Came here around 7:30pm on a Sunday night. No wait at that time. Ordered the Tom Kaur soup, which was good but sweeter than other Thai restaurants. The catfish dish was unremarkable. The Pad Thai was also tasty, but it was also sweeter compared to other places. Eat here if you like your Thai food on the sweeter side.

One of the best petite casual Thai places to satisfy your craving for a tasty saucy comfort Thai food! This place is quite small, about 10 tables or so. It feels very nice with intimate atmosphere especially during the evening hours. It may be a problem if you have a big party, so just call ahead to make sure they can accommodate. I’ve ordered Pad See Ew with beef, and my husband had a Silver Noodle with tofu, plus fresh coconut. The order was taken promptly and our food followed shortly after that. For some reason our coconut arrived after the food was served. However, it was very fresh and chill. Both meals were good, tasty, saucy, nicely executed, just what we’ve expected. One of the problems of this place though is accommodations. To get yo the restroom, you’ll have to exit the restaurant and go around the building to enter facilities. This is quite inconvenient especially if it is raining outside. Servers get quite nervous and jumpy when guests are about to go out before paying the bill. Nevertheless, I love this place snd will be back!

Roti — bread is on thicker side, but it’s ok. Eggplant tofu — decent Soup — decent Drunken noodle — decent. Portion could be a little better. even though there’s limited number of tables, it’s nice that they try to accommodate families with babies.

This is one our favorite place to have Thai food. Quality and taste of food is really good. Most of all its very consistent. We are fan of Pad Thai, Drunkan noodles and their ice tea. I have seen some reviews here about owner and staff being rude. 1st of all this place is really small, they need to do table management a lot. In no sense I will say anyone here is rude. In very crowded situations also I have seen staff being very polite to everyone.

This place is small, really small. It can barely fit 20 customers, but the food here is quite good. We had the recommended crab noodle, pad thai with beef, and calamari as starter. Everything tasted great. I find the pad thai and crab noodle to have very authentic flavors. The reason I only gave this place 3 stars is due to the price. The price is a bit high for what it is. The pad thai and crab noodle are of decent but not very large portions. The appetizers are also quite expensive as each appetizer is the same price as a main dish, despite being not big in portions. In addition, in terms of flavors, the flavors are authentic but not anything special. Any other Thai restaurants would have equal good tasting Thai food. So for now, I may go seek other places with more decent pricing and equally tasty Thai food.

First off, they make the best green curry but after this last experience I will never come back. You can read my previous review where I raved about the food, however, I usually order for pick up so not much customer facing interaction besides here’s my card. There is 1 guy there who is exceptional so my review is based on my last waitress who just ticked me off. First, there was a table of 4 and the waitress asked the couple to move to a different table and the customer was upset. Then my turn. We just finished our food(pad saw eww, chicken with greens, and green curry seabass where the price is now $ 24.95) and was asked to leave so they can give our table up for the next customer. I already put in a to go order so we still needed to pack up our left overs and wait for our to go order(with 2 toddlers — feel the stress rising) As we were all bundled up in the front along with 7 other packed customers. My left overs dropped and worse of all — green curry all over my prada shoes! I kindly asked the waitress if I could get a replacement brown rice bc it dropped and she told me the price. I then said, look, you guys asked me to leave our table and wanted us to wait in the front where there was no room and now you’re giving me a hard time bc I just wanted a replacement on my rice when I left a huge tip for you guys?! Seriously!!! She made a big stink then handed me a fold top sandwich bag of rice and you couldn’t even put it in a container? It doesn’t stop there. Then you walk by me and mouth something in Thai and all I understood was big tip then something in Thai. Classy! As far as I know you lost 2 customers(me and the guy you move) that day, my friends and anyone who cares about customer service in a restaurant. So sad.

My favorite thai place in the Bay! It’s small and cozy but they have amazing food at good prices. Compared to other thai restaurants in the area that are too sugary or bland, this place has spot on spice and flavor :) :) I like the drunken noodles the most but they also do curries really well. The Tom Yum soup is really great on winter days, it’s spicy and gingery. I feel like I tend to order the same things every time I come here but they’re friendly and welcoming and I love it. Parking is in the back but limited and this spot gets super crowded at peak times!

This spot is sooo tiny. As others have pointed out, you’ve probably driven past this place hundreds of times and never really noticed it. We shared an order of the drunken noodles shrimp and the panang curry with beef, both came out super fast and they were pretty tasty. We had ordered a heat level«spicy» and I’d give it like a 6.5÷10 on a spicy scale. If I was craving Thai in or around the Santana Row area, I’d stop by again but be cautious of the limited parking/seating… Perhaps call ahead.

