A friend actually introduced us to this winery and I fell in love with their wine. Need to say I’m a wine member now every time I have company in town I always bring them here and they love it as well. Im a huge Zinfandel fan and there wines are so good.

Small tasting room tucked away on Biddle Ranch Rd focusing on Zin and Zin Blends. Our tasting was great and the tasting room staff were fun and lively. We caught them at the end of the day, but they were still energetic and we had a great time. They seem to have wine for every palate, but we preferred the blends the most. Based on the size of the tasting room and bar I assume that they must utilize their patio and outdoor bar on busy days. It was a little windy for us to try to enjoy, but we could see how it would be great on the right day.

I recently hosted a going away party at the lovely Saucelito Canyon tasting room and it was a pleasure from start to finish. I contacted Katharine via their website with some questions and she replied in a timely manner and made the whole experience easy and seem less. The tasting room staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and when I arrived to set up for the party, I was greeted with helping hands. The tasting room is cozy but the grounds are spacious and beautiful. The wine is delicious and I would recommend this winery for an afternoon of tasting or as a location for a small group gathering.

What a lovely little place. Right on the road. The staff was super friendly despite being short one. Service was fantastic. Wine was good. Three option wine club is available. Patty and Amber explained everything perfectly. Loved it!

Is there any better way to end a vacation than by wine tasting? Uhhmm, No! Pati and Teri took great care of us at the bar and Amber absolutely spoiled us on the outside patio. Delicious wines and a lovely relaxed setting made for a perfect end to our trip. Check in and get 20% off your purchases or, be cool like us and join the wine club and for a generous 30% off your take-aways. Regardless, Do not miss this delightful winery on your next trip through SLO.

One of my favorites to sit out and have a glass of wine out on their patio area. The giant palm tree is pretty cool and there is a good amount of shade or sun depending on what you’re looking for. Always a great spot to add to your list of Edna Valley wineries.

Went wine tasting with a group of 12 and made this one of our stops. There was plenty of seating outside, by the tasting bar and on the grass. We had a picnic lunch prior to our tasting. There’s benches overlooking farmland in a nice shaded area. This was our favorite winery of the the day and some of our favorites wines. So much so that we came back and purchased a few more bottles to enjoy in their patio before closing.

Amazing staff and wonderful wines. Must come and try, this is a great place to just hang out and relax. You can either stand at the wine bar for your tasting or sit out on their patio. Your choice, take your time or taste and run. Ever time we have been here, we end up meeting wonderful people and having a nice relaxing time conversing with the staff as well as other patrons, we have met some locals and travelers from as far away as the Netherlands. You must check this place out, you can’t go wrong.

For a desert wine this is tops! I wish I could get it in a club shipment… just a desert club. I’d give it as a gift but every time I buy it to give away… yeah, I don’t share. Unless you’re standing in front of me when I’m pouring it for myself, then maybe you’ll get a little glass too. Just kidding. Sort of.

Great wines. Great customer service. Great outdoor area. Easily one of my favorite wineries on the central coast. I make it a point to stop here every time I am in the area. On multiple occasions my group has sat outside with our dogs and the employees never forget about us. They constantly check on us and the dogs despite being super busy with customers inside. Also– try a bottle of the 1880, you won’t regret it!

Was not happy at all with this place. We had been to several wineries throughout the past two days and I am wishing we had not stopped here. I did not feel welcomed. The server started pouring our flight before we even had a chance to look at what was in the flight and didn’t even explain what we were drinking. Both employees working seemed snobbish and not very friendly. They told you what you were drinking with too quick of a description. I felt rushed and not really given a chance to really enjoy and savor the wines. Definitely will not go here again.

Congratulations! You have found the earliest wine tasting open in the area! Open at 10am, this is not the only thing their the first in: Saucelito winery is also the oldest winery in the area and still bottles wine exclusively from its vines that date from 1800. Lucky enough to have come in December when the 1800 vine bottle is available for tasting before it sells out in the new year, the vino was delish and much lighter in taste than others in the area. I left delighted from the wine and knowledgeable about the winery. Epic win win. Go to taste wine from the oldest vines in the central coast!

Love Saucelito Canyon. Great wines, reasonable prices and so friendly. Everyone is invited to enjoy the patio. $ 10 tasting and fee waived if you buy only one bottle.

What a cute little winery! The tasting room is very small but you can take your tasting out on the patio for more space and privacy. The woman who poured our wines was very knowledgeable and friendly. She brought the bottles outside for our pours. On a sunny day, it’s a really nice shaded patio. The wines were wonderful, especially the zinfandel. We walked out with a 2012 Zin.

i’m not a big fan of whites, but after this, i probably will be. 10 $ for 5 tastings. the tasting room is small, but you can sit outside on their beautiful garden patio and be entertained by their adorable pug dog. the hostesses were super friendly and knowledgeable. the wines were good and i was more than happy to start my day at 10am with a stop at Saucelito.

Great, small, local, and dog-friendly spot to get my wine on! This place only has one tasting menu with 5 different wines. Tasting is $ 10 but with every bottle purchased the tasting fee is waived. Thus, my bf and I purchased 2 bottles: the 2012 Sauvignon Blanc and 2012 Dos Mas! It’s too bad that they don’t ship out of state, would have purchased a case of something. Highly recommend!

Outstanding wine tasting experience! Small tasting room but delightful. Several chairs/tables on the patio if you want to taste leisurely. We enjoyed Corinne indoors describing the wines, owners family and vineyard. Not many vineyards I can say I enjoyed EVERY wine tasted… but here I can. Specializing in Zins & Tempranillo I can say they were all wonderful. Backroads Zin was very light and enjoyable. A nice variation. We later opened a bottle for our lunch on the enjoyable patio. Their Zin Estate is full bodied, dry but smooth. After commenting how much I enjoyed the Muchacho blend with Tempranillo(excellent) Corinne opened a bottle of a100% Tempranillo. I love a good Tempranillo. Great winery… we’ll be back.

What do wine tasting and technical documentation have in common? Nothing except that at the mention of both I get sleepy. Saucelito Canyon was a positively surprising change of pace and vibe from nor cal wineries. while their wines were as good as can be expected the unpretentious vibe was what made our spur of the moment visit much more fun than anything I’ve experienced in the Napa area(which tend to be crowded, tedious, and boring). Finally the fast and attentive yet totally laid back service makes this place worth a visit.
