Reprint Mint

Very knowledgable staff. We had a wood mounted Sutro Baths print with a broken mount due to 20+ years and the heat of summer in the Mission. Since it was originally purchased at the Reprint Mint in Berkeley, since closed, they offered to remount it for us at no cost. We picked it up a week later and we’re excited to get it back up on the wall!

The best. I love this place. It’s such a shame the Berkeley store is no longer. But thank goodness they are still around.

Damian is awesome. He really knows retouching and took on a challenging project (old, damaged negative, very specific cropping and re-​touching opinions) with no worries. He connected me with a local framer and co-​ordinated getting me exactly what i wanted at a lower cost than online would have been. The print is huge and looks amazing and was framed very well and securely. He went above and beyond and i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

As a photographer in the Bay Area, it’s always important to find a good printer. Someone who knows what they’re doing, who cares, who is professional, understanding of pickiness, and who wants to help you to get your prints looking there best. Damian (previously at Pictopia) is the master of the 50″ wide Digital C (LightJet) printer that now is in a large warehouse space in San Leandro. While I’ll admit the location is not five stars; the kind, hard working, knowledgeable Damian is now worth about ten to me… so I drive south, we work on prints until they are glowing, and then he will wrap them up and deliver them, or mount them here for you if that’s what you wish.
Damian is a professional, kind, trustworthy guy. For anyone looking for archival digital C-​prints, it’s worth the drive. Also, he can print bigger than most of the places in town.

these guys are very professional and accommodating!!! we have been having reprint mount our pictures for over 5 years now and every time we bring them stuff its done quick!!! they will even box up the mounted prints for shipping!!! AWESOME job guys keep it up!!!
