Supermercado La raza isn’t as super as others. no taqueria, no panadena. they do have a meat/seafood section, a well stock mex/american beer section and some cheap pan mexicano and donuts.(2/$ 10 buys: –modelo especial chelada(w/tomato & lime juice, salt)-2.99 liked this better than the bud version even better than tecate with limes. didn’t see microbrews, if any –pan mexicano(4/$ 1) ok, fresh tasting –helado ice bar,(cookies & cream)(.99) yummy notes: –didn’t see parking lot, maybe in back –large store(eden market before), clean, –farmer’s coffee available. –ok shopping for the area…

I have worked near here for eight years and never stopped by La Raza market(I think for fear of running into my students), but I recently needed to pick up some produce and stopped in. Decent selection of veggies, decent prices, clean, friendly… overall a good choice!
