The lead instructor Sensei Ian Miller really cares about his students progress. He spends additional time working with those who need extra help and makes a point to meet with the parents on a regular basis to discuss their personal progress.
They just under went a massive renovation and brought on some additional help too. This Dojo has been in San Juan Capistrano since 1994 and it keeps gets better and better.
You not only will have more fun then you ever thought… you learn about your personal potential. The greatest benefit is that you actually learn real life saving self defense skills. «Common sense before self defense». So many other martial arts studios in our community only keep you active and focus on strictly competition. They teach Tae Kwon Do. I’m not looking for a sport, to keep myself busy. I’m looking for a place to truly learn self defense and martial arts. This is that place. The martial arts taught here is called Shaolin Kempo Karate

Great community oriented business. Ian Miller actively engages with many local organizations and you can tell he has a passion for teaching the United Studio style of Self Defense. He recently bought the place from the old owner and completely remodeled the studio. He shows he cares and he’s in it for the long haul.