My favorite Thai place in the Bay Area! It’s a small place, but the food is so good! And it’s SOSPICY. I pride myself in my spice tolerance, but this place is a challenge when I get medium. My favorite dish would be the red curry(any meat) but particularly the duck! The spicy fried rice is yummy too, so is the pad thai. This place gets packed super quickly, and it’s worth the wait. I’ve tried the salads: papaya salad and the shrimp/squid salad and both are really good. I love to finish off the meal with coconut ice cream!

Sad that I’m rating this place 2 stars… Siam Fine Thai Cuisine seems to be one of the most reviewed and highest rated Thai restaurants in San Jose but my family and I just didn’t have a 5, 4, or even 3 star experience here… — Service was slow and waiter seemed a bit frazzled. — Ordered drinks but they never came. The drinks that never came were listed on the bill. Waiter didn’t realize the drinks were forgotten until we requested that the bill be changed. — Portion size for a salmon dish was small. — Pad See Ew was salty. The noodles were quite dark so I think there might have been too much soy sauce put into the dish… — Tom yum soup was too sweet. Expected the soup to have more spice and/or sour flavor… Also, the ladle didn’t really fit in the soup container well… It was a little difficult to scoop the soup. — When a waitress was handing out our soup bowls, she used her fingers to pick out something(maybe a piece of food, dirt, or dust?) from one of the bowls before giving it to us. Probably would’ve been better if she just got a new bowl to replace the one that was dirty… + Enjoyed the soft shell crab dish and the crab fried rice. Both were quite tasty. + There’s a parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Also, these aren’t really negatives but just be aware that the restaurant is small and the kitchen isn’t too separated from the dining area. Your clothes will smell like food after eating here. Overall, the food and service definitely could’ve been better. The restaurant is also pricier than other Thai restaurants I’ve been to… Probably won’t come back. :(

My girlfriend just brought me a to-go order for their dinner portion of bbq pork. Two stars because times must be hard for this restaurant. The $ 10 dinner portion of their bbq pork consists in, no exaggeration, approximately ten very thin slices of what purports to be meat. The bed of three-day old shredded lettuce and the accompanying orange peel(supposed to be an orange, but is really just the rind) fools nobody. Did I get my money’s worth? That depends. Am I a bird? A bird who hates to eat food and whose stomach can be filled with a slice of bread and has no working knowledge of budgets and personal finance? Then yes… $ 10 well spent. But if I am a human with even a regular appetite and values my hard earned money, then no. This dinner sucked. Waste of money. But don’t tell my girlfriend. I’ve attached a picture with a dollar bill next to their dinner portion for comparison. Two stars because times are hard and the three bites it took to finish this dinner was not that bad.

I came here for lunch, and I got the chicken in green curry(mild). The brown rice is $ 1 extra, and it comes in a heart shape on the plate. The lunch is served with a soup, egg roll, and wonton. The egg roll and soup were alright. I didn’t care for the salad or the wonton because the dressing seemed like it was mayo/cool whip based and the wonton just tasted like fried. The curry itself was really good. It wasn’t runny and had a lot of chicken and eggplant in it. My coworkers got the basil stir fry, crying tiger(grilled steak), and the BBQ chicken. All items were finished! Also, this place is tiny, but we got sat right away and it seems like they try to get people out in a timely fashion without forcefully rushing you. Lastly(for the corporate people), this place doesn’t take AmEx.

Siam Fine Thai Cruisine might be a hole-in-the-wall, but it is probably the best Thai place in San Jose! It’s a cute, small and simple place where it almost looks like a regular food-to-go kind of place. It can get crowded where you may feel a bit clustered and can get slightly uncomfortable. Anyways! Even though it’s small, I never really had to wait. But then again, I do go at odd hours. For Drinks, I love their Thai Ice Coffee or Thai Ice Tea! I must have them whenever I am here. It’s good and so refreshing! As for food, I always start off with the Roti appetizer. Basically it’s just Roti with yellow curry dipping sauce. It is quite oily, but still very good. For the main dish, I always go with the Beef Pad See Ew. I tried a variety of their dishes here such as: seafood combination, pad thai, pineapple fried rice, duck curry. Most were all pretty delicious and flavorful. Never have I been disappointed by the food that I have tried here. Also, if you plan on going for lunch, they have really good lunch specials where you order a dish and it comes with soup and an egg roll for such a good price. The service is only okay. Other than ordering my food and asking for my check, there wasn’t any other type of communication. The food sometimes take a really long time to get out and some times it can be fairly quick so I’m not sure what is going on there. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are in the mood for Thai food.

