«Our guys will do it right the first time»…if not, we will off them.

This was my second move with Tony, the first. Being only to unload a pod. This time the move was around the corner, about 1600 feet. Sadly, each day I find more damage. Sadly for Tony I took pictures before the move!
Here are some of the damages: one side curved glass on curio cabinet, scratches /​chunks out of chairs, piano, fireplace, rocking chair, Grandfather clock not working (worked before), missing pieces for bedframe, torn upholstery on back of chair, demolished nightstand… actually collapsed when I touched it, everything came out …
There’s more but this should be enough to indicate real care (only speed) was taken
Of course Tony denies he has any responsibility, it was all my fault.
And of course he didn’t have change as another reviewer had mentioned. I had him apply difference for delivery of refrigerator I had sold… that client claims he scratched her floors
Tony, take a little more time and show a bit more respect for people,‘s belongings. We don’t mind paying for quality service but I can’t repair or replace the damages you caused
Prospective clients… be there during the loading… all of it… and make sure they don’t leave anything behind. I had to move 3 carloads on my own because I trusted them

Now the owner can’t accept a bad review and says he never heard of us. Funny since you’ve called and text me since the review so you know exactly who we are! I’ll revoke my review when I find my missing purses which you say in the voice mail you left me «you must have thrown them away»… because women so often throw away expensive purses. And the reason we used you again is because like I stated you did GREAT the first move and I wasn’t positive the purses were missing as we had boxes that were never unpacked until now.
I also never said you made me pay you for not working. We asked you to start later so we could deal with the rental truck and you said you had to pay your guys starting at 10am regardless and basically we had to stop by our house, unlock the door so you could start even though we were not there and asked for you to wait until we got home.
Also never said you left our daughters toys, those were in fact loaded, it was the backyard toys I referee to. Which I did say «if there is not room we will deal with them» but you and your crew stated there was plenty of room in the truck as we got the largest truck and only had a small townhome. Had you loaded the truck better everything would have fit.
And the whole change thing, you’re being ridiculous. I know my husband and he would not have said to keep the change. He is cheap. Extremely cheap. You never offered any change. Nor did you «round down»
Please don’t lie and say we were not your customer when we’ve used you twice and you’ve called and text me which I can post if you’d like? Now you have made yourself a liar. Just accept the bad review and move on. I see you also did this to another bad review which again looks bad on you!

He put three large dings/​scratches in my 1 year old refrigerator. I sent him an email to resolve the issue and I never heard back from him. I had to reduce the price of my refrigerator by $ 200 in order to sell it. He also would not take a credit card, that seems rather unprofessional with «the square» and other mobile devices available. I also found the pair to be rather unfriendly.

I can not say enough good things about Tony and his professionalism in helping me and my parents to move recently.
Let’s face it. Moving is crazy stressful, and even more so because I don’t know Jack about protecting stuff for a big move. That’s okay. Tony knows a ton about this stuff. He came in, counseled my parents and I on how to wrap up certain challenging items, and then proceeded to efficiently and professionally move all my stuff into a moving van in a such a careful and confident way that it completely reassured me and my folks. I was super impressed with how well he organized stuff in the van and in how he used professional movers’ tools like mattress straps and hand trucks and all the other little accessories that make the job easier.
Overall, it was a hugely positive experience hiring Tony. And it was refreshing to be reminded that within any category, a true professional can save you money, protect your assets and reduce your stress, all while providing valuable and helpful insight. In the end, because Tony was so efficient, he also turned out to be a great bargain. He only charged me $ 80 for less than 3 hours work.
Great job Tony, and my apologies that I was a little skeptical in the beginning. You provide an important and valuable service man.

O. K…so here’s the deal. I’m a pinball geek.
By that, I mean I collect and love playing pinball machines. Add to the mix the fact that I live in a two story house and my back is shot out leads me to this review.
I’ve used T Stevens Moving company three times to haul pinball machines up and down my stairs. Each encounter has been beyond positive and a bargain.
Now you can get cheaper if you troll Craigslist and hire tweekers that will (fill in the blanks) drop/​steal/​vomit on your precious goodies… or you can hire a licensed and bonded guy like Tony who will make sure your move is stress free.
Sounds like a no brainer…
