Round Table Pizza

Pizza — Great.
Owners are rude and do not respect their customers. With them it’s always something. It seems impossible to have a smooth transaction.
I prefer great pizza and great customer service.

Is there way to give negative stars? At friend’s place ordered pizzas and after one and half hour and two phone calls still no pizza. My friend called and the owner started yelling at my friend. Never getting my business. :(

Horrible went there tonight after a few months the pizza was burnt the prices are high an the inside is really dirty old an dark depressing scene no where you would wanna hang out an drink a beer too so sad you can’t find a decent pizza in Almaden

Honesty, I have given these people too many chances to redeem themselves since they are Persians, but believe me, every single time they managed to disappoint me. Tonight, I ordered a pizza to be delivered and after 45 minutes driver came with a totally different pizza that I had ordered. Driver apologized and took the Pizza back to exchange for the one that I had originally ordered. After 30 additional minutes he came back with exactly the same pizza which they had added my toppings. The added toppings were raw and it was obvious that they had just pour them on the old pizza and send it back to our house. What a shameful act. I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are much better pizza places around that deserve your business and support. Stay away from this place…

Ok, my wife and I always like Round Table pizza, so in terms of ordering for pickup, never had much issues with the food. The owner from the times I’ve interacted with her was pretty nice. One time my phone order was forgotten and when I went to pick up the order, it wasn’t prepared at all. She expedited my order and gave me a discount without asking (only had to wait 5 min for the new pizza to come out). One tip is that I got a fridge magnet with 15% off the order. I just keep a picture of that on my phone, marked it as a favorite, and use that to bring down the price some each time I pay.
The four stars is mostly because I like Round Table pizza, I always order for pickup, and super close to home for a quick dinner (not too many quick dinner choices in Almaden Valley area).
I do like better quality pizzas but for the convenience, this Round Table works for me.

Waited 10 minutes for them to take the one order in front of me. Then after 30 minutes more went to check where my one personal pizza was and it was just going in the oven. Finally got the food after a 35 minute wait on a quiet Thursday night.

I will admit that the people at the counter come off kind of rude and I think it’s their culture. I used to come here every week and the lady once offered me some of her lunch to snack on (it was some kind of naan type thing) while I waited for my pizza, so she actually was pretty nice. I think she’s a nice lady, just has a harsh way of speaking. I’ve gone to this location for YEARS! Granted, I never dine in so I can’t speak on that, but both delivery and pick up have been a fine experience for me. If you think the service here is bad, DO NOT go to the one on Almaden expressway by Brett Harte. Now THAT is some bad service. Anyway, all round tables taste pretty much the same to me. It’s my favorite «fast food pizza» that’s part of a chain. Better than dominos or Pizza Hut. And the service, I’ve never had an issue.

The only reason I came here was because legends pizza’s power went out and they burnt the pizzas I ordered so I went down the street for more options…
Make sure you check your order because you may just pay $ 30 for a specialty pizza that is just cheese… Atleast I used a coupon and got a free small one topping pizza that I actually enjoyed.

This is our second time here, and definitely our LAST. Unfriendly service, the beer was flat, the 3 kinds of pepperoni pizza had hardly any pepperoni…
When my husband complained about the pizza not having any pepperoni, he made reference to their corporate poster pimping the pizza (the one in the photo was loaded with pepperoni of course). After he walked away from the counter, one of the Persian family members/​owner/​worker, came around and took the poster down!!! RIGHT in front of us!

wish it were possible to give this place NEGATIVE stars! i have NEVER been so jerked around by a pizza place in my life. my husband and i ordered a large combo and when she said $ 29 my husband was a little surprised. i then whispered, «let’s just do bj’s for like $ 20» the gal on the phone over heard me and said «i give you discount, $ 24» my husband said ok and that was that. a half hour later the driver called from the shop saying that he needed directions (ok, we live in an apartment, i get that) so we gave directions. we called back a half hour later (it has now been ONE HOUR) and she said she’d have to rack him down. we called back 15 minutes later and she said he didn’t have a cell phone, but if he wasn’t here in 10 minutes to call her back for a discount.
he arrived shortly after with a warm pizza and no ranch. after my husband had ordered a «pregnant lady sized, side of ranch» when we called them back, AFTER the delivery guy tried to say it took so long bc it was so far (a mile and a half) the woman argued with us then said ok ok $ 23. $ 6 off. ??? six dollars off the original price that you already discounted?
long story short she hung up when i demanded her full name to report her terrible service to corporate.
FIND ANOTHER ROUNDTABLE is my ONLY advice.

Do not come to this RT if you want friendly customer service. The «blonde» woman who took our order was just outright rude. We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 pitchers of beer and 2 glasses of wine. I asked her what kind of wine they had and she said «red or white.» Fine — well, what kind of white? She had no effing clue and basically blew off my question. At least say something to the effect of «let me check for you.»
She then said she’d have someone bring the wine to our table. 5 minutes later I’m looking around. We’re the only customers in the «restaurant» and the guy that got the pitchers of beer is gone. WTF. So, I go back to «blonde» lady and ask her about the wine. She shrugs her shoulders and says she’s been on the phone and rhetorically asks me what can she do. Ok, I understand you’re busy. Then say something like, «I’m really sorry about that. I’m short-​staffed and I should have said it would take me a bit.»
I do have to admit that the pizza was good (gotta be consistent if you’re RT), but everything else was just terrible — the wine, the service, the ambience. If you must come here, then make sure it’s take out, not delivery or dine-​in. If you’re looking for a family pizza night you’re better off at Amato’s or Legend’s.

