Dr. Naidu and her staff are kind and understanding. I have needed various things done to my teeth and they are both responsive and respectful. They don’t push services on you, only let you know your needs and allow you to decide. Would definitely recommend!

He seemed to do an OK job, really friendly guy. Yeh, I pretty much knew that he was maxing the payments of my insurance to his business, but he did try and keep out of pocket costs down. I guess if you view it this way: Insurance will never pay enough to take care of your teeth, so you should use every $ you can get to keep them as long as you can… Here was a guy who specialized in getting that every $ from insurance, so I figured he was more of a champion for my teeth vs the insurance folks… He may have been a bit eager to replace my silver fillings, but what the hey… Call it three stars and that I’ve been meaning to look around and see if there was better and jump ship if that ever magically came along… I’d say 4 starts, but after every drilling I had, I always seemed to have longer/deeper pain than I recall with other dentists… Part of me was thinking that his drill work was just OK. But a really nice guy, so I’d give him 4stars but for the perception that advanced work was just OK… Now, however Dr Jay is gone, he sold the practice to a new young dentist to go spend more time with his family… There was supposed to have been a flyer to his customers saying he was out of there, but I got nada… Same with my Xwife & kids who use Dr Jay as well… It _feels_like he grabbed the $ and ran… At least that’s how it comes over… New dentist, no idea who she is. Had an appointment with her, she seems OK, but she started saying there was a bunch of work I needed to get done… Which is odd as after 4 years I’d just finished«a bunch of work that needs to get done» with Dr Jay. So, maybe I need work done, maybe I don’t, but I do think it’s time to start looking elsewhere.

I guess you could count me one of the nay-sayers to this guy. I was a long-time patient though. Pros: — nice receptionist — preaches prevention(flossing, fluoride toothpaste/rinse) — keeps the pain away and generally does good work. Enough that there’s no lingering effects — gives the impression of being a nice guy. most of the time. But…here are the cons: — pretty much what everyone else has said on here, I can vouch for — he’s fee-happy. — he used to ask for 24-hr prior notice. It’s 2 days now. Plus the fee is pretty steep. — weird hours — does not have a hygienist on staff — he seems to «find problems», even though I try to follow his preventative advice, and do frequent cleanings. — have a big bill out of pocket? No problem, he’ll put you his payment plan, which is to pay off in 4 months — need more time to pay? That’s when he doesn’t get so nice.
In essence: I used to like the guy early on. Over time, I just got the feeling he was just going after my insurance/money by making up problems in my mouth. So, I got a 2nd opinion, and a checkup. The new dentist(who has great reviews), found nothing. He also noted some of the work could have been avoided. So, I think it’s time for a new dentist.

He charged me $ 8600 to fill some cavities, about 2.5 hours. If you like them rates go see Jason Henderson.

Dr. Jay is awesome! We recently started going here and were very impressed with his down to earth approach. We learned he is a St. Francis High School Alumni. My kids connected with him well and he was very gentle. :) Sandy is wonderful too…
