OMG I really love the coffee. It gets me going!!! I’ve tried the Vietnamese iced coffee vanilla iced coffee and the coffee I gotta say this place is a hidden gem I’ve finally found my coffee shop!!! I’m so use to getting a large cup of coffee but here I can do a small cup that is how good it is! I’m really looking forward to them being open on weekends. The guy here is a cool dude very knowledgeable about the coffee. They also have a spicy coffee it has a acquired taste 0__0

I have frequented Sunrise Coffee Company several times over the past few months. They have a large variety of high quality single origin and coffee blends available whole bean and ground. The staff has always been helpful, warm, and welcoming. Their Dark New Guinea roast has a rich flavor without the harsh bitterness that is all too common with recognized brands. The Dark Kenya’s delicious and complex flavor profile has redefined my perspective on darker styles. For those preferring lighter roasts, the Burundi offers a bright, clean note and sweet aroma.

I have started coming here for the past month because I have been so sick of starbucks and peets coffee tasting horrible. All I can say is WOW! Best coffee I feel in the bay. #1 the inside of the coffee shop is very relaxing feeling, nice leather stools with plenty of comfortable chairs, free wifi and great customer service. There is an endless selection of coffee and flavors, my favorite is the cold brew. I always feel with other places, that their coffee is never strong enough and I always end up crashing later in the day. With this coffee I don’t crash and it taste great and it last all day. I recommend this place to anyone.

I went here this morning for some coffee, and I had only been in one other time before, but man their coffee is good! I didn’t know what to order because last time I came in my friend had ordered my drink, so I told the guy(who was super nice) that I wanted something strong but not black coffee. Whatever he made taste amazing! I highly recommend checking this place out!

Good strong coffee. They even have a little sit down area and free wifi. Hesitate writing this review only because I’d like to keep this place a secret. Definitely for the morning crowd, they close very early during the week.

Words can’t help you experience the best tasting coffee ever. So reviews are worthless, because Sunrise coffee is the most smooth, creamy, perfect cup of coffee! They have a creative menu not offered anywhere else with drinks for every walk of life. They are currently trying to relocate next door so they will be on the corner and more visible. Even now their coffee bar is uniquely authentic. A full size solid one piece hardwood bar, and décor committed to their coffee heritage, the interior is very clean and comfortably open. They use a Much larger size 22 gram espresso cup to brew, unlike most cafes that use small 12 gram espresso Brewers and then reuse their grounds sometimes. All their ingredients are fresh and employees take pride in their creations. Wish they had more places open around the South Bay.

Really friendly, neighborhood feel. Tucked away on a street with warehouses, but the inside is «coffeehousey» and welcoming. Seating at the counter(4 bar stools w back support) and four armchairs along the wall. 3 – 4 parking spaces in the lot and plenty of street parking. My drink was good, nice natural lighting, free wifi, and excellent customer service. Staff and customers both say hello to everyone who comes in! They’re expanding their food selection soon, too. Will definitely return. Thanks!

Delicious Coffee, Friendly People, Clean, and Quick! They offer alternative milks(soy and Almond) which is great for people avoiding milk(like me)! I am not a coffee snob but they make delicious coffee and if you are not satisfied they will fix it :)(not that I am ever not satisfied)

I’ve been getting coffee here for over a year. It is a must. I work ems so I need something super strong and the owner knows exactly what to concoct for me. Nice layout and they are branching out into a small selection of breakfast choices. Love this place.

Have driven by this business many times and finally decided to stop in to check it out. The only question is, why didn’t I come in sooner! Cesar is very friendly and sure is well educated in the coffee business. He has pride and integrity in his business. The lattes were fabulous and the tour of the roasting area and education about beans and roasting was an added bonus. It is wonderful to see such pride in this family run business. This will be our new«go to» place for beverages and beans.

Sunrise gets two stars for a clean and simple café with friendly service. Lack of stars is due to the quality and flavor of the coffee. I’m sorry guys, I can’t appreciate your coffee. :( I bought beans from here last year and asked for something for espresso. To clarify, I said I’m not into dark roasts for espresso(espresso does not need to be, and shouldn’t be dark roast in my opinion.) The guy convinced me that their Viennese would be good despite being a little dark. It was not. It was over roasted, and flavorless. Opening the bag you could barely get an aroma — flat. The smell of the coffee reminded me of 2 month old beans from my favorite roaster. Fast forward, I thought I’d give them another chance. I was out of coffee and decided to try a latte from them on my way to work. Milk was nicely steamed but the flavor of the coffee was burnt. Reminded me of burnt toast. No other flavor notes present. I have to admit, I’d rather go to Starbucks and I really don’t prefer Starbucks. If you like it, good for you, but I’m guessing you’ve never had a cup of Four Barrel or Blue Bottle. I happily make the 40 minute round trip drive to Blue Bottle in Oakland to buy coffee every 10 days. I can tell the owners care about their business, and I wish them the best in success.

Decided to stop in and it ended up being a great decision!!! I learned a few things about different types of coffee, got a quick tour of the place and had an awesome iced coffee made with condensed milk. If you like coffee, give this place a try!

Ok this coffee roaster has it all! Perfect coffee, incredible customer service! Ceasar & and his dad Milton Coreas have a huge passion for coffee and people! Milton has great stories of how as a young child he learned to pick beans and roast with his grandmother in El Salvador. We walked into this hidden coffee roaster and 2 hours later we walked out with 2 new friends, a deeper love of coffee and a huge respect for those who peak and roast the coffee beans we enjoy. If you are ever in the Bay Area please stop in and tell them Frank and Denise sent you!

I think I came here at the wrong time. The barista seem confused and had to look at the menu for a while. I had ordered a small latte with almond milk that straight up just taste like coffee and milk. It didn’t taste like a latte at all and there was way too much foam. I thought the place was nice and the barista was friendly though.

I try to support mom & pop businesses. I found this place on Unilocal and it is right around the corner. Probably have driven past this place thousands of times. Came in to purchase a pound of chocolate mint flavored whole coffee beans($ 10& some change with the Unilocal check-in discount) I have to say it tastes great. It’s not as strong as Peet’s but a good change. I can’t wait to try the other flavors. Not all of the flavors are noted on the wall so check the website to see them all. They also makes a variety of drinks and have donuts & pastries. Employees were nice. Small parking lot and street parking available.

Aside from a giant coffee cup you would not know this place is here. Thousands of cars drive about 150 feet from it and never realize they can get their coffee fix here. It took me ten years to set foot in here and I work literally a minute drive. Place is not crowded so you can talk coffee with the guy. The negative is limited selection of eats. Don’t expect any breakfast sandwiches. Mostly eats you will get is stuff they pick up from Costco or Safeway donuts. Though they did have a muffin from Sprouts that I liked. For a roaster I can’t say their coffee is the best but does the trick.
