I have, admittedly, been to this bar ONCE… when I lived in the east bay a few years back and didn’t want to venture over the bridge for a few low-key beers. while i’m always down with dive bars, this place was super sketchy; all patrons mean-mugged for no reason, inattentive service and just an overall seedy spot. I’ve been in some sketchy places in my life, more than I’d like to admit, but I felt genuinely worried that something was about to go down. my nerves were calmed when I check SFist this morning to see that someone was murdered out front and two were severely injured in front of… you guessed it, shooters: see here: I knew my gut feeling was spot on, this place needs to be shut down ASAP. no wonder they call it shooters.

I came here with my best friend to have drinks and relax. I was always wondering what kind of environment was at shooters. I was introduced to it and made a cake. What a beautiful little spot to have drinks, listen to hip hop music, listen to the latest R&B. The bartender was absolutely fantastic. She served the stiffest strongest few drinks but I have had in a bar or club in quite some time and that includes commercial bars and clubs. My drinks were strong the environment was nice it was what I was looking for to hang out. That being said this is a hip hop R&B very ethnic environment. So if you’re not into that, I would not suggest coming here. There is plenty of parking on the front and on the curb and street sign. There are plenty of other choices nearby to suit your accommodations and needs if this is not the place for you. Warning this is not for everybody. I will come back here alone for the drinks and the inexpensive prices for those drinks, and to listen to some old school and new school hip hop music and relax with in the company of good friends. The seating is not the best, and there are not a lot of seating areas does standing up and having a woman with you with Heal is not a good place. There is limited seating and limited games, small TVs and darkly lit. But this is what I was looking for an ethnic dive bar and this is what I received. Enjoy yourself and get some good drinks and delicious cocktails.

This is a recent review. 2015. Not many other review here that are recent. Do not come here. First hint: The Alameda County Sheriff’s Dept has a station about 500 feet from this joint and they are waiting on you and the gang bang group here. I have seen them close this place down early with officers in the bar and the street blocked. Aside from that, I’ve been here several times to check it out. It’s a ghetto bar with guys who don’t even work there sitting on stools outside patting you down for weapons and saying, «What you got on you? You been here before?» Am I gonna get shot here? Should I have weapons? Was I supposed to have been here before? Is it your business whether I have been here before? And oh yeah, who the F are you guys asking me if I’ve ever been there before? After that, you get in this place you get stared down by a trashy inked up blonde girl who clearly eats 5 bags of Doritos a day and when you tell her what you want she walks away. When she comes back, same thing. Ask her a third time? You are told to leave. Why? «Because.,» she says. Ask again why and she starts talking about«calling people.» No joke. That is her game. Saw it three times in three weeks. I love dive bars but his place is slime with bullets waiting when you leave, and who knows what else is going on here. Looks like some working girls and their ummm… «managers» are hanging around too. Stay away. This is nothing but a problem place.

If you like uninviting bartenders, unfriendly locals, drab and outdated décor then this spot’s just for you. The only thing worth noting was the $ 3 pints of domestic beer so I’ll begrudgingly give an extra star there.

Decent little small bar that is not far off Hwy 580. Honestly, I think that for most people it may not be worth a special trip, as there is not a whole lot in the immediate vicinity. Hence, it does have the feel of a local corner bar. It looks a touch weathered on the outside, but at least it is reasonably comfy on the inside. I haven’t been here late at night, and not sure if that would be such a great idea.

I have been coming to Shooters for 2 yrs now and have never had any issues until the security guard they call«Balue» inside showed interest in me and I was not interested. He has now banned me from coming becuz I showed no interest. Is he not there to do a job? Hmm he is not there to hit on women and if ur not interested ur kicked out. WOW!!! I have emailed the general manager with my complaint n have left a vm without a response as of yet. I have asked for the security company he works for n supposedly he owns his own company. I highly doubt that. I have heard many complaints abt him doin this to several women. Shooters will not last with him working there.

I’ve been going to shooters for a few years. Over the time the atmosphere has changed from older crowd to a younger crowd that has no respect what so ever. Even the security is awful. The main security who has said he runs the place has his favorites. He has constantly given my family a hard time when coming in there merely because both my nieces turned him down. The security(main one) is very disrespectful and I feel he will be the cause of this bar getting shut down. Last weekend I was involved in a brawl with a number of girls and that security stood and watched. The altercation started inside… he put all my nieces and there friends out and not the other lady who started it. I told them to leave and I stayed and another relative because we were keeping the peace. However that same lady was talking shit to us security still did not make her leave. Well must I say what happened at the end. I will never patronize that bar ever again from the bartenders who has all her breast hanging out to the goofy looking security is tacky. Make some changes before shooters is shut down.

