Touch of Elegance Nail Spa

Officially love this place and my favorite now.
I keep trying other places but nobody ever does as good a job as Stacey at Touch of Elegance.
She is also a painter and it shows on her nail work plus her paintings on display in the shop are amazing.

This salon is small but they do a good job. I have been getting lots of compliments for my nails and they stay on till the next fill Stacy is amazing she can also do lash extensions very nice lady always smiling. If you have in grown nails look for Lee she’s the best doesn’t hurt at all she know what she’s doing. She’s the best!

Love these ladies! They are so awesome and friendly. I called in last minute for a fill and they were very nice to still have me come in. The owner and her sister are so friendly and helpful. I will def be going back when I need a fill and to get my lashes tinted! I absolutely love my nails! Btw the owner is an exceptional painter!!! Ask her about it and to show you. She offered to do a painting for me and I just need to decide on a pic! $ 25 for acrylic fill and shellac color plus great company!

I have been a loyal client for a couple years now and this year it has just gone down hill and I am so disappointed because this was my go-​to place! I have made 2 appointments in the last month and both times have made me wait for over half an hour after my scheduled time. They are rushing, because they are so busy, which makes their work less quality. I feel like this business is wanting more quantity and offering less quality. I had a manicure done and the next day, I had 3 nail chips! If I were to go back then they will have to choose to say no so many walk-​ins and take their time on their clients, I go for «me» time and I just feel rushed! If no changes are made I will not be coming back.

I had an appointment for 1. I got there and was told it would be a 15 minute wait. It turned into a half an hour wait. I got a shellac mani (gel) which chipped the next day. Don’t waste your time or money!

I only leave Unilocal reviews when I love or hate a place, so here I go. Touch of Elegance nail salon is the BEST. I’ve followed the women who work here for over 20 years (when they were «90’s nails»). Stacy is the owner and the only one I go to for fills. She knows how to fix my «problem» nail and never complains when I ask her to repair the nail I just «bumped.» Lee does my toes and facial wax. She hums/​sings in a low Vietnamese tones, which I love. This nail shop is serene, has great prices, and provides professional service. That’s what I want. How bout you? :)

We followed these ladies since they were at 90’s nails. They are all so great at their job and are all so sweet.

This place has not gotten the memo that talking about your paying customers in another language is not appropriate.
No, I may not know what you are saying but I know you are mad that I asked to try another color, or that I was asking about the gel colors you had but decided not to get it afterall.
I also know you are mad that I asked you to fix my nail shape and remove the obviously hanging cutile you left. I guess I am used to someone making all my nails the same shape and not leaving me skin hanging like it gotten eaten by a pirahna.
I did note they had some gel I have never seen before, mood gel. It changes color from temperature. From reading other reviews though I do not think they know how to apply gel.
The massage chairs work great and that was the only reason I tipped.
The actual arm and leg massages are not qualified for tip, and I am not paying you $ 5more dollars to use salt scrub that most places do normally.
Oh, I guess you can say I also tipped becaue she did not dig into my toe cuticles like she was looking for gold. It was fast and effiective without pain.
My manicure is chipping two days later. The clear coat is bubbly so you know it was going to happen.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Touch of Elegance for more than 5 years and that is saying a LOT when you consider the options in nail spas in this area. Jenny is OUTSTANDING in her technique and fast! If a nail breaks or I have any issue with the manicure, I return and have it fixed for free. And the pedicures are wonderful too… the chairs are super comfy, they disinfect the bowls after each use and the pedicures are very relaxing. Not sure about that pedicure review by a disgruntled customer, because the things she mentioned have not been indicative of my experience here.
They have a large selection of polish colors to choose from, including OPI. I’m an OPI girl myself, but I always bring in my own color because I want to make sure that I’m going to get the color that I want that day. They also offer airbrushing, Shellac, permanent make up and waxing.
I used to live 2 minutes away from the salon and have since moved further away, and there are two nail salons at the end of my block, yet I still go to Touch of Elegance because they know what they are doing. Try them out… you won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to this nail salon for about 8 years now and they never fail to impress. I am always pleased with the services and prices and the women that work there are so kind and welcoming. They have amazing massage chairs and their salon is very clean. I would definitely recommend this place!

Good, just not great. I went today to have my 3-​week old shellac manicure soaked off, and once done soaking the woman DRILLED the rest of it off! That’s a big no-​no. I got a regular manicure to give my nails a break, but the color selection wasn’t that great. And when I was supposed to be drying, I was put under a UV lamp instead of a fan to dry the old fashioned way. Once I got home, both of my middle fingers had been smudged without me knowing. I will not be going here again.

I’ve been coming here for about 12 years and every once in a while will try another nail salon that a friend recommends and end up regretting it. Stacy and all the girls are wonderful. Prices are great and most of all service is amazing. It’s the cleanest nail salon I’ve been to!

I used to always come here when the first owner had opened it up, but then i after she sold it i saw it go down hill after that… im glad to finally say this place has stepped up to be better than the first owner. i always get my nails done by jenny and i love her work soo much that i don’t even have to tell her what i want or how i want it done. she always does a GREAT job! and the ladies that are their for the pedicures… oh man they are amazing! if you need ur nails/​toes done. this is the place to go!

So on Saturday, July 2 I came in with my mom and we both got pedicures and Shellac manicures. First off the pedicure was terrible. The massage (if you would even call it that) lasted about 1 minute and next thing you know she painted my toes and moved me over to the nail station. I couldn;t believe that’s what my $ 20 bought me. I’ll continue to go to Strawberry Nails on Meridian for pedicures that include an excellent massage for $ 25.00. If that wasn’t bad enough, my pedicure chipped the next day and both my my shellac manicure and my mother’s came off after a few days. Shellac manicures are supposed to last 14 days, not 2, which is why we paid $ 25 for them. I went back after my manicure came off and had them redo it, sure enough it chipped the next day. Apparently, these women do not know how to correctly do a shellac manicure. They should not advertise that they do 14 day shellac manicures if they don’t know how to do them. I’m sorry I wasted the time to go back and have them fix it when it only lasted a day. I won’t be back.

My sister just recently introduced me to this CUTE little nail spa. Since then, I’ve been trying my best to make it a weekly thing. I never ask for anybody specific because they’re all super nice and sweet and they all do a wonderful job! I really love the décor of this place, its nice and cozy and has a «home» feeling to it. It’s really cute and i adore this place so much. All of the technician ladies are great and I never have a complaint about them. I’ve been meaning to add them on Unilocal after i tried to «check in» & come to my surprise, nothing popped up. They really deserve this 5 star review!
