Well this is my new go-to Starbucks. It’s close to my house, the staff is super friendly and sweet to me, and it’s improved from a month ago. I think if you’ve been a Starbucks-goer long enough, you know by now that building a rapport with a barista(or two) can be very rewarding. You get that little bit of extra attention that just gives you a sense of… belonging there. Here’s the thing with this Starbucks: the tables are plentiful but they are all round and small! Though close to campus, it’s intentionally not as welcoming to students(because we all know how students buy one thing and stay for hours studying). And I don’t mean they are cold to students. Definitely not! Many of the baristas are students themselves there! I’m saying the tables aren’t very conducive for laying out your books and laptop simultaneously. They are tiny and round. There are a few electrical outlets present. I like that the restrooms are well-kept and clean too! So here’s the layout: 10 tables. Three of them are short and round, one is rectangular(but handicap designated). Between these four tables there are three electrical outlets(one hidden). The other tables are tall and circular(think barstool-seat, tall). One of those tables is by an electrical outlet, the rest are not. This Starbucks has great hours! Mon-Sun 5am-10pm Just remember, a little respect goes a long way. With anyone.

This location does not have very good seating or atmosphere. Obviously the drinks and food is all exactly the same as any other Starbucks anywhere else.

IFYOUGAVETHISSTARBUCKS A BADREVIEW, I FEELBADFORYOUSON. I GOT99PROBLEMSANDTHISSTARBSAIN’T ONE. Been living walking distance from this Starbs for about 3 years, and have never once had a bad experience. And trust me, there was a good portion of my life when I was here twice a day, everyday. It’s Starbucks. You get what you expect and isn’t that all you can ask for really? The folks working here have probably been awake since 3am serving hung over rich 18 year olds venti non fat decaf iced triple shot six pump sugar free vanilla lattes for $ 9 an hour. So don’t get your panties in a bunch when they don’t ask if they can personally wipe your a$$ after you have your morning coffee s**ts. YOUKEEPDOINYOUFAM!

This Starbucks is ten times slower than the one on Madonna near Ralph’s. I was the only one in line when I walked in, it took them 10 minutes to make my 1 drink… Madonna Starbucks whips my order out in 1 minute! Seriously.

This Starbucks has become my favorite study spot. The baristas are all so kind and friendly. It can get busy, especially during the peak hours in the morning or after church on Sunday, but the baristas are able to accurately and quickly make the drink/food orders. The atmosphere is nice and the place is clean. The only downside is that parking can be a little difficult when it is busy.

They need new baristas! Out of the few times I have stopped here to get a drink, it has hardly ever been a pleasant experience, just convenient stopping grounds. Since when is it right for employees to make fun of their customers? They were not making fun of me, but customers in general. According to them, their customers can’t put things back on the shelves right and they have no problem saying it loudly so everyone in there can hear. The one at the register did not seem happy to even have a customer and the one making the drinks was happy to set the drink on the counter, call it out quickly, and then get back to gossiping with the others; no thanks for the business. If the manager reads these… do something about your employees please. It was Tuesday about 4:40PM on 9⁄2 when all this took place.

Of the Starbucks I visited in the area, this one was my favorite. Unlike the store by the Madonna Inn, these guys have their ish together and are really friendly. Because I’m moving up to SLO within the next month, I’m scoping out where to remedy my caffeine addiction. This could be my new store. The baristas were very friendly, quick to serve, and reminded me of what the goal of Starbucks was when I worked there: to be the third place you hung out, after home and school/work. Our drinks were perfect, my parents loved the scones they got(they just discovered that you can warm pastries at Starbucks. Trust me, if anything is good in the pastry case it’s a million times better warmed), and service was top notch.

They always keep it clean, great service. They are super kind. In the mornings, a line develops but you still can get in and out in pretty quickly. Only downside is the parking lot gets crowded and super congested.

