Been going here for 10+ yrs and customer service has always been great and she backs up her service when they make a mistake. My only complaint is in 10+ yrs she never remembers my name. Lol

Working right around the corner, Star Cleaners is becoming my dry cleaner location of choice and convenience. I personally don’t care if the actual dry cleaning is done off site. As long as my clothes comes back as expected of a dry cleaner and they are able to maintain prices around $ 13 for a 2 piece suit, I’ll be returning. The prices are competitive for being located in downtown. There is a single parking spot outside available which is dedicated specifically for Star Cleaners customers.

Sara, the woman who runs the shop, is very nice and I’ve had mostly positive experiences there. That said, quality of the cleaning has started to slip lately. A problem I’ve always had here, but ignored because everything else was ok, is that my shirts always come back with long wrinkles down the left side. It’s caused by the way they button and hang them. Recently though I’ve had issues with brow iron marks on my white shirts and a white substance on one of my blue shirts.

I’ve been going here weekly for over a year. My shirts always come out nicely pressed and buttons are rarely broken. If you dropoff by 10am then you can pick-up the same day at 5pm. The actual dry cleaning is done off-site. Recently I got a white shirt back that had what looked like marker and highlighter on the sleeve. She sent it back for stain removal but when I went back today it was only halfway removed. She said that she’d send it back a 2nd time for further treatment but I don’t have much faith in it coming out. What disturbs me most is the lack of customer service. In a situation like this I would expect replacement of the shirt or some free dry cleaning credit especially since I am a long time customer that spends about $ 100 a month with her. Because of that I am going to start looking for another cleaner and cannot fully recommend this place. A photo of the damage is in the gallery for your reference.

I’ve only been here once. And the was enough. I will agree that the lady is very nice. And most of my items came out nicely. However, I had one dress which was black and cream colored that was literally ruined. From what the woman told me the process they used caused the black to bleed onto the cream causing the cream to become a dull light gray. My once vibrant dress became drab, and no longer matched the pre-dry cleaning matching cream colored jacket. After returning to the store 3 times after each of their attempts to restore the color the lady and I both agree that the dress was ruined. As if a new $ 200 dress going to waste wasn’t enought, I also wasn’t given a refund for the cleaning service!

Can you believe it? A dry cleaner who returns your message. Excellent CS skills and reasonable price, not to mention turnaround time and store hours(7:30−6pm weekdays). The woman who works there has a great attitude and always helpful. If your looking for a neighborhood cleaner, look no further.

I love this dry cleaner because, no only do they do a great job, the service is awesome. The lady who works here is always so kind, friendly and amicable. They have always had my clothes on time and perfectly done, except for one time — and because the clothes were two days late, she didn’t charge me for the cleaning. I scarcely ever find a customer service person who admits they are at fault, but she apologized for the mistake and inconvenience and didn’t charge me for the cleaning. I really appreciate that gesture.
