There’s no calamari(body) here. So I tried the baby octopus and it’s extremely oily. And here, there’s no spoons.

I love the Matcha Red Bean milktea. I ordered the daddy size and I finished it all :))) You should try it!

The first thing I noticed when I entered the establishment were the employees. The same ones I see at Chatime — is this location a separate business venture from the Alum Rock Chatime franchise owners? Not sure. The drink set up is similar to Chatime as well, but they only offer a fraction of the menu. TeaBella has roasted milk tea, which I tried, and it was the same as the one from Chatime, except blander. The plaza this place is located in is inundated with lots of boba places already, but out of all of them, I would probably choose to come back here if I really wanted something similar to Chatime and was closer to this location instead. Personally, the sizes«baby, mommy, and daddy» make me uncomfortable, so I would only order in small, medium, or large. The cups are plain cups with a giant sticker of their logo slapped on there. I don’t really like it, but most might not care as much about it as I do– as long as the drinks are good. Maybe I’ll try it again. But if you are offering the same drinks as Chatime… I would love to see Brown Rice Green Milk Tea on your menu!

Very cute décor inside and out drinks were made fairly quick despite it being crowded. I got the winter-melon milk tea with white pearls and it was yummy! Don’t forget to check in to get free toppings. Will definitely come back to try the other snacks they have

It’s is true that the drinks here may be sweet but, everyone is different ;). I love drinking the fruit teas! I think that they are pretty on point when it comes to customizing your drinks. I am not much of a sweet person, so the max level of sweetness would be 30% for me. My favorites are 1. Mango green tea with no sugar and mango stars and with a bit extra syrup if I get no toppings. 2. Winter melon with Jasmine tea and Aloe Vera with 30% to zero percent sweetness.

A new tea joint in a plaza full of other tea joints, definitely must try. I ordered the wintermelon milk foam and my boyfriend ordered the strawberry black tea with pearls. The wintermelon milk foam was good, but it was also lacking something. I really liked the taste of the foam though. It’s sweet and really enhances your drink! However, this drink wasn’t too bad and I’d recommend it for wintermelon lovers. The strawberry black tea wasn’t as sweet as we’d like it to be. The tea was a little too unsweetened which made it borderline watered down. Pearls have good texture but needs more flavor/sweetness as well. This place has good potential and I hope they will improve in the future! Definitely coming back to try their different drinks and their variety of snacks though.

The jasmine milk tea is quite creamy and the pearls are soft and chewy. Just the way I like it, but somehow I don’t really taste any uniqueness to the drink. It almost tastes the same as some other boba shops I’ve been too. I don’t think their drinks are bad nor are they amazing either. I will probably give this place another chance since they are relatively new.

This place has taken over the cursed location of the Paloma Plaza. There were at least 3 other boba places that was located in the same spot that didn’t make it here(Tii Café, –18 degrees and Bobo). So it was interesting to see another one popped up here accepting the Boba shootout in the Paloma Coral. Of course we had to try out this tea shop to see why they believe they got what it takes to beat their competitors. We tried 4 drinks. Jasmine Milk Tea — Bland and watered down Roasted Milk Tea — Taste as if they added chocolate powder in the mix… killed the roasty flavor Wintermelon Milk Foam — What the hell is this? I don’t taste wintermelon at all but it tastes like jasmine tea with a hint of coffee… ugh Mango Green Tea — You can’t even taste the tea but only mango syrup Base on these four drinks I believe CTB is probably still the best place in this plaza. I know they just open so I’m willing to give them another try after a couple of months.

Another tea shop to take over this location! This review is based solely on the milk tea I got. I order jasmine milk tea anywhere I go cause I believe it’s the most basic drink and you can’t mess up on that right? I got a regular Jasmine Milk Tea w/boba and my gf got a Wintermelon Milk Foam. The jasmine did not taste like jasmine at all. sad. It was watered down and tasted like it was mixed with some darker tea. The overall taste was just odd for me. The boba was nice and chewy but lacked sweetness. My gf seemed to like the winter melon milk foam which is good. Their selection of snacks look appetizing and they also serve ramen! I’ve yet to try them and hopefully it’ll be good enough to change my rating. Staff is also friendly and the place looks really nice.

Had a Thai tea here tonight. Pretty good #smirkface in definitely going to try everything on the menu as I am a tea connoisseur. The amount of sugar added was on point. Great place to study and get stuff done !

