Paseo Plaza

I’ve rented here for 6 years.
The positive: Floor lay outs are great, and much better than the nearby similar condos. The parking is great, with a nice pool, hot tub and gym. The two gentlemen who take care of the property are also awesome. Its walking distance to the grocery store (which has spoiled me) and to events downtown.
The negative: Expect anything you put in the gated garage to be stolen. For the HOA you don’t get much of anything. There is no security guard that patrols the garage or common areas, even my cheap apartment in sunnyvale had better security. If you live on the 4^th floor or above, expect to pay through the nose ($ 600-​$ 800) for air conditioning. I’ve had a router and plasma tv fry when the AC unit broke (the unit was 98+ degrees while the outside was 74 degrees)
The HOA office are surly and unresponsive. I have to go directly to the office as they seldom return phone calls or respond to email. The parking spaces are tandem to save space, and are a pain. It also boasts the slowest elevators in the world. They need a freight elevator for moving

I bought my condo here in 2003 and lived here until 2008. It’s such a great complex that I felt I was in a mini resort. The units are well constructed an very attractive as well.
I like living in a walkable city and Paseo Plaze is short walking distance to tons of great restaurants and other amenities of downtown San Jose.

I bought a 1 bedroom new in 1997 — totally enjoyed living here for years. Have handled many sales in the complex and heard just about everything — overall an excellent place to live — well managed — attractive — perfect location in the heart of vibrant downtown.

I love living here. The HOA keeps the place immaculate and safe. The common areas within the complex are absolutely beautiful, the pool is always clean and the gym is huge. I like that they are constantly improving the place with new gym equipment and repainting. When am laying out by the pool I feel like I am on vacation and not in the middle of a loud bustling city. It may be about 8 years old (not quite sure) but it is by far the nicest place to live.
