San Luis Obispo Golf & Country Club

Came here for a golf tournament. It was a rainy day and the staff was a buzz. The staff in the restaurant was very nice. They were attentive and friendly. The golf course was OK and facilities are a bit dated. What was VERY disturbing to me was my experience in the women’s locker room. While I was standing there, a male staff member decided to walk right in the back door (presumably to take a short cut) and through the locker room to another exit. He acted as though it happens all the time and that it was commonplace for a male staff member to be in the women’s locker room during regular hours. It was very unsettling.

I was here for the Annual Christmas Brunch and the buffet spread is phenomenal! It is an incredible display of opulence and excess sure to please the upper crust American Palate. The facility is top flight and the views from the dining room and on the patio are spectacular. The staff is quite professional and this is what a country club should be!

Terrible Establishment. I left a Brand-​new, worn once, sweater there durning a party by mistake. i went back the very next day. Someone I know from the party turned in the sweater to the management. The establishment didn’t seem care about the situation at all… Long story short, I’m out an $ 80 sweater… 1 star for good food, 1 star for nice atmosphere, and 1 star because Unilocal won’t let me make a «zero» star…

I had dinner here on Sat with a member and was pleasantly surprised. First of all the cocktails were cheap! Our server was very nice and was happy to accommodate the unusual eating habits of our kids. I ordered the fish and chips, it was fresh, crunchy, salty and hot, what more could you want?

This club is top notch. The golf course is always in impeccable condition. The greens are always great as well. The tennis club is great, the pool is good for families and lap swim. The restaurant is always mixing up the dishes and the chef does an excellent job of putting together something different each season. The club is private, but it us well worth it.

This is a FANTASTIC place for a wedding reception! You will have a great experience from start to finish with Bill as your event coordinator especially! Every detail is attended to, and the pricing is very reasonable and they are true to their word on the cost. It’s a gorgeous location with an incredible view from every angle of the ballroom. The staff was outstanding, and as I said, make sure you work with Bill as he’s the greatest! Food was wonderful and bar bills were reasonable. I highly recommend the San Luis Obispo Country Club for your wedding reception! We had a sit down dinner and it was great, but more than that, you are treated amazingly the whole time planning and during the entire event where the event coordinator doesn’t leave until after you do at the end of the night, and makes sure every detail is attended to. He even brought drinks down to the wedding part on a golf cart while they were having their photos! The best!
