Stay FAR away. I hired Keith to do something for us because the other companies I called were 2 weeks out in scheduling. He sounded knowledgeable over the phone and was available to come right away. He installed a light fixture for us in our dining room. I didn’t have light bulbs and was not able to check while he was on site. Later, when I finally put in light bulbs, the light didn’t work.
Called him to come back to fix and he refused, saying that he’s sure he did it correctly so it must be the light fixture that’s not working. I feel he should have at least rechecked his work before he blamed the parts. I specifically asked him to check the light fixture before installing it and he said it was fine.
Now we have to hire someone else or eat in the dark for Thanksgiving since we have no working lights.

A professional team that was on time, provided very good information on the estimate and issues, and completed the work ahead of schedule for rewiring an old home. That was 5 months ago and everything still works great.

We used safeside a year ago to install a 200A breaker box and redo some of the wiring in our 40 year old home. They did an excellent job despite having to fish through fresh blown in insulation and working in some really challenging spaces. Our wiring was a mess, but since they fixed it we haven’t had any blow breakers nor any other electrical issues that used to be present.
We used them again today to fix the outdoor lighting on our house that the previous owner botched. After a couple hours of working through the problem, Keith was able to correct the issue on-​site in a couple hours. When we called, Keith responded and was able to drop-​in the same day. That’s what i call service!!!
Co-​workers have also used them and been very impressed. Would definitely recommend them.

I can’t express enough how truly unprofessional this company (Keith) was with me. When I rejected his quote he told me to «F» off. I just feel so relieved that I didn’t actually hire him for my project and so glad his true colors were revealed early on. BEWARE of this contractor. A volitale and vicious attitude.
UPDATE (1÷14÷10):
I’m adding to this review in order to give some credit to Keith for recently sending me an apology email. I will not remove my original feedback as it would be a disservice to the Unilocal community, however I believe he should be positively recognized for his recent attempt to make things right.
