Came here on my lunch break… Got a tea and a sandwich… Waited 25 minutes for a tea… There was sonay staff members but they were all talking to each other… Very unprofessional and it doesn’t take 25 minutes to make a tea…

Usually really great, when they are busy there is 0 sense of urgency. The staff is moseying around and doesn’t seem to care that a ton of people are waiting.

They make great coffee here, but every time I visit, and I mean every time, they are out of breakfast sandwiches. Come on guys, order more than one that’s in the display or tell us before we’ve waited 10 minutes in line to be told sorry, no sandwiches.

5 stars, this Starbucks rocks! Visit this place almost everyday, and there’s a reason for it! :)

Long lines. Understaffed. Slow –one speed– barista(short side parted black hair with a large pink bow). No chai. No mango. No peach. Damn. With this many bad reviews why doesnt the manager fix it? It took 15 min to get a drink. Go to Barnes and noble. I will next time.

I had the worst experience on this a Starbucks in town the people that are on the front counter are very rude I waited forever for my drinks… as you can tell the rating is at three stars … I think people are being too nice I’m going to give them 1 star! I will never go back again. they are very rude and On top of that they lie to you about your rewords they lied to me about me getting my rewords they told me that we are only allowed to get three a day which was a lie! What these employees dont realize is that they have a job because of us we pay $ 5 dollars for coffee and that’s why they have a job but apparently they don’t know!!! they don’t care !!! don’t waste your money on this higuera location… there’s plenty of Starbucks in town REMEMBERTHISPROBLEMSTARTSFROMTHETOP … POORMANAGEMENT

Code for the bathroom? They have a code to use the bathroom, my wife was in line buying something and my kid had to really go. My 3 year old kid. These jerks made a big deal about did I buy something. Yeah I did but that will be the last time. Pete’s down the way from now on.

I agree with everybody else. This absolutely the worst Starbucks I have been to. The drinks are sub par. They are absolutely rude. I hope to find a new coffee place downtown soon

Unbelievably rude! I can totally corroborate the experience of Karla A. The same thing happened to me only a week later. I had bought a drink, finished it and asked to use the bathroom. This total Nazi barista girl actually barred my way, told me she didn’t see me buy a drink and I couldn’t use it! Then the manager comes up, tells me «homeless people» can’t use the bathroom and I should go and piss at Pete’s. Almost speechless, really…

I had a tradition that goes back for years. Go shopping and to a movie and stop at this location for a latte. Never again. Starbucks needs to fire everyone that works here, especially the jerk with the earplugs. I went in and needed to use the restroom. You apparently need a code to unlock the door now. When I asked the barista for the code he said«It’s for customers.» So unbelievably rude. I ordered a latte and he practically threw my drink at me. The guy seriously needs to get laid or work someplace that doesn’t involve people. Not that the rest of the staff is any help, they’re all grumpy and hate life. I will go get a smoothie at Java juice from now on. Starbucks, you’re really losing it with this store.

The one bummer is they took away the outdoor seating on one side of the building. The employees are always nice, service is fast. Its a nice place for coffee.

The guy was so rude yesterday and tonight. We are from out-of-town, everybody in SLO keeps saying«shop local.» He gives us another reason to do so. But oh, we love our Starbucks so! Learn some customer service, people. Oh yeah, and the coffee was kinda old too. :’( Last thing: the window said they close @ 10:00pm on Sundays, they sure as hell kicked us out(rudely) at 10:00 — we hadn’t even put cream in our coffee yet — but Unilocal says 11:00. FYI someone should change that, if possible. We diehard Unilocaler bux fans tend to believe our phones!

Inside is nice, but it sure is awfully expensive. I wasn’t particularly delighted with how they talk down to you if you have basic questions revealing your lack of knowledge of their options. I’ll continue to come until the gift card I received is all used up, then probably never again.

Came here today 11/21/2013 at this location to purchase Vanilla latte, customer before me was in some important conversation about her Starbucks reward card and the barista wanted to end the conversation but the customer did not so I wasn’t greeted or acknowledge then some older gentleman decided to cut in front of me and the barista(heavy set, messy hair and not shaved) ignored me. I did not caused a scene I was polite, I ordered my drink and I still left a tip. Not a fan of this Starbucks location. 3rd strike you’re out.

Never again. I kicked myself for not following my urge when I felt it to just leave my Izzie on the counter and turn around to walk out. Stood there for about three minutes, the only one waiting to be helped, while five employees stood around making obscene, not even funny jokes and generally ignoring me, even though they all kept looking ay me. Fucking ASSHOLES! Only in California van people act this way without having their fave wipes across the ground. And in a Starbucks!!? Why the fuck should I spend money for that sort of service? I didn’t even feel comfortable sitting in their to have my drink. Nothing but a bunch of dipshits«working» here.

A Starbucks in a college town, that should be enough warning! Enter at your own risk. My guess is you will find nowhere to sit and tons of Apple products on tables, in laps, resting nestled next to back packs, or being used feverishly to scroll through to IG/FB. I shouldn’t forget to mention this is also one of the only Starbucks in the downtown area… my memory is hazy, its been awhile since I graduated, but I say this fairly confidently. There are a couple of those quirky, one-off coffee shops, but not near this end of the main street. If you’re looking to grab a quick coffee or snack, you’re all good, if you’re lookin’ for more — you better go somewhere else. I definitely want to give them props for having ice cold water on tap, with a stack of cups right next to it. I can appreciate this on the randomly hot 805 days, which don’t happen often, but they did this last visit. If you don’t heed my warning, your bad!

smiling service is great, I was a bit confused when the girl was filling a previous customer’s order of tall coffee while turning her head to ask me what I wanted, and I was hesitant to tell her because I wanted my order done right! I’m not impatient, she can take her time, it’s really okay! smiling service FTW~