I’m not rating Starbucks, I’m rating this specific location. I love Starbucks and have no problems with their quality of beverages or baked goods, HOWEVER this location is consistently such an unpleasant experience. The baristas are so chatty. They’re so into their conversations that they don’t pay attention to you. While sitting there doing homework, you will undoubtedly hear them gossiping loudly. I’ve tried repeatedly to be friendly with them and the baristas are almost always too busy talking to their friends to even give me the time of day. If it wasn’t right across the street from me, I would never go here.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks! The people here are super friendly and are always on their-toes-busy! I came in today wanting my regular Hot Chocolate. The nice cashier didn’t even bat an eye when I asked for a «Grande IN a Venti Cup.» Some cashiers, at other Starbucks, look at me weird when I ask for this out of the ordinary request. The barista knew what she was doing and made my Hot Chocolate so yummy. I think it’s the vanilla flavoring that adds the kick to make this warm, chocolate, liquid heaven so delicious. The parking lot can be a bit tedious at times. But if you drive to the adjoining lot, just around the corner of the building, there is always plenty of spots to choose from.

I work at a Starbucks in Downtown Los Angeles, pretty busy, but my partners are super friendly and we’ve never had complaints about our attitudes during a shift. I went to this Starbucks yesterday and today. The girl who worked yesterday was super friendly and we had no problem with our drinks. Today, the two girls were rude, especially the barista on register. The girl who made my drink was pretty annoyed because I saw that she had made many frappuccinos before ours. Mine was not even made correctly and it was a simple caramel flavor. I’m not going to be a customer who says I will never go to this Starbucks again when I’m visiting but this staff needs an attitude adjustment.

Not friendly, didn’t make drink as requested and threw away extra after bring told that was all I had for nutrition all day. Thanks allot. Not cool. That’s really not nice. very frustrating. That was my review last time. funny this time they claimed to not even have the protein powder… sad. you think someone who gets a frap a day would be someone to please with customer service. Update on that Hazelnut Macchiato. The hot one that I reviewed on last time had nonfat milk so maybe that played a factor in it’s tastelessness. Tried the iced version this time though… YUM. If you’re gonna try it, get it iced!!! :) with normal milk.

After leaving Los Angeles, CA at 5am and driving 3& ½ hours to San Luis Obispo for a 9 am meeting I was in much need of some coffee. I saw this Starbucks and decided I need to get some JAVAFAST&PRONTO… I found parking even with all the cars coming & going that early in the morning and walked inside. Indeed there was a line to order from the cashier, but it did move along quickly. Once I ordered my Caramel Macchiato, it only took about 2 mins to receive my much needed coffee. I can saw that the Cashier was very nice and efficient as well as the Baristas who made my concoction of a coffee. They flowed everyone through so everyone was happy and getting on their way, myself included. Will return to this Starbucks if ever I have to be back in SLO.

They are so nice at the Chorro Street location. I had a very last minute enormous order, and I mean for over 100 people. They pulled it together and didn’t make me feel like I was putting them out at all. Incidentally, the local establishment across the street was not as accomodating. I tried to shop locally, but in the end it’s the right management and employees who make all the difference. You really can get the best service and a great product from the giant corporations. You are doing it right in this town Starbucks!

Starbucks in SLO!!! Nice location at the TRI-Corner. Usually quite busy and have the usual fare like any other locations. But, I always appreciate the service and friendliness that the Baristas share with their clientele.

I forgot to mention in my original review, the parking here in the morning is very tight, as they have a small parking lot. There’s no drive-thru to ease the traffic either.

I rarely give a Starbucks Coffee a 5 star review but this was a 5 star experience and so much needed on my recent road trip down to SoCal. I was super sleepy and tired so this was a welcome stop to grab a quick cup of tea. The staff was super friendly and I was very surprised they had some major for sale items! Starbucks merchandise is my weakness. haha. Lovely location, right next to Jamba Juice as well so it satisfied everyone in my party. Great location!

By far the best Starbucks in SLO as far as the drinks are concerned. Used to be even better, when Jacob and Peter worked there… No cushy chairs. Not much seating at all, actually. Definitely a high-traffic location for students and cops/EMTs/firefighters alike. Gets the job done well!

Tip for the ladies… I had a friend in high school that used to frequent this Starbucks consistently just to view the slew of EMTs and firefighters that frequent this joint due to the über-close proximity of Sierra Vista hospital and the local fire department. Perhaps she had a secret plan to choke on her bagel and cream cheese, hoping one of these local beef-cakes would rescue her by performing the heimlich maneuver or mouth-to-mouth… This Starbucks is my mecca… I return time after time whenever I come home for a quick trip or vacation to SLO. Hey, and while they make your chai tea latte you can walk on over to Fantastic Sam’s near Albertsons and get a haircut. A decent haircut and a decent latte, 15 bucks… not bad. And be sure to bring your laptop and check your email while you’re at it.