Customer Service– 0ZERO!!! Food average — 3 I have been dying to eat Thai Food for over a century now(exaggeration). You see my lunch partner is 5 months pregnant and is really picky about what she eats. So ethnic food is completely out of the question for her. This being said, i never really get to explore outside the box during the week. Anyways, i asked her to please take one for the team today and go pick up a sandwich for herself so she can go sit with me at a restaurant of my choice. After reading a few reviews i decided to go try this place. We were seated and immediately served water. As soon as our server noticed my friend eating a sandwich(outside food) she asked«are you ordering?» my friend replied no! and the server took her glass of water back and walked away without saying a word. RUDE!!! it did not even end there. the server came back to the table and took the menu out of my friends hand as she was looking over it. We literally just sat there in shock for a few seconds and then eventually bursted out laughing at how ridiculous and dramatic that was. anyways, my order came out to me pretty fast and it was average nothing to rave about. I ordered the GREENCURRY/Chicken. the taste was good but unfortunately the sauce was watery not thick like i like it. I paid for my tab and let the manager and server have a piece of my mind. pointless. you cant argue with stupid!

For an area that is teeming with Asians of all sorts of different ethnicities, it is pretty surprising to me that there is a lack of quality Thai food options. But I left my friend in charge of choosing our spot for lunch and she told me that this really(and I mean REALLY) nondescript spot was one of her favorite Thai places in the entire South Bay. And honestly, if she hadn’t chosen this place, I would’ve never bothered trying to come here. It is literally hole-in-the-wall status. Hell, you would probably pass it without noticing if you weren’t trying to look for it. But some of my favorite restaurants are places I wouldn’t have originally considered, so who am I to judge? Besides, given the long line that started to develop after being seated(and this is lunch), I figured this place must’ve been somewhat decent enough. Noticed there were some items that you can’t really find at your basic, standard fare Thai restaurant(catfish curry, for one), but sometimes you just want to be a little basic heh. Had the fish cake appetizer and beef pad kee mao. You can just tell when the quality is just that little bit better. Plus the fried wonton and extra egg roll on top was definitely a nice touch. And on an overall basis, the lunch specials were reasonably priced. There is a small parking lot in the back, but I would question whether it is sufficient for when this spot gets super busy since it has to cover the entire strip mall. You might have to end up finding some street parking. It is definitely worth the effort it takes to come here though.

We thought of trying this place out for a while, but was always discouraged because of the long line-ups. Today, we got lucky. We arrived around 1pm on Sunday afternoon and barely waited for our table. We just got lucky, because by the time we left, there was a crowd waiting outside the restaurant to be seated. The venue is quite small. They can only accommodate about 45 people or less at a time. It’s quite small, but they managed to make it all work efficiently. We found the food tasty. Although a bit on the sweet side. Our two toddlers loved the Hawaiian Fried Rice. It came with chicken, pineapple, cashew, eggs, carrots, peas, and raisins. We started with Tom Yum Kung. It was tasty, but a bit sweet from what we’re used to. We also had the Seabass, which was a recommended specialty. I really liked. The juicy fried fish in a mixed veggie with a light tasty sauce. Wish the Seabass filet to have no bones. I had to make sure that the pieces I gave to the kids didn’t have any. We found a few bones in it. My hubby loved the BBQ Duck Curry. The Duck was tender and the curry sauce was well-seasoned. It was prepared medium spicy. I would say that their thai dishes are a bit of an Asian fusion style.

Siam Fine Thai Cuisine really stands by its name & one of the best Thai spots in the bay area. Very tasty food, served in decently large quantity. Their Must Try’s are Roti with Yellow Curry, Tom Kha Veggie Soup, Fried Rice, Thai Iced Tea & have heard from our friends that their Non-Veg dishes are good as well. Although it’s a small place, it’s very popular & so expect to wait for a while if you are going on Friday nights or Weekends as they don’t take reservations. Staff are very quick & courteous. Price is decent for the location, being closely situated near Santanarow. I have made frequent visits with my husband & friends so far & am sure to visit again soon.

Not impressed with my first time eating here. Surprised by how small this place is. Pad thai was overly sweet. Green curry was good though. The servers were speaking thai or vietnamese really loud to each other. Overall, food was nothing special.

After done shopping at Valleyfair, we were craving for Thai food! So the nearest are either Krung Thai or Siam Fine. Kind of figured Krung Thai would be very crowded on Saturday night, so we decided Siam Fine instead. It was pretty crowded, but the wait did not took long. We ordered the crab noodles and grilled pork. The crab noodles was very good. The sauce was perfect and the noodles were not dry. The grilled pork was really salty, which I did not enjoy as much. They give you good amount of rice for one person. The customer service was just okay. They did a good job refilling our water, but took too long to take our payment. I guess cuz they’re were only two workers in a busy night. Overall, not bad. I still would like to try other dishes in future, but I prefer other locations.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was delicious! Ordered the Red Dragon(Pad Khee Mao) Beef lunch special for and it came with a complimentary soup and salad. The soup was good and so was the small salad. Definitely a nice touch. The Red Dragon was tasty too. The beef was tender and the noodles were fresh. The fried wontons were a nice complement to the dish too. Requested Mild+ and it wasn’t spicy at all… Service was very good. Thai Tea was decent.
