A lot of shops close early in SLO. It was great to see such a fun variety of items in a cute store open until 9pm.

Love this store. I went in without expecting anything and was ecstatic. I love the Science & original base of toys, stones, jewelry, stickers, purses, everything! And the staff was customer service orientated. A very nice find.

Walnut Creek, CA
This is a stand out gift shop on Higuera with beautiful nature inspired jewelry, scarves and toys. Not only that, but for the holidays they feature an array of woodland themed holiday cards, tree decorations and other ornaments. Educational toys? Yup! Novelty books featuring lovable animals such as Unlikely Friendships? Hooray-​yes!!!
I could spend quite a bit of time browsing their unique and nature oriented books, decorative items, games and accessories. This shop seriously has something for every nature lover on your list and for Thanksgiving weekend they were offering some great specials.
One of my favorite shops in SLO. It has items for adults, kids and kids at heart!

We always hit this place when we’re in SLO. Decent selection of rocks and gems, but pricing is a little high. They have especially nice pieces in the show cases and sometimes there is one in there for a very nice price.

This is not a toy store but there are lots of toys in it. Its not a hippy store but it has lots of natural stuff, this store is just fun. You could spend an hour here and have it not feel like a moment. Its not a science store but there is a lot of stuff to make you think. Come here and you’ll find something fun and original. I left with a really amazing umbrella that looks just like a big leaf from then rainforest. The staff here is really friendly and relaxed and helps make the experience even better.
