This is a brand new review for this excellent company. After thoroughly enjoying the quality of their kitchen cabinets for my own home’s remodeling in the Summer of 2014(you can see my two previous reviews for details), I came back to H&L when my parents needed to remodel their rental townhouse in November 2015. I am happy to report nothing has changed since my first experience with H&L — still fantastic customer service, quality cabinets, fast turnaround time, and competitive pricing. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon with some chicken-scratch drawing of the kitchen schematics on a 3″ x 3″ sticky note paper; but Jason took what I had and created a beautiful, perfectly on-point, and computerized rendering of the new kitchen. I ordered their Maple(dark, reddish brown) color kitchen cabinets and White colored bathroom vanity. By Tuesday night(two days later), my entire order was complete and ready for pick up. In addition to purchasing the cabinets, this time I also bought the quartz counter-top from H&L. The reason I did not purchase my own kitchen counter top previously from H&L is because their counter top selection is limited and they did not carry the color/pattern I needed for my own remodeling. [Their true strength and focus are on cabinets]. This time, however, I found good matching counter tops for the Maple cabinets(kitchen) and the White cabinets(bathroom). Although I prefer a one-stop shop over procuring material from different vendors, you can’t go wrong with H&L’s cabinets. Get your cabinets from H&L and you can always look for counter tops elsewhere. Hope my one-man-promotional/cheer-leading efforts here will be enough to persuade you to give H&L a chance. They don’t carry high-end material, but how many of us really need high-end material? If you are scouring Unilocal for reviews, it’s very likely you are in the same boat as me — regular folks with regular incomes trying to find the best bang for your buck. H&L carries quality material at a price you and I can afford. Give H&L a call. Ask for Jason. And thank me later in a private message.
