Some of the best cafeteria food you will find! On Monday, Thursday, and Friday you will find great breakfast food that is cooked to order on the flat top. Monday is omelette, Thurday huevos rancheros, and Friday pancake day. On those days you can get custom things like blueberry, banana, and chocolate pancakes. Throughout the week you will find eggs, bacon, french toast, and other breakfast items in the hot holding area. During the week they serve a variety of good lunch items including fresh made sandwiches and a salad bar. Everything is very affordable and good for cafeteria food. For convenience and great affordability this place is a great 4 star location. If you find yourself at Valley Medical Center I recommend stopping by the cafeteria on the 2^nd floor in the hospital.

It’s a hospital cafeteria. A county hospital cafeteria, to be exact. And, well, the county almost went under last year. It can be said that they’re trying to do the best to stay within their means, and I appreciate that they’re not trying to price-​gouge visitors.
Sandwiches/​wraps are simple but fresh. The woman who prepares them to order is a bit rough around the edges, but $ 2 – 4 for a super filling, non-​greasy meal is hard to come by sometimes.
There’s a monthly menu for all the hot food, though I’ve noticed that you have to get there at a reasonable time (before 1pm) to take part because once they’re out, they’re out. Skip the mac ‘n’ cheese unless you like it mushy. Again, though, all very affordable.

I work at this hospital and eat here frequently… The food is not bad, and you can’t go wrong for $ 3.00 for lunch. They also happen to have excellent coffee here cheap (Superior Coffee Co. for under a buck) or Peet’s at the kiosk downstairs! Their Quiche (on the days that they have it) is the bomb. Other good items include the Kung Pao Shrimp, Sandwhiches, burgers grilled to order, etc.
For those giving 1 and 2 star reviews, that’s harsh… It’s a hospital cafeteria, not the buffet at the Four Seasons. I’ve eaten in plenty of hospital cafeterias, and this one is on par and definitely the most cost effective for your wallet.

The food might look nasty but in my opinion, it isn’t all that bad. I usually get the pasta dishes with a side of veggies, and so far, I haven’t got food poisoning yet! Oh, and the coffee is cheap. You can get a big sized cup of coffee for about 75cents! And, if you want to play it safe, you can always get fruit, yogurt or a donut.
