The First Tee of Silicon Valley

As a participant myself I think it is a AWESOME organization. It teaches me so much! Things like their core values and how to have good respect or judgment or sportsmanship and much more. They also improve your golf so well. I remember the first time I started this organization I could barely hit my ball 5 yards and now after 5 years I can at least drive 207 yards! They also improved my confidence much more and improved my teqnique. They have great oppertunities too like the nature valley open and may more. All the Coaches are so fun to work with and always so encouraging! They make sure everyone is caught up and having fun too. They help you so much! When you join this organization you make friends for life too. I know that many people and I have made so many life time friends! This is also a Non profit organization.

My 6 year old son is currently on his second session at the Gavilan Golf Course in Gilroy. I am thouroughly impressed with this organization and all the staff thus far. Coach Craig and Coach Manny work so well with the kids and are one of the many reasons my son wanted to come back for a second session.
There are so many positives with this organization: It’s a great value compared to other extra curricular activities. Your child will not only learn the game of golf along with proper etiquette, but will also learn important life skills that are reinforced at each practice and at home with some light homework.
I can not say enough good things about The First Tee. My son really looks forward to golf each week, and is learning so much. I know that he has found his passion! Thanks First Tee for making the game of golf such a positive experience for my son.