I’ve been wanting to try this new boba place! I believe this establishment replaced BoBo Drinks? The interior is super clean and pretty for a boba place! They are actually doing a raffle right now for an iPad as well! The girl said they were planning to choose the winner at the end of the month, so don’t forget to drop your raffle ticket in the box at the counter! I ordered the jasmine milk tea with pearls and my boyfriend ordered the passionfruit tea with pearls. We ordered both of our drinks with 50% ice and 100% sweetness. The pearls were nice and chewy! I thought the passionfruit drink was super sweet(which I like). But if you don’t like your drinks super sweet and you want the passionfruit tea, order it with 50% sweet! I think the 100% sweetness for the jasmine milk tea was perfect. The place is cash only! Also be careful with finding parking, this plaza has crazy Asian drivers lol!

This place just opened up last week so I decided to give it a try it’s new and it was really pretty inside. Kevin, the guy at the counter helped me and he as very welcoming. I came for the ramen, but he said it wouldn’t be ready until next week. So instead, me and my girl ordered the beignets. They were ready in about 5 minutes. We loved it, it was really good. We’ll be coming back.

I went on the soft opening day so I didn’t have very high expectations. They even had a sign printed next to the cash register that essentially was an advanced apology for any mistakes. Still, the experience wasn’t great because the staff wasn’t prepared. To me, soft openings encompass things like limited menu choices, lack of reliability for machines or other equipment, and lack of coordination between team members. «Green» workers are just bad for any establishment, at any point in the business, as their lack of knowledge and/or professionalism makes for bad customer service. The worker who helped me didn’t know about their promo deal(buy one, get one), so when I kept asking about it, she was confused. I had to actually point out the sign, and when she turned it around on the counter, she admitted she had not even seen it! To me, that’s just poor preparation. Then there was inconsistency in how she referenced the drink sizes. Their menu uses the terms«baby, mommy, daddy». She kept using the word«regular» which apparently was the equivalent of «baby». Further, she could not, for the life of her, remember the percentages of sweetness and ice levels for my 2 drinks. I had to correct her 4 times as she keyed in my order! The music was also very loud in their space, so it was hard to hear in general. The drinks were just ok. I got the red bean matcha with boba and a lychee black tea(no additions). The boba wasn’t very chewy(slightly undercooked) and the tea seemed to have some faint jelly bits. I probably just got the inexperienced worker, but since the drinks themselves weren’t anything distinctive, I doubt I will return.

Already been here a few times even though they JUST opened, but whatever no shame! Love the jasmine and roasted milk tea, perfect amount of tea flavor and creaminess(the milk is non-dairy). Unlike other milk tea places, you can really taste the roasted flavor here and can even adjust the sweetness of your drinks to your liking. If you’re a huuugeee chocolate lover like I am, try the chocolate milk foam! You won’t be disappointed ^_^ The beignets and crepes here are SO good! Got the banana and nutella crêpe and it was so yummy that my boyfriend and I finished it even though we were already full from eating phở from next door. The ice cream in the middle just topped it all off Will be back to try the ramen!

Today was the grand opening of «tea bella» which tbh isn’t a great name to start with. It’s very random in fact. Anyways, i came in from eating next door. The décor is really pretty and modern. The workers were very inviting and welcoming. Everyone seemed to be just staring at us as we came closer to the counter. The menu just had the basics but nothing too special however they do have lattes i want to try! The sizes are baby, mommy and daddy lol really weird yet cute in a way. My sister and i both ordered and i got the roasted milk tea with boba and she got the jasmine milk tea with grass jelly. The roasted milk tea tasted funny to me but maybe its because its different from cool tea bars, it wasn’t that bad though(don’t recommend getting). On the other hand, i recommend getting the jasmine milk tea! Its so creamy and really refreshing in my opinion. With all the competition in this plaza, this would probably be my third choice to go to if I’m really craving milk tea.

Such friendly staff they have here. I ordered the milk foam matcha and jasmine, and OMG so good. I was really impress with the matcha. This place will definitely be on my list, since some boba around the area has downgraded in my opinion.

Given their new establishment, there’s still a bit of kinks to work out, and thus the generous star rating. The logo is cute, and the naming of their sizes are interesting, ranging from ‘baby’ to ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ to choose from. Ordered 25% ice, 80% sweetness Wintermelon milk foam + regular pearls. They definitely heeded the ice request, but the 80% sweetness is still overly sweet, leading me to question how 100% sweetness would taste like. The boba was hard and difficult to chew, but the flavour tea itself was fine. As for pricing, it’s on the steeper end with most of the drinks at baby size costing $ 3.25 with $ 0.50 surcharge for toppings. Especially in a plaza with so many boba establishments, I sincerely hope for quick improvements!