Over two years ago, I first visited this Round Table because it is within walking distance from my home. However, on my first visit, the person who took my order, collected my money, used the cash register, and handed me my change, and then WITHOUT washing her hands nor putting on food prep gloves, walked over to the counter and proceeded to make my pizza, touching all of the ingredients with her bare hands (reaching into the cheese bin, handling the pepperoni, etc). Then, this same disgusting health violation happened a second time a couple of weeks later. I stopped going there entirely, and then sent round table corporation my feedback. Never heard back from them of course.
Then fast forward to today, I am in a time crunch and need to eat lunch, so I thought I would try this location again to see if things have changed. No such luck. The EXACT same problem. What’s worse is that two out of three times, it was the owner (an otherwise very nice lady) who committed the violation. The first time was one of the staff workers, who was using the phone when walked in, then the cash register, then touched the food.
This is simply unacceptable.

I was so disappointed with my experience at this place tonight. I have been coming to this round table since I was 5 and it had been a few years since I’d been there so I decided to order pizza from there when watching my parents house. Sadly, the new manager is clearly an unhappy and mean person.
The pizza was delivered after an hour and a half, though they had said 40 min, and it was freezing cold.
Now I’m not one to complain and I felt bad about calling in the first place but I had to call because it was so cold and the cheese had gotten hard.
This manager here, blonde lady w curly hair who looks like a troll, was the rudest person I ever spoken with. I told her what had happened over the phone and she REFUSED to give me my money back and insisted that I BRING THE FREEZING DELIVERED PIZZA BACK IF I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
I was annoyed and went back, literally a 5 minute drive so I’m not sure what was up with the cold pizza. As soon as I got there she said that she didn’t think the pizza was cold and interrupted me when I said that she should check it herself. She then proceeded by putting her hand up and dismissing what I was saying and yelling about me in another language. Not cool.
She then touched the pizza with her bare hands, realizing that, yes, it was indeed freezing and hard. I told her I wanted money back as she screamed at me and kept interrupting me saying it wasn’t her fault and pointing at me saying something in another language.
No sorry. Nothing. Just a rude look and more pointing at me while speaking another language. Never going back here again.

Hooray to the only Round Table Pizza in San Jose (or anywhere) that treats you like family! I’ve been coming here to Redmond RT for a few years, and after meeting the staff and making a great new friend (Shanaz, the owner) we look forward to coming as often as we can!
My favorite pizza is the Maui Zaui and the garlic twist bread. RT Redmond always makes it perfect for us. We also enjoy the fresh salad bar which is a must-​try!
Don’t forget the pinball machines!

I love taking my son and his cousins to this Round Table.
They enjoy playing the pin ball and other video game machines and eat the great pizza.
We even had my son’s birthday pizza and cake here too after playing at Golfland.
The staff was great! So helpful and kind.
They had even decorated the room for us!
And the kids had such a great time.
My husband always enjoys his cold beer here too.
We have been coming here for the past five years and have loved it every time.
I would not go any where else!

I have ordered many pizza’s for delivery, every time i placed an order they came quicker than expected, and the pizza was always to my liking.
The lady who takes the order over the phone is fast and effective.

We love Round Table Pizza — I wanted to start by saying that. Now, this location leaves a lot to be desired. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! They gave my husband and friend a lot of slack for requesting their free personal pizzas using tickets from the sharks game. Round Table has a deal «4 in the net and pizza you get.» So, he took in our tickets to redeem them. The woman taking the orders was NOT happy about it. They bought two drinks (you have to buy something) and she got even more mad.
I understand that these franchises are independently owned, but we should be made to feel unwelcome for using a deal that they promote. I didn’t ASK for free pizza at the Sharks game. I understand that you are losing money on THIS transaction, but my family has bought pizza on Friday nights at full price for as long as I can remember. They need to keep things in perspective. This location can be sure that I will drive a little farther to get my Round Table Pizza next time — because we aren’t going back!

The «lady» who took my order over the phone is rude as heck. She asked me if I knew where their location was, and I answered with a polite «Yes». Shen then aggresively asks me «Then where IS THE LOCATION THEN?», like it’s some pop quiz or some shit.
She stressed that it would be ready in 20 minutes. (like «Don’t be late).
When we got there, the pizza hasn’t even been started yet and the place was empty at 11:30am.
The older guy that was there «Ali», was pleasant though, offering us some coupons when we didn’t bring in any nor requested a discount.
The pizza itself is good stuff (Garlic Chicken Supreme) but only really worth it if you have said coupon.
Sounds like alot of Unilocalers got some pretty crappy service from this woman, as I read the earlier reviews!

What’s up with Persians owning pizza chains lately?
No offense to the Persian community. but they should stick to Kabobs. Pizza is NOT their fortay… Especially if they are cutting corners… Geez!
Hands down the worst Round Table I’ve been to ever… and I’ve to well over 15 in my lifetime.
Pizza tasted disgusting, texture, flavor all of it… and to think Round Table has been my favorite since childhood. This one scarred me a little… YUCKEEEEE!!!
The service was horrible… she have me 4 cheese and peppers for a large and didn’t want to give me more when I asked. She charged me for ranch. Realllly???

Well I’m sad to say that I have to downgrade this place to two stars. Tonight my husband was craving pizza and I wanted to watch the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics, so not having to wait for dinner sounded good to me.
Since everyone in our family likes a different set of toppings (and my husband prefers the creamy garlic sauce) we get personal sized pizzas. We got them, came home (about 5 minutes away), got drinks, and sat down to eat. To find that the crust was incredibly thin, the toppings were scanty (especially the meats), and the whole experience was just «enh.»
Disappointing. I like Round Table pizzas, but comparing them to recent pizzas bought at other Round Tables — this one is definitely cutting corners and skimping.
