I can not speak highly enough of Castle Keepers. They are incredibly flexible, friendly, timely, and you get a genuine sense that they have your best interests at heart. Our one bedroom apartment was clean, cheap, and most utilities were included. When we needed to move for my boyfriend’s new job, they let us terminate our lease months early AND handled everything to do with finding a new tenant to take it over. When we lost the mail key, we got a new one free of charge. They are even taking care of the carpet cleaning after we move out, which is fairly rare nowadays. Of course a lot of this depends on your specific lease and the property owner, but overall they made the renting process A LOT less stressful!

Castle Keepers is an excellent property management company. When something goes wrong, they are incredibly responsive getting a repair team out within 24 hours usually for even the more minor fixes. Emergencies such as flooding they are incredibly fast and responsive. Definitely a company I would recommend.

I have since moved on from my lovely downtown apartment managed by Castle Keepers and I have to say, for anyone looking to rent in SLO, this is the property management company you want to do business with. They are honest, respectful women who will work with you to address any issue you may have.
Plus, if you follow their move-​out cleaning list and pass their walk-​through inspection, you will get your full deposit mailed back to you within 2 – 3 weeks of move-​out, minus carpet cleaning fees. It ended up being only $ 89…pennies compared to the full deposit.
I wouldn’t have moved except for the fact that I have recently decided it is about time I got myself a dog, and they didn’t have any pet friendly places.
