I have never had such terrible service. And this happens every time I come here and I have been here about 5 times the last 2 months. The waitresses don’t know who ordered what. They just bring plates out and ask who ordered what. As I type this 6 people have their food and I have been waiting for 5 minutes. They brought chips and salsa out, which was spicy so we were thirsty. We didn’t get drinks for 15 minutes. How does a restaurant expect you to eat spicy chips n salsa without drinks. And I had to go to the bar and get napkins for our table. I just got my food. The order is wrong. Now we have been out of salsa for 10 minutes for the tacos. Now we are out of drinks again. What a terrible cycle. This is pretty typical. You must have patience to eat here. The food is pretty good.

This place is really good. I will be going back. I had a chile relleno with a carne asada taco rice and beans the food has really good taste compare to other mexican food restaurants here in san clemente. Good thing San Juan is not that far from SC so defiantly will be going back again soon.

Oysters are delicious! Every time I’m in San Juan Capistrano I go to Cancun for mexican food. No matter what I order it is always amazing and there is always a lot of it! I especially love the oysters and the enchiladas and of course the chips and salsa are the best around

My friend and I stopped by this place for lunch today. They have a huge menu so it took a bit of time to decide, but we finally settled on the carne asada burrito with green suace and the chili verde. Both dishes were delicious! Our waitress was friendly and refilled our cokes without us having to ask her to do so. We noticed that they had three large screen t.v.‘s and thought that it would be a great place to catch a soccer match. They have a beer and wine license so we will definately be back to take advantage of that another time. This place most definately made it onto my top three Mexican Restaurants to frequent, frequently list. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic seafood and the flan is the best I’ve ever tasted. Very authentic casual place with great food. I come for lunch a few times a month. Service is laid back and nobody is in a hurry but that is a plus here. Looking for a great lunch to relax and enjoy authentic Mexican seafood. This is the place.

Good food. HORRIBLESERVICE. The waitress checked on us once and forgot our utensils. No personality at all. It looks like she hates her job.

If you want really good Mexican food this is the place. I’ve hit all the Mexican restaurants in the area and this is by far is the tastiest. The owners are very personable and nice. The staff is very happy and very courteous and very good at what they do. The cooks here are phenomenal. Place is clean and very authentic I give this place a 5 star rating. Cancun’s is the best posole I’ve ever had

Food is delicious!!! Drinks suck to be honest from their horchata to micheladas. Bomb chips and salsa. The manager is great but employees are kinda slow. We always seat our selves and it takes a while to get helped. The food always comes out pretty fast. The molcajete is the best! Great food, Ok service. Bad drinks.

Service is lacking BUT the food makes up for it — it’s great. Especially awesome is this green sauce they have on their salsa bar. It’s kind of creamy and is made from Jalapeños and olive oil(according to our waiter).

Driving through San Juan Capistrano, and I remembered stopping by over 10 yrs ago for great tamales and chicharrón en chile verde. But when we arrived it was gone. The smell of this restaurant was calling me in. The place was clean and very presentable. Staff was kind. Coffee delicious. The menudo looked great, but didn’t taste very good. I saw a couple of street workers eating some, but left it almost immediately. I figured they needed to get back to work. But after tasting that I understood why they left.

Good steak, beans and rice. Although, I ordered chilaqueles(spicy tortilla casserole) and it wasn’t as authentic as I hoped. Not to mention the seats were very old and the waitress only spoke Spanish. This place is good if you want cheap, somewhat authentic, Mexican food.

Came here for the first time today. The people are nice and restaurant is clean. I had a burrito. We will try it again. My reason for the two stars is … There is far to much raw onions on the burrito. Felt like I was eating onions and not a burrito. Onion after taste is not pleasant to continue your day with. Please lay off the raw onions ! In fact there was more onions on the burrito than there was beans or rice. I wanted to give this place five stars.

Accidental discovery on a drive from LA to Portland! Amazingly good. casual atmosphere but excellent and affordable food. I had what I must say was the best Menudo I have ever had. The salsa was wonderful. I wish i lived closer to this place.

Great new Mexican seafood restaurant in SJC. Excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner. All around good food, but their seafood menu is amazing. Try the chile verde omelette for breakfast. One of my favorite Mexican breakfast dishes I’ve had. Anything with shrimp is also terrific.

My first visit to the restaurant was for Sunday night dinner with my cousin and his family who happen to live right down the street from here. He is always on the lookout for authentic Mexican food restaurants in this area and has tried most of the ones there but none seem to have that real authentic taste, so we decided to try this one out. We came in and were greeted and seated immediately. Staff was very friendly and the décor is pretty cool, open, and very clean. I had the Cielo, Mar, y Tierra dish which is huge and it includes rice, beans, small salad, flank steak(carne asada), grilled chicken breast, and grilled butterflied shrimp. My taste buds were having a party on every bite with how much flavor everything had. Other people at the table had the Tradicional Carne Asada Wet Burrito, Caldo de Pollo, and the Carne Asada plate. The burrito was huge and tasted great. Half the burrito was dressed with red sauce and the other half had green sauce and it was split in the middle with sour cream. Both sides of the burrito had just the right amount of kick and full of flavor but we all definitely leaned toward the green sauce. We even took some extra green sauce home for the left overs. Didn’t try any of their beer selection but I did have their Agua de Limon(Lemon water) which was made from freshly squeezed lemons and tasted like it was made at home. Wanted to try the Horchata but they were out of it at the moment. Definitely a must on the next visit. It was a great experience and we are all definitely looking forward to visiting this place again real soon!

Our first visit to this new restaurant, LOVED it! Food is delicious and well-priced, beer choices are great, service was friendly. Tried the chicken enchiladas made with chopped, grilled chicken breast and yummy red sauce. Definitely would order them again! Got Caldo de Pollo for the kids, great flavor! Perfect for this cold day! Hubby had the wet burrito with asada, huge and delicious! Also tried the asada quesadilla for an app, sooo good! Try the horchata for sure! They add strawberries, such a nice surprise! Overall, had a wonderful experience at Cancun and will make another trip there very soon!
