We were quoted a $ 75 dollar an hour rate for handyman work for two hours. They sent us two handyman (we only asked for one) and decided to charge us double rate without our permission. This is all they did:
Measured 5 windows and a door
measured the length of our deck’s stairwell
glued two shelves
Took 5 – 6 pictures
Filed down a security door latch to allow it close again (which promptly didn’t work the next day)
Put up a pair of small solar powered automatic lights
This is not the work of two men over two hours, especially since the second handyman was just following the first around. I was so outraged when I saw the bill and I have immediately put it into dispute. I will revise review if the company is willing to apologize abd go back the agreed rate. Otherwise, buyer beware.
