Do not… Do not see this doctor, I went to Mission Laguna Beach in a medical Emergency… Injured at work I have 5 ruptured discs c4,5,6,7 and t8,9,10… Upon seeing an orthopedic surgeon after this quack it’s likely I will need surgery after 6 weeks of intense pain management and therapy two other physicians and a nuero agree! Pino as have a hard time calling him doctor verbally abused me, berated me, embarrassed me –while hospitalized and put under his care. See unbenounced to me not being from California this hospital is famous for working with mentally ill and drug addicted patients… He judged me by my cover! Period! Heavily tattooed, not looking my best and in extreme pain everyone is an addict to him… He tore into my room at 11 pm woke me up to scream at me without even a test or exam! I’m a vet with no insurance and this was his diagnosis. Well Pino ! I have 2 jobs … After leaving a management position with a fortune five hundred company, Decorated Marine, Inaugural Guard, former pro trainer and bodybuilder, father of a U.S. Marine and great human being ! Never had a drug/​alcohol related offense, addiction or any other problem before walking into your hospital and seeing you ! First pill I took was prescribed by your hospital in fact that’s all you did… I had to go to another hospital who finally found my injury ! Your license should be pulled ., I’ve contacted an attorney and notified the State Medical Boards by starting a formal complaint… You and this hospital are liable I will see to that ! If you are seriously injured Do Not see Doctor David Pino ! I would give a negative 0 rating if this app would let me !!

I have been a patient of Dr. Pino’s since 2002, has helped me with all my medical issues/concerns.He is very attentive and thorough. Now that 40 is around the corner all new health stuff arouses. My wife now has made him her PCP and is glad that she did. I don’t trust many other doctors. So many bad experiences. Grateful Dr. Pino is caring compassionate detailed oriented, invested in his patients.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Pino. When I took my mom in (92 years old) to see him, she was in desperate need of controlling her blood pressure. Her previous doctor had her on a cocktail of meds, insisting there was nothing more that could be done. Dr Pino took a lot of time with her, and with a bedside manner that cannot only be appreciated by the elderly. He then recommended her to see a hypertension specialist. I was impressed as the specialist not only found the cause of her blood pressure being out of control, but also put her on the correct medicinal regimen while confering with Dr. Pino. I respect a doctor like
Dr. pino that doesn’t want to hog the whole show or give up, but is eager to get to the root of the patient’s problem by sending them to the right specialist. I have a very high regard for this doctor, both my husband and I have also become his patients we look forward to our first visit this week. ps… also whatever the issue with my mom, I know I can call on short notice and he will fit her in his busy schedule.

I saw Dr. Pino for many years… and because I was young with no real problems other than needed antibiotics here and there, it was okay for me… but as I got older, I realized that all he ever did was see me very quickly and get me and out fast. and give multiple prescriptions every single time I was there… one time he even looked at me and said I looked Depressed so he gave me depression medication… what an idiot. Shouldn’t he ask me what is going on with my life to determine if I was depressed before giving me that… I never used that medication since he was all wrong… I will never ever go to see him again… one time he even yelled at me for looking at my blackberry… what does he think… he is god??? Me thinks NOT! He is simple primary care doc who needs to retire and stop just writing prescriptions all day long… I would recommend that everyone STAY AWAY from this doctor… in my opinion he is truly one of the worst physicians you can have because he never took the time to really understand my background, family medical history… nothing! Horrible so called physician.