Charlie the barkeep is awesome. He remembers regulars’ drinks and is super quick. He only works weekends when they are the busiest. Also there is free catered food every Sunday and when there is a regular’s birthday, free food is available. Treat Charlie right and he has been known to throw you a free drink or two. They also have the NFL Network, so you can watch any game you want usually. Four screens.

This place died when Bunny, it’s previous owner did. Crooked bartenders like every other bar giving away free drinks on the owners money. Not much new.

This is my boyfriend’s usual spot so he decided to let me in the circle! Lol! We had a blast. Drinks were good, the music was good, even the folks on the karaōke were good! All in all… this is pretty cool spot on a Friday night. just leave to dress and stilletos at home. it’s not that kind of spot. Lol!

Shooter’s Lounge and Bar is right across the street from a trailer park and very close to the highway, that’s really all you need to know to understand just what kind of situation you’re getting into when you get into a situation here. Service is spotty. The crowd is damaged accept those three yuppie chicks that were huddled together like they were studying the local culture. The drinks were so so and the atmosphere was intriguing; it’s not the sort of place you see in movies. Like most of the places I go, it’s not for everyone and typically that means you. More important to me but less important to the review was bash of an after party I crashed in the trailer park, Mike and Rita, hellz yeah! If you ever party in a trailer park know this, go whole hog and forget you thought there was anything better, ever.

I give Shooters 1 star because I think it’s better, before you think about going here, to keep your expectations low. Yes, Shooters is a dive bar. But not all dive bars are created equal. This place use to have a bit more character, a bit more excitement. I’m not sure what has happened, but in recent weeks, this place has taken a steady decline. What’s funny is that, true to a dive bar, they don’t seem to care much. If you’re into that, than enjoy! But I’m not feeling the change in up, especially in the staff. Lately, there’s just something phony about Shooters. Looking at the reviews here, someone mentioned there bartender Mike. I guess he’s gone though, not sure why? He had the affect of making you feel genuinely welcome, all well pouring the type of drink you hope to get. I’ll be avoiding this place in the future. There are, by my count, far better options than Shooters.

Okay, so my friend and I decided on a whim to go on a bar hopping excursion on a Monday night. We came across a Unilocal listing of a place called Shooter’s and decided to make our way over. This place is what you expect a typical dive bar to be. Jukebox, Video Games, Pool Table and a slew of regulars even for a Monday night. Right as we got into the bar we were greeted with a friendly hello followed by the normal age verification check. It was surprising(yet refreshing) that the salutation came before the legal stuff. The bartender(Trish) has the most engaging personality and her charisma is worth the 5 star rating on here. She fixed my friend us with her own twist on a raspberry margarita and she mixed me a Rum Punch. Both cocktails were delicious and not only that, it was affordable for not even being happy hour. On Fridays and Saturdays starting at 10pm they have karaōke night and I can’t wait to check that out this weekend. Being not from the area — if I was a local, I would actually find myself as a regular at this place.

Let’s get one thing straight, I am a little afraid of this place. I honestly feel like the Sunday afternoon regulars wanted to run my group of friends out and down the street with pitchforks in hand. Their burning eyes made me think I didn’t belong drinking any of their stale beer or eating from the Crockpot buffet. Will I return? Maybe, only for karaōke though.

Seedy… yes. Questionable regulars… oh yes. Cheap stale beer… you better believe it. Looks like it could be a great place for karaōke on a weekend evening, but on a Labor Day Sunday afternoon… definitely not the place to be.

Finding a karaōke bar in San Leandro, that offers it both Friday and Saturday, was an amazing discovery! We got many songs in, and even the DJ was coming to see if we wanted to do another if we hadn’t put one in for a while. Strong drinks, welcoming atmosphere, and a bartender with the voice of Stevie Knicks made it a win-win all around. The reason for 4 stars is that the karaōke started about 45mins past schedule, but in the end, my voice was gone the next day — signaling a great karoake night for all.
