to Cottle location every morning like clock work. Today knowing I was going north I came to Old Oakland rd. Location and I must say Alex at the counter did a great job. Funny, out going and personality perfect for customer service that you want everywhere. Had me and my wife both impressed with the customer service that he provided. Alex if you ever need a job, we both have positions waiting for you because you go above and beyond and it definitely shows with your positive attitude we witnessed towards everyone. Thanks Panera again for all the delicious bagels and of course my perfect Hazelnut coffee every day

Spinach&bacon Soufflé is always my favorite dish at Panera. Really like their environment and price. The environment is good which make people really relax and the price is fair. Anyway I think Panera is a very good place for breakfast and branch!

I love this Panera! It’s so clean and everyone is so polite and cheerful. There’s this blonde young lady that works the front that genuinely looks like she enjoys working there. Obviously it’s a front because who the hell would enjoy working at Panera, but it’s nice to see. Idk about other people, but when I see my fellow man/woman happy, it makes me happy too! The food is great, maybe a little better than most paneras, but what really caught my eye was the presentation. The food actually looks like the food in the photos. It looks like they actually took some time and effort to prepare the food. Unlike some paneras I’ve been to, where it looks like they just slap everything on with reckless abandon and hope for the best. Would recommend this place! They also have a shit ton of seating.
