Steve Glaze, owner of Tone Freq Studios, has done recordings of my music on multiple occasions. Most recently we did a group vocal recording of a song I wrote and it went really well. Steve’s studio and his work are outstanding.

I got bumped from a session by these guys and didn’t appreciate it. I had to rebook my hired musicians and change everyone’s schedules. Being bumped by these guys didn’t sit well with me. I ended up taking my business to another well known recording studio where they DON’T bump clients.

Steven is a professional, he’s a straight forward guy who helps the artist while recording. The studio is a very nice and cozy studio, its got a large booth that makes you comfortable while singing/​rapping, etc. and their equipment is excellent as well.

Don Budd is the absolute best sound engineer! When I come in to record a vocal track, he’s right there with me every step of the way. He’s my extra set of ears and his intuition and personal musicianship make a session with him extremely efficient. It’s like. I can just give him a look and a que. and he’ll know exactly where to rewind for a double take. There are cheaper places out there. but trust me. they will end up taking more of your time in the end. and Don’s prices are really reasonable for what he can do. Tone Freq is my GO TO studio, and Don will make your mix sound any way you want it to sound. He’s got an arsenal of mics, and analog equipment paired with a semi digital interface. I’ve heard amazing results that span a single folk artist. capturing the creaks and slides of the acoustic guitar, to a 80’s metal band complete with echoing drums.

Amazing set up and engineers. Don Budd has been a Musician his whole life as well as behind the mixing board. Steve Glaze is still currently rocking stages and has a great ear for mixing and mastering. They can equally accommodate a Hip hop artist or Heavy Metal band. If you want a top notch studio in San Jose, then you only have 1 option — TONE FREQ STUDIOS
