T.Leigh Couture

I found Teresa through Unilocal and thrilled I did. We live in Fresno and have a 2^nd home in Arroyo Grande. I had tried to find a seamstress in Fresno to make a dress that fit to a «T». I couldn’t find it on line from the designer. I couldn’t find a seamstress in Fresno to make the dress. So, one weekend I searched at the coast and found Teresa.
Teresa is amazing. She is one of the nicest, energetic, pleasant and friendly people I know. She duplicated the dress (3 dresses in different colors). We couldn’t find the fabric, so when on vacation in San Francisco she tracked down the special suede silk fabric.
I have had Teresa do a couple of small alterations and she turns them around that day or next day.
I feel so blessed to have found Teresa, not just for her sewing abilities but for meeting a special person.

Teresa is amazing. I had ordered a dress online for my sons wedding in January, the 3^rd to be exact. SHe was able to at the last minute over the New Years hoidays to alter it perfectly. She is timely, and reasonable. SHe reallly is your go to person if you need anything altered or created. Thanks Teresa you made the dress fit perfect and I felt fabulous at my sons wedding!

Our grandsons were super thrilled with their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Halloween costumes; custom creations of T. Leigh Couture. Teresa is amazingly creative and pays such attention to little things that «make» the outfit… and the boys noticed exclaiming Donnie! and Mikey! when they opened them. Teresa took the time to make them super durable and washable for dress up play time too. The backpacks and jackets are functional, and I bet they’ll be using them out and about town. Thank you Teresa!

I handed off a piece I needed altered VERY quickly to T. Leigh Couture. I am a performer and my outfits are part of the process. Not only were the alterations perfect, the time frame in which I received my outfit back was timely and exactly when I needed it. Teresa has an amazing eye for exactly what needs to be changed to make a piece fit YOU precisely. So glad I have this amazing service in my life! Thank you!

Teresa is an amazing seamstress. I picked a 1957 vogue dress pattern out for my wedding dress and the end result was executed perfectly. I had multiple fittings with her to assure the best fit on the day-​of and it worked beautifully. She is professional and has a very keen eye for fashion.

I found t. leigh couture to be timely & perfect for my needs on the multiple times I have needed alterations.
I took Teresa a dress I had bought that was strapless as I loved the color and cut, but really wanted straps for. She took some fabric off the bottom of the dress as it was longer than I needed and created straps that had a twist to them that was in the fashion of the details in the bodice. I get compliments each time I wear it & love that I feel more comfortable in it!
She has also taken pants and turned them into Capris for me which made them more flattering for me.
Also love that a couple of times I have brought her items to alter after losing weight that were now too big (I know awful problem, right?) and she was able to alter them for longer enjoyment!
In the past month she created a beautiful wedding dress for one of my coworkers that the bride seriously glowed in.
